Diner Reviews
  • "Smallish menu but done fairly well. Good wines at reasonable prices. I had the bar-b-que shrimp and grits. Most of the shrimp were soggy and a few were firm as they should be. Very bland. I don't recommend the dish because the shrimp were so disappointing. The grits were superb, and the crostini was dry and could be mistaken for cardboard. My adult son had the red beans and muddy rice with sausage, which was very, very good. Chocolate dessert was excellent. Service was prompt and friendly."

  • "The ambiance was really nice, as well as customer service. We went for dinner on a Sunday night and it was slow, which we absolutely loved. I would definitely go back for a night life party:)"

  • "My first trip was back in February! When I was booked to come again in August I was to excited to return!! I had dreams about the crawfish potpie! So I made sure immediately after checking in at the hotel I came straight over here!"

  • "Food was good, the music was good. Although 2when I called to reserve the balcony I was told you only had to purchase one bottle for.bottle.service in the balcony an when I got there thy told me it was a 2 bottle minimum service, so we decided it wasn't worth it."

  • "Loved the VIP feel of dining upstairs while dance/bar fun went on downstairs. High energy was great follow up to our Red Dress Run day. Extremely thoughtful of restaurant to leave me a message letting us know about the craziness of Red Dress in case we were unaware! Limited menu made dining choices easy and prices were reasonable. Bangin' shrimp app, shrimp poboy, and burger were all delicious. Our group of 12 thoroughly enjoyed our dinner experience!"

  • "My family had looked forward to coming to your restaurant since it opened but we live 6+ hours away so it is not like we could just pick up & go. We chose New Orleans for our brief vaca for 2 reasons: the aquarium & this restaurant. The service was slow to nonexistent, the only food we ordered (crawfish pie) was burnt on the bottom, & for some reason, the female bartender looked at my teen daughter with a hateful glare. We had planned on staying and eating dinner but decided we had enough bad treatment and found a place across the road that sold awesome po-boys. They were able to wash out the bad taste your place left in my mouth. For an added slap in the face, the restaurant's page posted a pic of Tatum & wife dining there THE NEXT DAY."

  • "We went with our two young adult children. Had an early dinner (6:00 pm). The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed when we were there. Everything we had was very good. The burgers were delcious -- perfectly cooked and juicy, with a unique flavor. Highly recommend the macaroni and cheese and the red velvet cake...YUM!! The waitress was very attentive and pleasant. Have already recommended to friends who are coming next month!"

  • "Very good food prepared with care. Food came out lukewarm when it should have come out piping hot. Cool venue."

  • "The physical setting in an old house is different from the usual Bourbon St. eatery. The menu is limited w not a whole bunch to select. However, what they do have is very good. They will but together spots for groups of 6 or so and were very accomodating. Nice bar! Don't be afraid of the "ambiance"; it's fine for kids and teens before it gets late. The brass pole in the middle of the dining area may require some explaining though! Not a huge place so Open Table is a good way to be sure you have a spot. I'll go back."

  • "Loved the crawfish seasoning as well as the gumbo. Daughter had an excellent shrimp po boy. Sons craw fish Mac and cheese was very small. Very limited menu though. Needed more options."

  • "I would say overall I wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be. The overall feel of the restaurant was fun with great decor and the service was awesome. I had shrimp and grits and it was just okay- grits were too runny for my taste. However the others in our group loved their food am experience. I think it is a great place to have dinner on Bourbon St if you are looking for fun and casual."

  • "I expected more from this restaurant considering the hype. It was much smaller than I expected. I visited the restaurant with a bride and her bridesmaids and their mothers. One of the young men told the girls to come back for the nightclub experience at 10:00 PM. When they returned, they discovered that there was a cover charge of $40, even though the girls received wrist bands from the waiter at dinner. Needless to say, they did not stay. Also, at dinner, the waiter was businesslike, but nice. The girls were expecting a fun, energetic restaurant to help them celebrate the upcoming wedding, but were very disappointed in the atmosphere. They were expecting a friendlier staff and a fun time, but it didn't happen."

  • "Very much enjoyed both the food, the service, and the atmosphere of our experience. The staff made us feel like a VIP even though we were just a regular table"

  • "The food was surprisingly good, the service seemed decent... at first. Our group of 11 was told they could only have 5 checks per table. The checks were paid with one card per check. 30 min after the credit cards had been given to the waitress she returned and had charged the credit cards with the wrong tickets. When asked to fix it, she was gone for another 20 min and did not fix it at all. FINALLY the manager was called and it took over 45 min to correct the check. 1 complimentary drink was given, to the remaining 3 left (the rest of the party had moved on). My bank account is still showing the incorrect charge ($46 more than my original ticket) and a few of the others in the party have several charges from Saints & Sinners."

  • "This unique and fun restaurant is a hidden gem right off of Bourbon Street! Our table was ready at the reservation time, and the host and waiter were both very accommodating! Our waiter, Chris, couldn't have done a better job! Very friendly, and recommended meals according to our taste as well as drinks. The atmosphere was more of a Burlesque feel, but nothing too extreme. I would recommend this restaurant to couples, groups of friends, and women of all ages! The food was very tasty! I suggest the bbq shrimp over grits and also the crawfish pie! They were excellent! We returned to the restaurant around 11:00 p.m. to party with friends in the upstairs bar area. The DJ was awesome! Awesome shots and drinks!!! Definitely worth a visit!"

  • "We arrived right before our reservation time and were taken straight to a very nice table on the second floor. The atmosphere was very nice and I liked the burlesque club feel. The decor was very nice. Our food came out in a very timely manner and the staff was very nice and courteous. Would definitely eat here again if I find myself back in New Orleans."

  • "We chose this restaurant for dinner one night for my sister's bachelorette party. Our server was Chris and he was outstanding. He took extremely good care of us and made us laugh. The food was decent but it didn't matter at this point since we were having a blast."

  • "My bachelorette party (group of 6) loved this restaurant! The atmosphere was fun, we were sat upstairs where two other bachelorette parties were. We felt very VIP. The manager came by our table more than twice to check on us. Customer service, impeccable! The food was hot, the waitress was personable, and the chicken sandwhich and sweet potato tator tots were to die for. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who would enjoy a delicious meal (reasonably priced, too) and fun atmosphere. They made us feel like princesses!"

  • "We went there for a girls night before a concert and had a great time! The waitress was amazing, and the bartender was good too! The desserts were divine (especially the chocolate tort mmmmmm) but I did feel the portion of the entrees should be a little larger for the price. We did the Party Bags and that just made it even more fun!"

  • "Although not a large selection of food on the menu the food we had was delicious and well prepared. Red beans and rice were great but the Red Velvet Chocolate cake was the bomb! "

  • "Lie after lie! After making the reservation - requesting for the 2nd floor, which we called 2 times to confirm. We were seated on the 1st -whatever. Did not get silverware, plates or napkins until after the appetizers were eaten. Manager lied about were he was from (phony) waitress was a hot mess and her voice was got under our skin. We were a large party 13,she had no clue! She delivered the main course and forgot one entree, she stated that the meal was in the back, she could not fit it on the tray, so she would be right back. Moments later the manager tells us that the ordered was never placed. WTF, there was no reason to lie. Half of the table had worked in the food service industry - be honest. Lie after lie. One word appauled! "

  • "I made reservations for dinner for a party of 7 girls for a bachelorette party and our experience was fantastic. The service from the moment we walked in until we left was top notch. We were moved to the VIP area to better accommodate us and were also given wrist bands to return later in the evening. Our waiter made sure we always had everything we needed even during late night hours. We couldn't have asked for a better waiter and bartender. I will be recommending saints and sinners to anyone visiting NOLA. "

  • "It was the place to be when we showed up for our dinner reservation. The staff was friendly and made sure we were comfortable. The food was good and the drinks even better. We went back late-night and enjoyed the VIP area. I can say it is indeed a great place for a 'girl's trip'."

  • "We arrived early for our 8:30pm reservation and was seated in the back. With prompting, we were moved to a better table. Many of the desired menu items were no longer available and the entrées we ordered tasted like they were sitting in the kitchen for hours. Although I ate very little of my pasta dish, the waiter never asked why or whether we enjoyed the meal. The alligator tail appetizer was admittedly very good. At 9:30pm, the tables around us were literally cleared away and the restaurant was preparing to change the venue to a nightclub. The waiter seemed relieved that we didn't order dessert."

  • "I booked this restaurant for my best friend's bachelorette party. I could not have made a better choice! The servers took very great care of her and made sure that her night started perfectly. I would definitely recommend this place for a girls' weekend or any other time you are on Bourbon."

  • "Steele, our bartender, was amazing! He greeted us at the door and gave us wonderful service while we waited for our table to be set. Our service was excellent, the ambience was perfect for a Bachelorette trip, and the food was delicious! We will return upon our next visit to NOLA! "

  • "My Jambalaya was far too salty. Undercooked my wife's burger but made another . Service was very good. They had a wonderful piano player. We enjoyed listening to her. Food wasn't what i was expecting and the menu was limited."

  • "This restaurant is the worst restaurant that I have been to in the French Quarter.. The service was horrible as we were seated then ignored for over 15 minutes. Then it took at least 15 minutes to get the drinks. Another ling wait before taking our order (no wait staff around to even ask). Our food arrived after another long wait....my dining partners came first and mine 10 minutes later. The food was mediocre at best.. There are numerous choices to eat in the French Quarter... stayaway from this one!"
