Myself, my husband and his sister, had a great dinner! She stayed the night at Marriott. And is also a Marriott employee from CA. We all met up (in the quieter area on the left just before the bar section.) It was perfect...we could relax and talk. The wait staff we had were wonderful and we had a very nice visit!!!!

I have been at this place many time, however last time was a disappointment. We went to watch a soccer game but the tv volume was so low that it was like seing the game in a library. Then our waitress ( a lady in her 50s) was very unfriendly and did not care much about our table.

You get in and get out. Service is timely, accurate and always very friendly. No complaints ever about the food; its done right and as requested. One person in our party said that the shrimp and bacon salad was excellent; very fresh and crisp. Seasoning is always right here, nothing sharp or strong just right. Drinks are refilled promptly. Quiet service and bright room makes it a convenient location for a casual business lunch.

The food choices were unique and interesting. The service was quite attentive. It felt more like a gastropub than a sports bar. The only thing they could use more of is more beer options.

$25 for food plus $20 to park (restaurant doesn't validate parking in hotel garage) = $45 for chicken on a bun, clam chowder, desert and ice tea. Next time I am willing to spend $45 for lunch I will take the T to the Taj hotel.

If you're looking to watch any sporting event, this is a good spot. It's connected to the Marriott and the Kendall Square T-stop is right outside the door as well -- super easy to get to if you don't have a car. The food is mediocre bar food that you would pretty much expect ... although I wish it was better because I would definitely come back if it was!

The food was great, but the service was not! After my order, the server disappeared - never came back! No refills on my beverage (ice tea). A different server saw that I had nothing to drink, asked if I would like some more tea, I said yes, he took my glass, and he never came back. I have no idea what happened to these people. I finally was able to get a different server to get my check so I could leave. The food was very good, but not the service!!!

    OpenTable Diner Since 2007

We were greeted and seated immediately with a smile. After the 4th or 5th waiter passed our table, we finally had one stop and take our drink orders. This took 15 to 20 minutes. Another decent amount of time went when another waiter (not the original one that brought our drinks) noticed we were twiddling our thumbs and came over to take our food order. A third waiter brought our food (which was hot and above average). Close to another hour went by when our original waiter returned. He said, "I'm sorry, we have one big group that is monopolizing my time." Too bad the restaurant was 30 - 40% occupied at the time with no big groups. We were truly disappointed. We're easy to please so dont take this as an "over critical" review. Desert was good

The food is soemwhat better-than-average informal bar/grill food, but any lack there is made up for by the friendly service and eagerness to please. Located within the Cambridge Marriott, it also has a good breakfast buffet with eggs to order, etc., that is usually overlooked by those not staying at the hotel; it should be more popular.

It was pretty empty for a Saturday evening, so got to sit where we wanted and watch the game we requested. (Really wasn't a big sports night). Since area is kind of empty on weekends, might be more fun during a big event, or during a work night. (Unlike Champions Copley which is usually FULL of action, especially for big events.) Food and waiter were very good. Will come back when there is more "action"

Of note was the fact that the menu in the restaurant bore very little resemblance to the menu on the website. There were some specific items that I was looking forward to having as choices. Once I got over that disappointment, the food and the drinks turned out to be very good. The atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired, and it was cold where we were sitting.

Upon arriving the valet was a friendly and kind man. I had forgotten my phone in the car and he had no problem helping me retrieve it. Then as I arrived to the 2nd floor we were greeted by the friendly host. The table was comfortable and the nature light was as if we were sitting outside. Our waitress was informative and right "on it". When we finished our drinks, she was right there refilling them. The setup of the brunch was comfortable and roomy. No one bumping into you or waiting. There were many selections and everyone found something they liked but, my party liked it all. Overall, a very happy Mother's Day and Mom loved it! I would go back for a regular brunch or a holiday again as well. I recommend MC2 to everyone.

MC^2 is a great place for lunch with your co-workers. The food is pretty good, and the service is prompt. It has a naturally well-lit, open atmosphere. There is no wall separating the hotel's upper hall and the restaurant (which I like). It's also a good spot to bring interview candidates to lunch.

Service was, as usual, excellent. The prices are much better than other local options for breakfast and the hours are great for folks who work on weekdays (they open early b/c they're in a hotel). We went again on the 21st, and there were a few minor glitches. First, there was no one checking in reservations, so I doubt we'll ever get our OpenTable points (of course, who makes reservations for breakfast besides me?). Second, the egg white frittata came with onions which were not listed as being one of the ingredients on the menu.

I keep coming back here for business meetings. A much more pleasant place for a quiet conversation than the other magnet in Cambridge Center, Legals. The breakfast buffet is a great value. The lunch menu offers a wide variety of food that is surprisingly good for a business hotel restaurant, especially the salads. I would recommend the BBQ chicken salad and the crab cake sandwich, which is my favorite. Service is extremely friendly but sometimes a bit slow when it comes to bringing the check.
