or savouring a multi-course meal prepared by Chef de Cuisine Steve Sperling, dining at the Charles Inn Restaurant is always special. Our wine list features the best that Niagara has to offer including a wonderful selection of ice wines to accompany that special dessert. During the warmer months, a candle lit dinner can be enjoyed on the side verandah which overlooks the gardens as well as North America's oldest golf course. After dinner, guests are welcome to enjoy a glass of port or ice wine or perhaps a specialty coffee in the adjoining lounge or sit on the verandah to enjoy the evening sky. The dining room is open seven days a week.

Love the Charles Inn so i regretably write this... We went for what we hoped would be Sunday brunch, unfortuately they were only serving lunch on Easter Sunday... I would have expected more then a menu that carried , the choice of a Burger, Clun sadwich, fish or MAc & Cheese.. it doesn't matter how you dres these itmes up .. I could have went to my local family freindly restuarnt and gotten a better selection... We left without even having lunch it was that bad. Dylan you are great thank you for your outstanding effort in finding us an alternate place to have Sunday Brunch

In-laws were the guests. They are older and required a more subdued environment. Consequently, their visit was off season during the middle of the week. They were very pleased with the environment and the wait staff. Food was excellent and they stated "that was really a nice 'treat'!"

This was our second visit to the Charles Inn. The service as excellent and the atmosphere is very romantic and relaxing. The food is always fabulous and prepared and presented perfectly! Great value for your money. We will certainly return on our next visit to Niagara on the Lake!

Very disappointed with 2 out of the 3 meals that were ordered!! Amazing for the cost that the quality of the food is so poor. We were there to celebrate my 60th birthday and again so disappointed. We should of stayed home and I could cook a better meal!!

Food was great in general. Waiter was friendly and personable but very forgetful. Forgot our bread, mixed up our cocktail order, forgot our wine, didn't ask how we wanted our meat cooked. Friendly guy, though.

Charles Inn is by far one of our favourite restaurants and we make a point to go there every time we visit Niagara on the Lake, which is usually two times a year. Every visit is always greeted with exceptional food and staff and I can't say enough good things about it. I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to those looking for a romantic evening.

Overall only fair for the price. Soup came out cold and had to go back. When it came back hot it was very good. Some service items didn't fit with the class of restaurant. No fresh ground pepper offered. Server filled our water glasses once. Wine list only had limited selection of good wines.
