  • "Everything was perfect! The decor was gorgeous, the food was amazing and the service was impeccable! We all will be back!"

  • "It is steps away from a LIRR station - making it the easiest place to have a meeting with participants from the NY city. Food is great, prices are ok. Service was excellent."

  • "Though the bar was crowded we eventually snagged seats and the beers were cold. Later we were seated and waited on by a nice young lady. I had the plank Salmon which was excellent. For dessert, something I rarely indulge in, the Creme Brulee was definitely worth the extra calories. Open Table can be used to make reservations."

  • "Sat March 29 Vince at the front desk & his helper were very helpful. Despite being over booked & could not seat us immediately even tho we had a reservation, they worked hard to get us seated as soon as possible. We were celebrating my mother in law's birthday. We were visiting from Los Angeles..Great menu. Good food."

  • "I cannot wait to go back. I had the Lobsta Pasta and it was probably the best meal I've ever had. I am looking for excuses to go back immediately. It wasn't expensive either which was even more of a plus."

  • "Such a nice atmosphere but food (especially seafood) wasn't good....will not be going back"
    Dined on 3/18/2014
  • "Loved this neighborhood hotspot!! Didn't love being rushed at the end, not even offered dessert that's how badly they wanted to turn the table over...... Would go back maybe not on a Saturday night."

  • "Mediocre food smothered in rich sauces. My wife and I were hoping it could be a new go to in town. Very disappointing. The main course took forever to arrive while the waitress ignored us to avoid the questions. Not worth the money."

  • "There was a very strong odor when we walked in almost like the carpet was dirty, musty and mold like smell..my friends wanted to leave but we decided not to"

  • "This restaurant is great is you are going out with a group of people. The bar area is very lively also."

  • "Chadwick's never disappoints. The new look is great. The food is amazing and the tuna tartare is becoming a well known favorite. Vince at the door is always wonderful. The servers (Danny and Nick to name a few) can't do enough to ensure that you have a great experience. Just a neighborhood treat!"

  • "While the food was very good, the service could have been better. Service was slow, and the temperature of the restaurant was uncomfortably hot making the wait for courses that much worse. Also, the tables were very close together which didn't add to the high noise level."

  • "Reserved at Chadwicks for a Val Day dinner. Initial feel of an old style chop House. Seated on time. Short story is service was mechanical, wine list basic, unremarkable. First thing we were told was that the price fixe menu was only available if wife and I both ordered it. Food choices mostly heavy and unimaginative. Had tuna tartar appetizer (good, not great) and (a full double breast) of chicken in tomato and vegetables (think Mediterranean). The missus had the talapia She's had better). Dinner was just ok & expensive. Bottom line, nice intimate atmosphere, but Chadwick's needs to pay attention to what a typical customer (rather than a repeater which there seemed to be plenty of) might expect. As an alternative in RVC try Franks Steaks"

  • "I took my partner here for her birthday since it's on Valentines Day and the low light romantic set up was nice. The service was great and so was the food. My partner really enjoyed everything about the restaurant and said we will recommend it to our friends and return again. The menu had so many different selections to chose from that would satisfy any taste bud. The drinks were very tasty."

  • "We have been coming here infrequently for a few years. Our past two recent visits have proven us to visit more often. Service, Food & Ambience all excellent. Can't wait to visit again."

  • "Had an excellent dinner at Chadwicks this past weekend with my family for my birthday. The food was fantastic and so was the service. I would definitely recommend the lobster pasta and the chicken spring roll appetizer. Great time all around"

  • "main course was just ok. I had the grill veal chop and was disappointed by the cut. For the price it should have been better. My husband had the prime rib special. It was good but it was not "really good". I like the restaurant. Even though it was very busy the noise level was very low so you could have a good conversation."

  • "I recently hosted my sister's 50th birthday party there and everything was wonderful! We'd all go back again."

  • "We took my parents here for their anniversary. Great place. My husband and son raved about the prime rib. My parents and I had fish - tuna, mahi-mahi, and salmon. We all enjoyed our dishes. Four of us shared two appetizer salads which the kitchen kindly divided for us. They were delicious and perfect appetizer size. The ambience was contemporary but warm and cozy, and service was friendly and attentive. Desserts were yummy too - Chocolate volcano cake, tartufo, and cheesecake, cappuccino. The restaurant was almost full, but was quiet enough for us to converse. We will definitely return."

  • "Great food, nice atmosphere, traditional dining, courteous and professional staff. Good additon to the many options in RVC"

  • "The food, our server (whose middle name was "excellent customer service" were all perfect. The host at the door, however was another story. It was cold out, we were seared in the entry are, as were others and people kept leaving the door open. The draft was annoying to our party as well as other diners. When many of us asked the waiter about, he went to the host who arrogantly waved his hands and voiced indifference. He went to the extent of opening the door and going out after our waiter closed it, and left it open."

  • "The food is great, the service superior, and the prices reasonable. The Chef knows how to make fish, chicken, meat into a elegant sophisticated meal."

  • "A long standing dining establishment in Rockville Centre, has been given a makeover and renewed energy by the previous chef and now new owner/chef. The menu is varied, creative, and nicely served. The prices are reasonable, and the service is excellent. Well worth the trip."

  • "Arrived on time and was told we would have to wait as the open table couple dining before us overstayed their 2 hour allotment. When asked if we made our reservation online we were given a look as if we were something that went sour in the kitchen. Did not stay for dinner. Very embarrassing as I recommended Chadwick's to my dinner guest. I gave ratings one star, but would have been zero if I had the option. Very, very bad experience."

  • "Found this place on open table, looked nice so we decided to have dinner there. It was a great decision. The food was great, service excellent and the place was very nice. I would def recommend."

  • "The place has changed. On Saturday evening, although the food is very good (still), our waiter was excellent, the place seems to have lost its charm. No welcome at the front desk - I arrived on time and was made to feel as if I were an intrusion. I waited while the young man (no suit jacket, no tie, a rumpled white shirt) who was handling the dining room conversed with a staff member. Then I got an earful about the fact that our party of 5 would have to wait, the reservations were jumbled, I used Open Table and that was a problem for them, etc., all while I'm looking at empty tables. That is not how I wanted to start a celebratory dinner with friends. We waited 15 minutes to be seated and the dining room was overcrowded."
    Dined on 12/7/2013
  • "The food was phenomenal and the service was great. I had to wait 30 min for my table after my reservation, but I understand that is sometimes out of the hands of the restaurant. I started getting a little aggravated waiting for the table, but after I sat down and ate I forgot all about it."

  • "The chef/owner creates innovative dishes with panache, without breaking the bank."
    Dined on 11/29/2013
  • "Our first time here. Nice eclectic menu; lots of appealing appetizers. The lobster quesadilla was tasty but perhaps a little pricey ($14) for what it was. The stiffed pork chop was quite good. My wife had a shrimp and crab dish which was also good. No dessert for us that nice. Waiter was quite good, food a little slow coming out. Overall, a nice experience."

  • "We had a choice of about 90 restaurants in and near our town. We wanted something nice to bring our friends to but not break the bank. We had a very enjoyable dinner."

  • "The food offerings are delicious. One of my favorite food establishments. Reservations are definitely suggested as the tables are almost always filled. A gem in RVC."

  • "I met my old friend there for dinner and he thought- what a great place. Cozy, great food, good service, nice atmosphere and great for those over 40 but also for a family dinner"

  • "Three friends treated me to lunch here and as always it did not disappoint. Great food, great service!"

  • "My husband and I went for LI Restaurant Week. I ordered the tuna tartare and pork cutlet. My husband had the soup and fish. Both of us left full and happy. Food and service are great!"

  • "The food is always fabulous here. I had the rack of lamb--awesome. But the service was a bit off."
    Dined on 10/23/2013
  • "The food was great they received 5 star in 5 areas one of was food. However, they also received 5 stars for service and I don't know how they even received one. It was pretty chilly out they open the front door which myself and my party were seated in front of. I asked them to close it, in which I was basically ignored and had to close the door myself. I would have spoken to a manager but it didn't seem like they had one. No Manager even came over and said hello. I ordered port with my dessert it was served in a flute. If I would have known that the prices were upscale and not the services I wild not have chosen this place. I feel bad for the Chef his reputation is made on his food and its excellent but this service will give him a bad rep."
    Dined on 10/25/2013
  • "Lunch was extremely good. Had the special soup or salad & wrap & dessert. Choices were excellent and so was the food. Wonderful portions sometimes those type of specials don't give enough food. Down side is the parking, it's metered and had to feed the meter. And also while the restaurant was quiet the trains were not. But would not keep me away."
