We love this place! My boyfriend
and I went with another couple and had a blast! The only complaint is that by the time we got to our 8:15 reservation the bar was already out of 2 drinks and both the salad and dessert we ordered were out."

The ambiance was great, but the
food on the other hand was not good! It took a really long time for our main course to come out. My husband and I shared the rib eye and shoe string fries. After waiting about 45 minutes for our food, we got it cold. By that point I was starving and wanted to send it back but was sure I was going to experience another long wait. For the price you pay in this place, its not worth it. Our dining experience was very disappointing."

This is our second brunch, and our
love for Chambers Eat + Drink just grows and grows. Between the two of us, my husband and I have now tasted 6 items from Brunch and every single one was AMAZING. We are beginning to wonder if it's possible for this kitchen to disappoint us. Our biggest fear at this point is that Chambers will go all froufy and super popular on us, and we won't be able to get a table anymore, let alone afford it. Please don't ever change!!!!"

drinks were great, good n spicy
bloody mary. eggs royale were fantastic, but could use a little more caviar as a salty element. friend loved the pork belly. we will come again, but not at night, since the hipster element is in overdrive lately."
Dined on 2/9/2014
The place is gorgeous and that was
the only good thing about it. I read the menu online beforehand, although the ingredients were diff and fresh (not your normal brunch food), it wasn't knocking my socks off. We had the tofu hash, quinoa salad and pork belly. I would def recommend the pork belly. And of course the bottomless mimosa. It def had more OJ than was needed and it would have been nice to be topped off before they closed. The server didn't bother letting us know they were closing, so we had to leave. I had high hopes of the place, but its still worth one try."

Delicious food, trendy, hip
atmosphere are a given but the surprise was the kind and caring service. My 18 year old daughter had surgery a month before our brunch here and had to be careful what she ate. Though she thought she has ordered carefully she didn't understand what the ingredient farrow was. Not being something she could digest, she was going to try to eat around it. The very kind server offered to replace the dish to accommodate her. We were touched at this consideration."

This is our new favorite
restaurant. We live two blocks away and are kicking ourselves for all the lost time that we could have been eating amazing food in an amazing setting with fabulous service! My husband and I came for dinner two nights ago and were so blown away that we invited a couple of friends to brunch this morning. Everyone loved it so much that one of our friends is already planning on having his birthday dinner here. I'm not going to go into details of the dishes we ate, because it will take too long- between husband and I we have now tasted 6 plates plus dessert and every single one of them was a delight not only to eat, but also to look at. Very inventive flavors, perfectly sized portions, ROCKING drinks! Do not miss!"

Chambers is an oasis in the
Tenderloin. HOping more great places will open nearby. The walk to and from the restaurant can be scary. But the hotel and restaurant are welcoming, warm and fun. Great food!"
Dined on 1/25/2014
This restaurant was full of
surprises. It's in an unlikely location, within the Phoenix Hotel in the Tenderloin neighborhood. Initially, we walked right passed the door, which has no sign. Once inside, we loved the funky decor. The walls are constructed of vinyl record collections. Seating was comfortable and cozy. People were also eating outside by the hotel pool. The cocktails and food were delicious. Our salad was a visual work of art and just as tasty. Don't miss the house-made tater tots. The steak and burger were also excellent."
Dined on 1/24/2014
I would definitely recommend
Chambers. Menu isn't huge but there is something for everyone. Neighborhood is sketchy so just be aware of that if you are walking to it. Use Uber to get there."

I have been wanting to try this
place for a while the reviews have been widely excellent. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgable, and the food was fantastic. Took 2 friends that live outside of SF, and we had the the tri-tip, ribeye, red quinoa salad, butternut squash & brussell sprouts. All of which we delicious. I would give the service 5 starts except we kinda felt rushed toward the end with the check. This might have had something to do with the fact that the night time crowd was starting to fill up the bar, after all our reservation was for 8pm on a saturday."

The vibe is really cool here, both
during the day and at night!"
Dined on 10/19/2013
We went to Chambers for brunch
because they take reservations and we didn't feel like standing in line. The restaurant had a lot of open tables and we chose to sit outside by the pool. There were heat lamps to make it comfortable for us. The food was great, but a little bit on the pricier side. The taste and presentation definitely reflected the price, as almost everything was delicious and looked very nice. The service was great, despite us sitting outside. The waiter was attentive and didn't forget about us. Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely go back."
Dined on 1/5/2014
Creative, savory menu. The pork
belly breakfast was to die for. Love the restaurant layout and the outdoor area."
Dined on 1/5/2014
The sambal in the bloody Mary's
brought me right back to Bali. We had the egg in a hole and coffee cake which were both fantastic. My friend had the hangover hash and said it was beyond amazing. Staff was super fun and friendly! Great way to start the New Year!"
Dined on 1/1/2014
My girlfriend brought me here as
an extra special surprise, and the food, decoration, attention and ambience made it an absolutely fantastic experience! Signed, A happy boyfriend"
Dined on 12/21/2013
Food is great, but not worth the
huge wait. We arrived on-time for our reservation, but were seated about 20 minutes late while numerous empty tables sat in the dining room. We found out, from our waitress, that the host was stalling for the kitchen. We were told the kitchen was behind due to a large party. We were surprised to find out "large" meant a table of about 12 people. The solution was to suggest that we order more food, to come out sooner than our entrees. The food, when it finally arrived, was great. But we'd snacked on a couple appetizers, and brunch time had come and gone - so we didn't have a huge appetite for the main course. By the time the check came, we were chomping at the bit to leave. We don't expect to return."

Found this restaurant after a long
day of traveling. Pulled up in front of a motel and wondered if I made a mistake. Turned the corner to find the entrance and a gem awaited us inside. Wonderful service, a great wine and cocktail list, and amazing food cured my travel exhaustion. The small plates were not only exceptional, they were prepared in a manner I've never seen (powdered bacon?). Loved everything about this place!"
Dined on 12/4/2013
An undiscovered gem in TL and
never with a line for brunch."
Dined on 11/24/2013
This place was absolutely
delicious and we also felt cool being there!"
Dined on 11/16/2013
We come to Chambers once a month,
but for the first time the food wasn't outstanding any more. It is still very good, but the Brussels sprouts which were once set apart from any Brussels sprouts in Bay Area were just good Brussels sprouts, the pork belly wasn't at just the right cattiness anymore and some of the less mainstream items disappeared from the menue all together."
Dined on 11/22/2013
This is my 3rd visit to Chambers.
The burger with pork belly is amazing. The tri tip is good too. We were given drinks on the house on account of a long wait. We didn't think it took that long to get our drinks but we appreciated the apology. The coffee cake is fantastic."
Dined on 11/8/2013
Great for a nice night out.
Energetic, fun and great drinks. Staff is very friendly and efficient. I like how it can be dressy, but not snobby. Good date spot!"
Dined on 11/8/2013
Went here last minute for brunch
on a Sunday. The good was really good, as we're the mimosas and bloody marys, but the service was horrible. Our waitress all but forgot about us and we had to ask for service. With all the great brunch spots in the city having just good food is not enough to make me return. I think I'll just stick to happy hour at Chambers."
Dined on 11/10/2013
The neighbourhood presents a
challenge to some. The Tenderloin District has many street people and this can be unpleasant. However, once you arrive you will be treated to a fantastic restaurant and nightclub. The server was engaging, the ambiance of the restaurant makes you want to stay all evening. The food took a little longer than I expected, but it was delicious, creatively presented, and fresh. I will definitely return. Noise level moderate mid week, but it's a nightclub on weekends."
Dined on 10/30/2013
Great, creative menu with seasonal
influence! Everything we tried was fantastic. Cool vibe and cosy at same time. Definitely will go back with friends."
Dined on 10/20/2013
If you're out drinking and want a
place to have some nice food and a fancy cocktail, this is the spot. Burger with avocado and pork belly was delicious, the ahi was solid, brussel sprouts simple but nice, and whatever else we got worked as well. I don't put this on par with any of the top restaurants in SF, but it's surprisingly good for what is essentially bar food."
Dined on 10/18/2013
I love the food and atmosphere at
Chambers. I have only ever been for brunch, but I can never decide what to get because everything on the menu sounds amazing. I have now ordered both the Egg In A Hold and the Egg Sandwich and have left feeling full and happy. The bottomless mimosas on Saturdays are also a nice touch. The atmosphere at Chambers is fun and funky with the cool rock theme and feeling you are sitting in some rockstar or music lover's private den. You can also sit outside and dine in the sun overlooking the pool at the Phoenix Hotel, making you feel like you've left the city and are resorting somewhere far and away. I definitely recommend this place if you want a great brunch and don't want to wait 2 hours to get into Brenda's."
Dined on 10/12/2013
Can't get enough of the Kobe beef
on the hot stone. I'm tempted to order 2 or 3 and just call it a day! Now to start working my way through the cocktail menu. So far the first three have been fantastic!"
Dined on 10/13/2013
Food was delicious and unique,
perfect sunny San Francisco day, mimosa was tasty (and heavy pour). I'd go back (again and again)."
Dined on 9/29/2013
Great outdoor brunch spot. The
French Toast was quite sweet which the waiter did mention. They weren't super on top of the bottomless mimosas. Really perfect for a warm day to sit by the pool. The pork belly was meh, not the best I'd ever had but ok."
Dined on 9/28/2013
Absolutely loved the tater tots,
small bites steak, hamburger and their signature drinks! Waitress was very sweet and helped with recommendations. Super fun and friendly. I can't wait to go back!"
Dined on 9/7/2013
everything was so good, including
the cocktails. i had the #12 cocktail, jalapeno infused vodka with cucumber. it was a great combo. the duck as a main course was excellent."
Dined on 9/1/2013
We were in town for a convention
(vmworld) and stop by. Great place, great food, good wine list. Bar section a bit small and was full around 11h. We'll surely go back next year!"
Dined on 8/30/2013
Food at Chambers was outstanding
and did not disappoint. Our server was friendly and efficient but not overbearing - basically there when we needed but not the hovering type. Back to the food. Its truly surprising to have such an amazing foodie oriented experience in the middle of the TL. Every dish was expertly prepared and presented. Flavors were well balanced with some very interesting combos. The portions are on the small side but seem very consistent with other restaurants I would consider to be in this group. The surrounding area is a bit sketch, but I think that only ads to the uniqueness of the experience."
Dined on 8/28/2013
We were quickly sat when we
arrived and surprised to find the restaurant t still quite full even at 10p. It stayed so until close to 1a! Service was sharp and consistent with our last visit. It had been a while and many of our favorite menu items had been replaced. The Kobe on the stone is still a huge favorite and loved the new blue fin tuna!"
Dined on 8/25/2013
We were here on a Friday night and
from order to getting the food on our table took an hour. It arrived just as we were about to leave. The burgers were great but the lamb was only so-so, very fatty to the point of not being edible. Even the olives, which we ordered as an appetizer, were very good but we had to ask about them because they took so long to come out. Olives."
Dined on 8/17/2013
The food was excellent, and
decently priced. I just wished their coffee came in larger quantities."
Dined on 8/3/2013
This place is great for drinks and
the ambiance is great but the food is severely lacking flavor! We were extremely disappointed and will definitely not be returning nor recommending this establishment."
Dined on 8/3/2013
Good good. Not a lot of options.
But very well done. I'd appreciate more options. And I'd say the drinks are very good. Love the outdoor area. Don't get why they close it. Don't get why club/bar area is so lit up. Turn off the lights! You are supposedly in a club. I just want more."
