Our party of four each ordered a different dish and each of us was greatly pleased...DELICIOUS all around the table! It was, however, too noisy for easy conversation which was too bad for us as we hadn't seen each other for years and were hoping to do some catching up. The noise level made that difficult at best.

My visiting East-Coast friend wanted Northwest crab, and Chandlers was a good choice. She enjoyed her Dungeness crab. I don't eat seafood, and the menu items for me were very limited. The flatiron steak was tender but the mustard glaze was overpowering.

I decided to go here because one of my friends suggested it. The service was very great, and probably a strong reason to go back. My food took longer than expected but the view was nice. My main dish was way too salty and my only regret is I felt like I'd hurt someone's feelings complaining but I should have. Way too salty. They made up for the food taking so long though which was nice. Because of the high ceilings it gets very loud. Overall I liked it and next time I'll speak up if there's an issue because we spent enough that it should be perfect. Best blackberry sorbet ever.

I had been to Chandlers several years ago and very much enjoyed their crab dishes. Being from the East Coast, I was looking forward to the Dungeness crab particularly. The menu had the crab and I ordered the crab cake that the waiter said was the best anywhere. My wife ordered the smaller cake and he kind of made a decision for me and said, well you want the dinner portion, so I said yes. The dish was good but when I saw the bill I nearly fell over...$42 for a crab cake!!? The entire bill was very high and we hardly had anything else to speak of...will pass next time on my visit to Seattle and find another restaurant.

Service was fine, ambiance what one would expect, however, the price seems a bit steep for the portion size. In this case, a Caesar Salad with a little crab for $19, a little pricey for the very small salad you get.

Chandler's Crab House was a wonderful quiet dining experience, though we were part of the early crowd. Raw appetizers were amazing. The Hot Tower was the bomb! Clam Chowder is best in Seattle! Desserts fantastic. Mac and Cheese side for $19 is good, but 2 of the three at table would not order it again. Great service and beautiful view. Fun to watch a September storm roll in across the lake. Would definitely eat there again for a special occasion!

Recent girls day out, I took my friend who'd never been to Seattle (from CA.) we LOVED the view, food and service. Only negative is, the Caesar (crab) salad was skimpy on the crab. However, the crab cakes and Hawaiian ahi tuna were to die for. I was a bit surprised to receive it in large chunks tho, would've liked it sliced for us. STILL worth ordering! I'm coming back!

Our first visit, and we were treated well from start to finis. The greeting at the door is warm and friendly, the hostess engages in chitchat when seating guests, the waiter was excellent with recommendations and checking on us, and random staff all wished us a good night as we passed them on our way out. The view is wonderful, and the food was great, which was a bonus as I had my visiting mother-in-law with us, who is used to eating seafood on the Gulf Coast (originally from Houston). The Whiskey Dungeness Crab Soup was great, as was the crab rockefeller, and the desserts were huge! There were hidden booths that I passed by that looked perfect for a romantic dinner date as well. Only wish is that the parking would be comped.

Maria was our waitress the other night. Speaking for my date as well, I can honestly say she was one of the best waitresses I can recall ever having. She was energetic, witty, and incredibly friendly. We obviously loved the scenic views of the water front on a beautiful summer evening, the food, and drinks list, but we both felt great and very comfortable having Maria as our server. She was professional yet charming and was very knowledgeable about anything concerning the food or beverage menus. Maria was fantastic! I'd assume she gets tons of these rave reviews but I wanted to give me 2 cents and let her know we really appreciated her! Tell her thank you from us! - Lu and Sara

Been here several times in the past and always loved the food but after this dining experience, we will not be ever coming back! Took at least 10 minutes + for someone to bring us some water. The guy who brought us water did not smile at all or even say hello. Server showed up 5 minutes later. Nice guy but didn't seem too interested in helping us. Drinks came out after our food was delivered and were lukewarm. Not even cold! Food wasn't hot either. Server never asked us if we needed anything or how our food was. I receive better service at my local ivars.

I felt like it was an occasion for staff to show off their food. We had a lovely evening. And we are now loyal crab Rockefeller lovers. And the crab and artichoke dip is excellent. Dans steak was perfect. My crab cakes were perfect. Life is good at chandlers cove. Allyson

Completely disappointed in the service provided by Brian at Chandlers. Brian appeared to go out of his way to be sarcastic the entire meal. The only value he brought to the meal was his knowledge of oysters. The food was good and would only recommend it because of that, but would warn people of the service.

The service was excellent, view was great, food very good. Only disappointment was the Dungeness crab cakes. They list them as the worlds best, but being a fan of Baltimore crab cakes, they fell short. The salmon was a little too salty, but cooked to perfection. Had an heirloom tomatoe salad that was extremely refreshing. Service was awesome. Would easily go back, just wouldn't order the crab cakes.
