Chadwicks American Chophouse and BarGreat Dinner as AlwaysEven though it was a lunch menu item they graciously made me a “naked burger” which is a burger without the bun, served with fries and a salad. The burger was perfectly cooked medium as I asked, and had a great charcoal grill flavor. The salad was one of the best I’ve had, a mix of arugula, avocadoes, bacon, tomatoes and onions, and gorgonzola cheese. It was absolutely delicious. Thin crispy French fries, a perfect burger, and a great salad made it a really terrific dinner. My husband had the St. Peter fish with lobster meat and a delicious Chardonnay lobster sauce, and our friend had the chicken bruschetta. Have been here twice and both times everyone loved their meals. It's a very pretty restaurant and the staff is very attentive and friendly. My husband, who is not easy to please food wise, loved his pork chop and I had it for lunch the next day and it was still delicious. I had the gundi, never heard of it before, but it was very good and filling. This time I went with apple gorgonzola salad for an appetizer and the filet mignon with madeira demi glace sauce (on the side) and a side of Parmesan risotto. The salad alone could've been my meal - it was fresh and delicious, a perfect ratio of all the ingredients. My steak was cooked to perfection and the risotto was creamy, but not too heavy. The only thing I didn't love was the glass of pinot noir I had at the bar, but that's more about personal preference and I had a class of cabernet with my meal that complimented it perfectly. Diverse tastes of diners all had something to find on the menu. Amongst us: rack of lamb, an Italian chicken dish, Thai dressed fried calamari, beet salad, St. Peter's fish, duck, veal chop. We were all pleased. Prix Fix dinner provided good choices as well.
Alcoholic drinks were on the high price side.
Waitstaff were pleasant and also accommodated every request of our party.
Our party of eight pretty much agreed the solid wood chairs have to go. Haven't seen chairs like this in a long time in a restaurant of this caliber.

Sadly this happens very infrequently in most restaurants and that is why we keep coming back to Chadwick's. The service is great, the food delicious and you can have a conversation without raising your voice.
