Watching an amazing scarlet sunset over South Lake Union from our window seating was a great beginning to our meal. The Ahi Poke filled my mouth with the simple flavors combined to perfection. The salmon was delicately cooked to a medium rare- keeping it moist - and lightly spiced allowing the unique flavors of the fish to be enjoyed. And the Key Lime Pie!!!! When it is done this well it cannot be described, only enjoyed. The wait staff was attentive but never hovered. The pace of the meal was perfect and allowed us to enjoy both the conversation and the meal. We will remember this evening as one of our best dinning experiences.

My friends and I dined during SRW and menu options looked delicious! The Ahi Tartare appetizer was the highlight of the night followed by the Molten Brownie dessert. I did not like the flavor of my steak. It was cooked well and tender but seasoned inappropriately. Plenty of salt and pepper with a tasteless brown sauce that had sour notes and garnished with greasy, over caramelized onions. Perhaps only the seafood would be good at Chandler's and not the steak. I should have chosen the Linguine Vongole instead.

I have always known that Chandler's Crabhouse is a fantastic place to go for seafood during the warm months when you can sit out on the water and watch the seaplanes land and take off, but that seems to be about the only reason to go. The meals are expensive, and though the portions are large, they are bland. I had the filet mignon and "world's best crab cake" combo. My girlfriend had the wild salmon + crab cake combo. Both plates had the largest piece of respective meats I've seen, which is usually a positive. However, the salmon, black rice risotto, crab cakes, and Yukon mashed potatoes (served with my meat) were all flavorless. All for $53 per plate. My filet was also charred, leaving a burnt aftertaste. They did replace it.

Booked for a Seattle Restaurant Week lunch thru open table to find there was no lunch special. Normally not a big deal, but was dining with a NGO nonprofit board member, of a group that feeds the homeless and does work on the Reservation. So, I think it went over their planned budget. Would have appreciated a call since we booked thru the restaurant week website and they wanted to treat us. Would appreciate more accurate listings, or notification.

I'm not a crab fan, but took my wife here for her birthday. I figured I'd be OK ordering fish, but was disappointed w/ the "Seared Ahi Tuna." It wasn't seared, it was cooked all the way through. Also, there was a breading on the tuna, that didn't fit. Imagine a cross between mozzarella sticks & canned tuna - that's what this was. On the positive side - my wife was happy with her king crab legs. So maybe stick with that.

Took some out of town guests with a variety of palats and everyone found an item to their liking on the menu. The french toast was highly acclaimed at the table and I had the eggs Chandlers which were wonderful. The brunch was reasonably priced and a terrific value for such an upscale restaurant with a beautiful view.

This place is a bit a tourist trap in my mind. The seafood is much more expensive then in other places in Seattle and really nothing special. Had the crab cake and New York strip. Crab cake was decent but the steak clearly way below decent steakhouses in texture. Service was friendly Would not go back.

We have been to Chandlers many times. Great place to take people from out of town. Tables by the windows give a great view of the lake and the float planes landing. Food is always good. Order the mac and cheese as a side dish...great. Brian, our waiter, was good but his hands looked like he worked all day at Pikes Place market hauling fish before coming to this job.

I know this is a "crabhouse" but I had the Filet and I have to say that it was one of the best cooked pieces of meat I've ever had. There was an older lady on the grill that night, and let me tell you, she knew what she was doing. The prices were a little high on some of the items, and the crab cakes their known for were just good.. Nothing great.. Overall I was satisfied with this place and would return.

Every time I have out of town guests, or even sometimes when I don't, Chandlers is a must-do. The food is always incredible, and so is the service. The restaurant more so than the bar I discovered this last visit. The restaurant is always a home run, hit out of the park. So delicious. I had the Cioppino this time, our AWESOME servers recommendation, and she paired the perfect wine. Shoot. I want to go back right now!

When making this OpenTable reservation I mentioned that it was our 60th wedding anniversary. And Chandler's made it special, from the moment we were greeted by the hostess and our waiter with "Happy Anniversary," to the best table in the house right by the windows overlooking the water, to complimentary creme brulee. Outstanding live Dungeness crab (well worth the price of $43 for half a crab), excellent service, a colorful sunset and 'live entertainment' provided by sailboats and seaplanes vying for right-of-way on Lake Union made this a perfect evening and one of the most memorable dinners we have ever had anywhere in the world.

Our party of four each ordered a different dish and each of us was greatly pleased...DELICIOUS all around the table! It was, however, too noisy for easy conversation which was too bad for us as we hadn't seen each other for years and were hoping to do some catching up. The noise level made that difficult at best.

I decided to go here because one of my friends suggested it. The service was very great, and probably a strong reason to go back. My food took longer than expected but the view was nice. My main dish was way too salty and my only regret is I felt like I'd hurt someone's feelings complaining but I should have. Way too salty. They made up for the food taking so long though which was nice. Because of the high ceilings it gets very loud. Overall I liked it and next time I'll speak up if there's an issue because we spent enough that it should be perfect. Best blackberry sorbet ever.

I had been to Chandlers several years ago and very much enjoyed their crab dishes. Being from the East Coast, I was looking forward to the Dungeness crab particularly. The menu had the crab and I ordered the crab cake that the waiter said was the best anywhere. My wife ordered the smaller cake and he kind of made a decision for me and said, well you want the dinner portion, so I said yes. The dish was good but when I saw the bill I nearly fell over...$42 for a crab cake!!? The entire bill was very high and we hardly had anything else to speak of...will pass next time on my visit to Seattle and find another restaurant.

Chandler's Crab House was a wonderful quiet dining experience, though we were part of the early crowd. Raw appetizers were amazing. The Hot Tower was the bomb! Clam Chowder is best in Seattle! Desserts fantastic. Mac and Cheese side for $19 is good, but 2 of the three at table would not order it again. Great service and beautiful view.
