A word from Cha Cha's Latin Kitchen
Cha Cha's Latin Kitchen was recently nominated for Best Mexican Restaurant in Orange County. Using only quality seasonal and organic ingredients, our Latin-inspired menu features spectacular Latin food prepared in a wood-fired oven, and a variety of fresh house made fire-roasted salsas, which hint to the natural and abundant flavor profiles found in every dish.

The same attention to detail carries on to our hand-crafted cocktails; using only fresh-squeezed juices, house-made sour mixes, 100% Blue Agave Tequilas and fresh-fruit garnishes for all of our Margaritas. Cha Cha’s House Margarita was named Critics' Choice for the Best Margarita by the Orange County Register.

  • "Another great meal. Love their fusion spin on traditional Mexican dishes. High end, flavor filled plates with a variety of options. Friday nights have love music, very enjoyable, but that's the reason for the high noise level."
    Dined on 6/20/2014

  • "It was a last minute planning and I was not disappointed."

  • "We ordered the Sangria thinking a Latin restaurant and bar would make a mean one - not so. Then I ordered their Cha Cha margarita, which was also very disappointing. The entrees were great; the guacamole not so great. It tasted like is was a canned variety. We also ordered a large margarita - get out your piggy bank as they charge a whopping $16.95 for it. The price of their mediocre drinks will keep us from returning any time soon. "

  • "My husband and I wanted to take a family member (couple) out to a nice dinner to celebrate their wedding anniversary. The atmosphere was casual and fun. Aside from that the food was delicious. The server was very pleasant and friendly."

  • "great inviting food. , authentic need some more vegetarian menu...."
    Dined on 5/27/2014
  • "The Carnitas were soaked in a sweet pineapple flavored sauce. Not good. The black beans and rice were heavily salted. Chicken Flautas and grilled chicken were O.K. Margarita was good. The place is nice, but the food is nothing special."
    Dined on 5/17/2014
  • "It was delicious! Not your typical Mexican/Latin American hole in the wall. It felt like a much cleaner (american) style of home foods. The carnitas place was very good, not greasy or dry but braised to perfection with lovely earthy sweet flavors. If you decide on eating here... DON'T just get tacos... explore their short but tantalizing menu :)"
    Dined on 5/11/2014
  • "Great experience from the service provided to the food and entertainment (live). Attentive, quick service, great food and fun atmosphere."
    Dined on 5/11/2014
  • "Do not go to this restaurant ever. They have the worst service posdible. "
    Dined on 5/11/2014
  • "We had the shrimp ceviche and chicken quesadilla to start, entrees of carnitas, enchiladas, and calderon. All were excellent. Live band was very loud so it was hard to have a conversation, but they were very good and took requests. Service was adequate, not especially good."
    Dined on 5/10/2014
  • "Took bosses and admin for an admin appreciation dinner on cinco de mayo. Food was great, outdoor patio was really nice, and all enjoyed it!"
    Dined on 5/5/2014
  • "It was Cinco de Mayo weekend, so the restaurant was full. The carne asada was good and the Tres Leches very good. Our server did a great job. Live music added to the atmosphere. It was very noisy and a little hard to talk over plates banging and all the conversations going at once. We had an enjoyable lunch for a reasonable price."

  • "Nice extended happy hour on Saturday. Best ceaser salad I've ever had (perfect dressing), and very good margs and quesadillas."
    Dined on 5/3/2014
  • "I truly enjoy the food, the mojitos and ambience..."
    Dined on 4/25/2014
  • "The chicken Caesar salad is wonderful, as are the freshly made chips and two kinds of salsa. Our waiter was always there to refill drinks, but didn't hang over us. Sitting on the patio on a nice day is the best place to people watch in Brea as there are always folks you know wandering around the downtown!"
    Dined on 4/23/2014
  • "We stopped in for a quick dinner, and it definitely helped making the Open Table reservation while we were running errands at the Home Depot down the street. When we arrived there was a long line out the door. . . and rightfully so. The food is great, drinks are ok (they're very sugary, so if you're not into "real" drinks, they definitely cater more to the fruity, tropical punch drinkers). All in all a nice place for a casual dinner. A bit too loud for anything romantic, or for a big group."

  • "Love the food, the music and the service. The service is outstanding from the busboy to the bartender. My favorite seafood enchiladas!!!"
    Dined on 4/20/2014
  • "First time to the place, it was sooooo good. The waiter was so nice he gave us a guagamole for free. That taste so good. Great selection of cocktails. Love the mojito there. The make it like icy. Highly recommand place for great mexican food!!!"

  • "My husband and I wanted Mexican food for our date night dinner, but we were tired of the same places we have been to before. Found this place on opentable and decided to give it a shot. We were more than pleased with this new find. The ambiance was a bit loud, but the food and service more than made up for it! Everything we tried was so delicious. My favorite was the green salsa. We will definitely be going back for more of Cha Cha's kitchen!"

  • "Food was delicious, but service staff were so rude, not friendly, it took over 30min to get our drinks, hostess was rude and told us to find our party in the back instead of walking us to the table. We saw two waitress fight over some issue, loud enough to interrupt our table conversation. I wish I could give more stars but if it weren't for the food it would only be a 1-2 star rating."

  • "Wonderful atmosphere and recommend patio area. Food was delicious and suggest the Mango Flautas if you desire something light. The Chicken Tortilla soup was not too spicy. Perfect place for business lunch."
    Dined on 3/27/2014
  • "Great enchiladas if you're willing to pay twenty bucks for a pair."
    Dined on 3/20/2014
  • "Very noisy and what is the purpose of showing an old black and white movie, senseless really Not romantic in any way, could not hear anything my husband was saying I think they need carpet and maybe lowered ceilings to lessen the noise factor. Food is good"

  • "Came highly recommended by a co-worker so I invited a friend to meet me there. We sat in the patio area because it was a beautiful day. We were greeted by the server who went over the brunch menu options and then took our order. Because we were settling in and going over the menu, it wasn't until after she delivered our first round of drinks that we read the small advertisements on the table about the daily specials. Happy hour all day Sunday?! When the server returned to take our order, I asked her to tell us a little bit more about Happy Hour and she informed us "happy hour" on Sundays is in the bar only. It would have been nice if the hostess would have told us about happy hour before sitting us, as the drinks were pricey."

  • "The food, ambiance and service were great. From the moment we walked in the service was great. We sat in the lounge and had some drinks which were very tasty. They accommodated one of our guests who is in a wheelchair. Our server was patient with us while we decided our meal selections. Everything was tasty...especially the carne asada and the hearts of romaine salad."

  • "Went for Sunday Bottomless Mimosa Brunch, this past weekend (3/1), we were the loudest group of 6 there and absolutely loved it! The band was awesome! Our server was very friendly and cute. Our drinks were topped off almost immediately and always with a smile. Got there around 11:00, left around 16:00 and paid about $400, give or take a few dozen dollars. Mind you, we did order more than just our single meal each, all paid the extra $6 for the bottomless option and too it off with several shots of Herradura Tequila each. In my opinion, the price was reasonable & well worth it."

  • "OC Restaurant Week excited to try their menu this year, putting aside my past bad experiences here & my hubby's request to try another location for restaurant week, I decided to give them another chance. First off I have no idea why they use opentable for reservations, once again I requested patio seating (my husband is claustrophobic) which I indicated in the notes section of my reservation & I know it's not a guarantee but I put it on there so they are aware hoping they at least are considerate enough & read it, they did not have it down AGAIN & said they knew nothing about it. WOW!! 1st time shame on you, 2nd time shame on me, 3rd time yeesh I don't learn do I? Needless to say I will NOT be visiting them again."
