The ribeye steak could have been more flavorful and the veal francaise was ok. Our server was not that attentive and didn't seem too knowledgeable about menu itmes and some of the pricing. Our waitress, Stephanie, was very energetic and engaging. I had dined there before, but my friends were there for the first time and already know that they want to go back! Whenever I am in the area I always cook because the restaurant options around are mostly chain restaurants and places I've been to and haven't really enjoyed but this place was great! The food was great- I had the codfish and the burrata to start- both excellent and fresh! I took my daughter out for a nice dinner! I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. It is fine dining at it's best, and the portions were very generous unlike some other fine dining restaurants that I have been to. It was served with potatoes, grilled zucchini, and tomatoes. However, I had a short rib that was only served with two partiially cooked onions and a few outside leaves of Brussels sprouts. The meat was so fatty I was unable to eat it. I had to eat when I went home. I never returny dish to the kitchen. If this was my first visit, I would not go back. Had to ask twice for limes for sparkling water. Ordered a pasta dish and was served a risotto dish which was taken back. Bill was for risotto dish instead of pasta dish. Along with the bill came a plate with 3 dollops of whipped cream, fruit and Happy 16th Birthday written in chocolate on the plate...candle and all. There were some slight delays in getting food to the table, and I could see how this could be an issue at times when they are busier. Excellent menu and cocktail selections. Wine list had some very good values, if you do some homework in advance. Grilled rib eye steak was closer to medium than the medium-rare ordered, but was still juicy and tender on the inside. Incredibly fresh, locally sourced oysters. Nice spins on traditional fried calamari (added shrimp) and fried mozzarella (wrapped in prosciutto).
