Chapel GrillGreat Naples AdditionThis was our first visit to the Chapel Grill. Although we arrived about 20 minutes before our reserved time, the hostess sat us right away. Our waiter was very attentive without being intrusive. We started with the duck spring rolls as an appetizer. I'd recommend them, really good. I had the snapper and my husband had the cod. Although we thought the cod was better, both dishes were excellent and the presentation of the food was beautifully done. The only thing we didn't like were the rolls. The architecture was interesting as it had been a chapel and it was wonderful to see it updated and made into a restaurant. Valet parking was a plus for us too. Had the risotto - yum! Also the calamari and fish tacos . All great apps. The entrees can be formed by doubling an appetizer. The Florida Tomato Mozzarella Tier was unusually great. I expected the usual dish, but there was something extra good about it. The day boat scallops were outstanding. On our first visit in early December we ate inside and enjoyed the evening very much. Thursday evening we ate outside on the northwest side of the restaurant and it was very pleasant. Our server was very attentive and very pleasant. Each member of our party of four chose a different meal and each enjoyed their meal and the presentation was very nice. We had the salmon and the pork tenderloin. It was a special Gulfshore Playhouse menu.
Our service was also outstanding. Stephanie was great along with the food runners.

We arrived a few minutes late for our reservation, but were seated immediately. Wait staff was friendly, we never felt rushed. Our cocktails were just right, and noticing what was being served around us, we will certainly make room next time for a wedge salad and other appetizers. We split shrimp cocktail among four of us, which I haven't had lately. Shrimp were fresh, not overcooked, dried out, nor abnormally large. The homemade cocktail sauce was the best I've ever had.
