  • "Our dinners at Chamberlin's have always been awesome, but Saturday night was the best. Besides the best food and the best service in town, this Saturday they made our celebration even more special. My son PJ has been taking culinary courses, and when our waitress found this out, she brought Richard Chamberlin to our table to meet everyone! He chatted with PJ, gave him a card and invited him to come and shadow with the kitchen staff some evening. Also gave him some herbs from their herb garden. It was truely a great treat for him. We dine several times a year at Chamberlin's and have never had a disappointment. Both Restaurants are outstanding!"

My reason for picking Chamberlains online is because they state how long they dry age their steaks and for the high quality of the food their prices were very fair. Our waiter was very helpful and attentive at all times. When we were first seated we were near a group of men having a noisy discussion about business issues. I then requested that we be moved to a more quiet table and the quickly obliged."

  • "We had the porterhouse cooked med rare with a mix salad with fried goat cheese. We also had Duck Cigars. While the duck cigars were good the duck flavor seemed a little lost. Our steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly. I also had a blood orange martini that was very tasty and the perfect strength. The service was top notch without being over bearing."

Outstanding and unpretentious .... the dry aged bone-in rib last night was as good as anyplace from New York to San Francisco. Chef Chamberlain came out from the kitchen a couple of times and with his great team runs a wonderful restaurant from front to back. The personal touches are so obvious and it is rare to find them at a restaurant in this day of national chains. Keep it up."

  • "Went to compare with other steakhouses based on ads. First thing noticed was the DIRTY DOORMAT at the entrance. Overpowering aroma of cigar smoke unpleasant, lighting insufficient which rather than romantic was more soporific. My steak was dry, my companions' ok but not as great as Ruth's which are served on broiling plates & stay hot thru the meal. It was not an altogether UNpleasant experience, but I doubt we'll go again. Price was ok with percs & discounts, always appreciated. Route to restrooms went past smoker & there were too many attendants marking our passage with "welcomes" which felt like "running the gamut," when we just didn't want to be noticed. Attentive ok ,not over solicitous. Maybe it just wasn't meant "for us.""

  • "I had only eaten here a few times, each time was great. The restaurant was full, tables not too close together, but the sound level was fine, hardly noticed other people. Service was great, we all like different wine and there was one for each of us. Even had non- alcohol beer, always nice for those who don't drink. Food was wonderful, I has the salmon with a crab meat on top, very rich and filling. Make sure you try the pot stickers as an appetizer (share them). The sides especially the beans with shaved almonds was wonderful and enough to share. We skipped dessert but I'm sure it was wonderful."

My husband took me here for dinner but I didn't like the environment, too loud no private seating for couples, was too hard to eat because of our table size and afraid of breaking glass. I would rather go to Nick and Sam's or Grand Lux at least it's more private and romantic for couples also more space to sit comfortely and eat easily. I was very excited when I saw the reviews people gave to this place but I'm very dissatisfied."

Due to traffic, we were running late. the staff was very helpful in expediting our meal and getting us out in a very timely manner. The fillets were excellent, as usual.
