"I was turned onto Chapada from a family friend who was talking about the Brazilian cuisine. Since I had been lucky enough to indulge in such food, I was excited to learn that a place had been built in Wichita. The building was exquisite but that is where the appeal ended. The waitress was poorly trained and that was irritating because the menu was somewhat difficult to follow and she was not able to answer questions. The "salad bar" was not stellar and some of the presentations were unappetizing. Chapada’s main dish the Churrascaria consists of 7 different meats that were lackluster and grisly. If I am going to spend $30 on a meal, I expect something fantastic. This restaurant has the base to be amazing, they just need to make improvements."

"We all ordered the Churrascaria. Meat was excellent. Just wished they would have come around with it a little more frequent. Food/salad bar was outstanding but would have liked more hot side options. Bar drinks were all very good. Overall very good and will return."

"My husband and I fell in love with Brazilian Grill style restaurants a few years ago. Although Chapata is not our favorite, we will definitely go again. I would say that the one thing I think they could improve on with the Churriscaria was to have something on the table that you can flip over for the waiter to see that you do not want any more meats at that time and then flip over again to show that your table is ready for more meats. Because there was nothing like this, the waiters were constantly interrupting our table conversation by bring meats. Overall this was a very nice restaurant and we will use it for special occasions (the prices are a bit high, but you do get your moneys worth)."

"The food was good, not a huge selection on the salad bar, but enough to try. With a few little touches it could be a great date place - dim the lights a bit, candle on the table, some music. The gauchos were a little lax getting started, but once we mentioned to the waitress, they were attentive. I have been to another that had a red/green coaster to signal the gauchos, rather then to have them stop by when you really wanted to enjoy dinner, talk to companions, or take a little break. Food was pretty good and smells wonderful!"
