Diner Reviews
  • "I expected more from this restaurant considering the hype. It was much smaller than I expected. I visited the restaurant with a bride and her bridesmaids and their mothers. One of the young men told the girls to come back for the nightclub experience at 10:00 PM. When they returned, they discovered that there was a cover charge of $40, even though the girls received wrist bands from the waiter at dinner. Needless to say, they did not stay. Also, at dinner, the waiter was businesslike, but nice. The girls were expecting a fun, energetic restaurant to help them celebrate the upcoming wedding, but were very disappointed in the atmosphere. They were expecting a friendlier staff and a fun time, but it didn't happen."

  • "Very much enjoyed both the food, the service, and the atmosphere of our experience. The staff made us feel like a VIP even though we were just a regular table"

  • "The food was surprisingly good, the service seemed decent... at first. Our group of 11 was told they could only have 5 checks per table. The checks were paid with one card per check. 30 min after the credit cards had been given to the waitress she returned and had charged the credit cards with the wrong tickets. When asked to fix it, she was gone for another 20 min and did not fix it at all. FINALLY the manager was called and it took over 45 min to correct the check. 1 complimentary drink was given, to the remaining 3 left (the rest of the party had moved on). My bank account is still showing the incorrect charge ($46 more than my original ticket) and a few of the others in the party have several charges from Saints & Sinners."

  • "Great food and drinks and the staff was wonderful! Will definitely come again next time we're in New Orleans!"

  • "This unique and fun restaurant is a hidden gem right off of Bourbon Street! Our table was ready at the reservation time, and the host and waiter were both very accommodating! Our waiter, Chris, couldn't have done a better job! Very friendly, and recommended meals according to our taste as well as drinks. The atmosphere was more of a Burlesque feel, but nothing too extreme. I would recommend this restaurant to couples, groups of friends, and women of all ages! The food was very tasty! I suggest the bbq shrimp over grits and also the crawfish pie! They were excellent! We returned to the restaurant around 11:00 p.m. to party with friends in the upstairs bar area. The DJ was awesome! Awesome shots and drinks!!! Definitely worth a visit!"

  • "We arrived right before our reservation time and were taken straight to a very nice table on the second floor. The atmosphere was very nice and I liked the burlesque club feel. The decor was very nice. Our food came out in a very timely manner and the staff was very nice and courteous. Would definitely eat here again if I find myself back in New Orleans."

  • "We chose this restaurant for dinner one night for my sister's bachelorette party. Our server was Chris and he was outstanding. He took extremely good care of us and made us laugh. The food was decent but it didn't matter at this point since we were having a blast."

  • "Had a reservation for a bachelorette party (10 ladies)! Everything was amazing! The service was fantastic! Food was delicious! Will definitely come back when we visit New Orleans again!"

  • "Great food. Service not the best. Drinks were good."

  • "My bachelorette party (group of 6) loved this restaurant! The atmosphere was fun, we were sat upstairs where two other bachelorette parties were. We felt very VIP. The manager came by our table more than twice to check on us. Customer service, impeccable! The food was hot, the waitress was personable, and the chicken sandwhich and sweet potato tator tots were to die for. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who would enjoy a delicious meal (reasonably priced, too) and fun atmosphere. They made us feel like princesses!"

  • "We went there for a girls night before a concert and had a great time! The waitress was amazing, and the bartender was good too! The desserts were divine (especially the chocolate tort mmmmmm) but I did feel the portion of the entrees should be a little larger for the price. We did the Party Bags and that just made it even more fun!"

  • "Although not a large selection of food on the menu the food we had was delicious and well prepared. Red beans and rice were great but the Red Velvet Chocolate cake was the bomb! "

  • "We dined outside. It was my first time to louisiana, and especially bourbon street. Loved the vibe i got from the waiter. Everyone seemed so happy."

  • "Lie after lie! After making the reservation - requesting for the 2nd floor, which we called 2 times to confirm. We were seated on the 1st -whatever. Did not get silverware, plates or napkins until after the appetizers were eaten. Manager lied about were he was from (phony) waitress was a hot mess and her voice was got under our skin. We were a large party 13,she had no clue! She delivered the main course and forgot one entree, she stated that the meal was in the back, she could not fit it on the tray, so she would be right back. Moments later the manager tells us that the ordered was never placed. WTF, there was no reason to lie. Half of the table had worked in the food service industry - be honest. Lie after lie. One word appauled! "

  • "Went there for lunch and they were boiling fresh crawfish outside on the front terrasse. My wife had those and I had the jambalaya. terrific service and a great meal."

  • "I made reservations for dinner for a party of 7 girls for a bachelorette party and our experience was fantastic. The service from the moment we walked in until we left was top notch. We were moved to the VIP area to better accommodate us and were also given wrist bands to return later in the evening. Our waiter made sure we always had everything we needed even during late night hours. We couldn't have asked for a better waiter and bartender. I will be recommending saints and sinners to anyone visiting NOLA. "

  • "It was the place to be when we showed up for our dinner reservation. The staff was friendly and made sure we were comfortable. The food was good and the drinks even better. We went back late-night and enjoyed the VIP area. I can say it is indeed a great place for a 'girl's trip'."

  • "We arrived early for our 8:30pm reservation and was seated in the back. With prompting, we were moved to a better table. Many of the desired menu items were no longer available and the entrées we ordered tasted like they were sitting in the kitchen for hours. Although I ate very little of my pasta dish, the waiter never asked why or whether we enjoyed the meal. The alligator tail appetizer was admittedly very good. At 9:30pm, the tables around us were literally cleared away and the restaurant was preparing to change the venue to a nightclub. The waiter seemed relieved that we didn't order dessert."

  • "I booked this restaurant for my best friend's bachelorette party. I could not have made a better choice! The servers took very great care of her and made sure that her night started perfectly. I would definitely recommend this place for a girls' weekend or any other time you are on Bourbon."

  • "One guy went above and beyond--to see that we were taken care of. I had two out of town guests and he was excellent with them--I will return because of him and his efforts."

  • "Saints & Sinners was outstanding all around. Employees were all smiling, friendly, and went out of their way to help you. Good mix of food on the menu and the food was delicious. If you want to have fun, then this is the place to go on Bourbon Street! "

  • "Steele, our bartender, was amazing! He greeted us at the door and gave us wonderful service while we waited for our table to be set. Our service was excellent, the ambience was perfect for a Bachelorette trip, and the food was delicious! We will return upon our next visit to NOLA! "

  • "My Jambalaya was far too salty. Undercooked my wife's burger but made another . Service was very good. They had a wonderful piano player. We enjoyed listening to her. Food wasn't what i was expecting and the menu was limited."

  • "Loved the food! Bartender/ server very accommodating, fun, and friendly. Great place to dance and party as well. "

  • "This restaurant is the worst restaurant that I have been to in the French Quarter.. The service was horrible as we were seated then ignored for over 15 minutes. Then it took at least 15 minutes to get the drinks. Another ling wait before taking our order (no wait staff around to even ask). Our food arrived after another long wait....my dining partners came first and mine 10 minutes later. The food was mediocre at best.. There are numerous choices to eat in the French Quarter... stayaway from this one!"

  • "Food wasn't anything special. Mediocre at best. Bathrooms were nasty."

  • "I made a reservation for six, for a bachelorette party. We were treated immediately like VIP. Zack is the person to talk to. Zack set us up with VIP wristbands, bottle service and mixers on the front patio right on bourbon street. We met a bachelor party and they joined us! It was so much fun! Ask for Big Josh if the bride needs some personal attention! We even went back the next night, best idea to have our dinner there. If you are looking for a party, Saints and Sinners is were its at!!!"

  • "We had a terrible experience at a restaurant where we had a reservation, and ended up walking out without having even ordered our meal. Stuck for a place to go at 9:15 p.m., Open Table had available Saints and Sinners. We were seated immediately, and received excellent service throughout the dinner. The atmosphere is quirky and fun, and the menu was basic, good, and nothing to disappoint. It was surefire and kind of "saved the evening" related to the very poor experience we had at a nearby Jackson Square known restaurant (that'll receive a bad review elsewhere) that sure could take a lesson about good service from this new restaurant entry in the New Orleans scene."

  • "For my first trip to Bourbon Street, Saints & Sinners definitely fit the bill. It had all of the ambiance you would expect from a restaurant in New Orleans... fun and flirty. The food was amazing! The pork shanks were fabulous! I can't wait to go back!"

  • "I called ahead for reservations. Was no need. When we arrived besides a couple at the bar; we were the only diners. Very limited men-u. I ordered the burger & fries. I ordered the burger well-done; however, it arrived medium - well. They have branded their logo on the bun which made the otherwise soft bun too hard for my liking. The fries were hot and tasty. Took the waitress forever to refill our drinks. The music was way too loud and not my style. Decor was nice. Could be a winner with some changes."

  • "The staff at Saints snd Sinners were all super friendly and accommodating, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere casually elegant. Don't let the limited menu fool you!"

  • "The presentation of the food could've been done better. It was delicious but places on large plates with not much garnishment so it looked weird."
    Dined on 3/22/2014
  • "We made reservations for dinner before the night out on Bourbon Street. I guess because it was early there weren't many people in the restaurant. The burgers were enormous and very tasty. Service was exceptional. Thanks for a great dinner."
    Dined on 3/22/2014
  • "Our server was great and the food was good. I had the shrimp and grits (noted on the menu as Channing's favorite). The shrimp was fantastic, however the grits was slightly bland, but the barbecue sauce that is drizzled over it added a little more flavor. The drink menu looks fantastic, just wish the menu offered a bit more."

  • "Our waitress was great! Super nice/super friendly. Ambiance fit well with the Bourbon street scene. Bordello fun and wild! We had a great girls' night out. However, food was just "ok". I suggest you eat at a better restaurant and head to Saints & Sinners for the wild after party. (PS: Washrooms are not clean so be prepared for that.)"

  • "This is a unique restaurant on Bourbon Street. The decor and the ambience fit the location, and so does the food. The service was very good, and all of the staff were very friendly. This was a fun place to eat in a fun part of the city."

  • "When searching for dining opportunities in NOLA Saints & Sinners came across my search and led me to believe this was a happening dining spot. I was entertaining a customer and to my surprise there was a stripper pole in what they call the dining room. This is not a proper Restaurant but a bar with a dinnermenu. The waiter actually chuckled when I asked for a wine list. The wait staff was very friendly and the food wasn't bad, however, this is by no means a place to dine. Sorry Channing, luv your work, but the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired."
