  • "We got the lobster deviled eggs and beef pot stickers to start with. Both were delicious. They also started us off with the best pop overs I've ever had. Two of us got the bone- in ribeye and the other got the NY strip. All were perfectly cooked. I'd have to say my steak was definitely one of the best I've ever had. Will be back many times."

  • "I've been to LOTS of steak houses in various cities. Chamberlain's ranks at the top. We were originally seated in a booth that only short people would fit comfortably in. We asked to move to a table and the staff graciously accommodated us. The dining area is one large open room and every table was full. I felt as if I was in the middle of a crowd, which is not the ambiance I want for a romantic dinner. It would have been nice if the room were designed to provide a more intimate feel. That being said, the decor is very romantic. The food was FABULOUS and completely made up for the lack of intimacy. Chamberlain's has better food than any other steak house I've been too. We will definitely return to Chamberlain's."

  • "I took a client to this restaurant; it was the first time for both of us though she was very well aware of the reputation of this place. Our prime rib and filet were fantastic and I loved the bernaise sauce. We also had desert - the cheesecake is great. It's nice and dense. Highly recommend this restaurant."

  • " My husband and I, went to Chamberlain's, because it was recommended. We went on a Wed. evening, and I was over dressed. I thought the dress code was business casual/ better. The other patrons were wearing shorts & tee shirts. Our waiter, was attentive, from recommending the best seating situation to ensuring the dessert toppings were to our liking. The "Kobe" beef potstickers were delicious. The ala carte mushrooms in marsala made everything on my plate better: perfectly cooked temperature 12 oz prime rib and garlic mashed potatoes. My husband thought his potatoes were bland (he doesn't like mushrooms), but his NY sirloin had good flavor even though the cut was a bit fibrous. The noise level was very loud."

  • "My wife and I recently dined here for our anniversary and the experience was wonderful. Our waiter Ricardo was very friendly, courteous and attentive to our every need. I mentioned that it was our anniversary when I made the reservation online and we were shocked to see that virtually every employee knew it! We got anniversary well wishes from everyone, from the hostess to the waiters and servers and the maitre d’. As for the food, the lobster & shrimp bisque was delicious and my 40 day aged ribeye was cooked to perfection. My wife said her prime rib may have been the best she’s had. We will definitely be dining there again, and I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience."

At least once every month we need to get our fix..wife loves the steaks (and lobster) i love the prime ri (and lobster)....deserts to die for (wife loves the cheesecake , i take the coconut cream pie)....service is supernatural, starting with Jim, the manager, who always knows our favorite table..to the wait and bus staff who treat you like royalty. It's a total experience you will treasure ( as we do). We first ate at Chamberlains in 1993 and we keep coming back every month. You can never get enough of a good thing."

  • "This was a good choice for a special occasion. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was exactly what I wanted. The only thing that I was dissapointed in was food. Although good, I am very confident that I could make the same dishes at home for a 3rd of the price. In other words the food did not blow my socks off. I had the filet and lobster.   • "Delicious steaks. We got the bone-in ribeye and ny strip and found them to be amazing. The sides we had were also beyond compare. The cream corn with applewood bacon is unbelievable. Both creamed spinach and corn seemed amazingly fresh. We loved the bisque w lobster and shrimp and the spinach salad with warm crusted goat cheese and vinaigrette. The bread was amazing as well. The ambience and service were just perfect for us. We compare all steakhouses to iii Forks, our special occasion favorite for years, and Chamberlains is definitely a contender. We will be back."

  • "We live some distance away from Addison, so dining at Chamberlain's takes a bit of effort, but it's our go-to place for special occasions. This trip was to celebrate Child Bride's birthday, and the experience was perfect. Being on a Thursday evening, there wasn't too much of a crowd, but it was still a decent house. We were seated immediately, and were never rushed to order, or to finish. We split an order of the Duck Cigars appetizer - wonderful. Child Bride said her prime rib was the best she ever had; my filet mignon with bleu cheese butter was perfect, too. A perfect end to a perfect day."

  • "We went early to have a drink at the bar and then for dinner. You are treated very well at all points in the bar/restaurant. We were able to have a nice intimate evening with great food and drink. The service is always great and you don't have someone constantly at the table asking if you want something else. They know their clientele and treat you very well. Leave the kids at home (another great point about the restaurant). Kids are great but you need to have places you can go without hearing a crying child too."

And while steak houses will rarely be as scintillating as the newest chef's creation downtown, at their best they are reliable and consistent, with enough ambience and aroma and flavor to keep things interesting.   • "We were very disappointed in the food, we went there two nights last week and steaks came out over cooked the first time then on fathers day my husband prime rib was again over cooked and I asked for the end piece and normally it is med well it was burnt..so we will think twice about going back and spending that kind of money."
