Diner Reviews
  • "Food was delicious, but service staff were so rude, not friendly, it took over 30min to get our drinks, hostess was rude and told us to find our party in the back instead of walking us to the table. We saw two waitress fight over some issue, loud enough to interrupt our table conversation. I wish I could give more stars but if it weren't for the food it would only be a 1-2 star rating."

  • "Wonderful atmosphere and recommend patio area. Food was delicious and suggest the Mango Flautas if you desire something light. The Chicken Tortilla soup was not too spicy. Perfect place for business lunch."

  • "Very noisy and what is the purpose of showing an old black and white movie, senseless really Not romantic in any way, could not hear anything my husband was saying I think they need carpet and maybe lowered ceilings to lessen the noise factor. Food is good"

  • "Came highly recommended by a co-worker so I invited a friend to meet me there. We sat in the patio area because it was a beautiful day. We were greeted by the server who went over the brunch menu options and then took our order. Because we were settling in and going over the menu, it wasn't until after she delivered our first round of drinks that we read the small advertisements on the table about the daily specials. Happy hour all day Sunday?! When the server returned to take our order, I asked her to tell us a little bit more about Happy Hour and she informed us "happy hour" on Sundays is in the bar only. It would have been nice if the hostess would have told us about happy hour before sitting us, as the drinks were pricey."

  • "The food, ambiance and service were great. From the moment we walked in the service was great. We sat in the lounge and had some drinks which were very tasty. They accommodated one of our guests who is in a wheelchair. Our server was patient with us while we decided our meal selections. Everything was tasty...especially the carne asada and the hearts of romaine salad."

  • "Went for Sunday Bottomless Mimosa Brunch, this past weekend (3/1), we were the loudest group of 6 there and absolutely loved it! The band was awesome! Our server was very friendly and cute. Our drinks were topped off almost immediately and always with a smile. Got there around 11:00, left around 16:00 and paid about $400, give or take a few dozen dollars. Mind you, we did order more than just our single meal each, all paid the extra $6 for the bottomless option and too it off with several shots of Herradura Tequila each. In my opinion, the price was reasonable & well worth it."

  • "OC Restaurant Week excited to try their menu this year, putting aside my past bad experiences here & my hubby's request to try another location for restaurant week, I decided to give them another chance. First off I have no idea why they use opentable for reservations, once again I requested patio seating (my husband is claustrophobic) which I indicated in the notes section of my reservation & I know it's not a guarantee but I put it on there so they are aware hoping they at least are considerate enough & read it, they did not have it down AGAIN & said they knew nothing about it. WOW!! 1st time shame on you, 2nd time shame on me, 3rd time yeesh I don't learn do I? Needless to say I will NOT be visiting them again."

  • "Been wanting to try it for a long time. So glad I finally did. The menu is inspired and my food was delicious. Tried a three course special with Pepita Caesar salad, marinated flank steak cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. Followed by chocolate taquitos for dessert. Yum. I also added one of there wonderful freshly made classic margaritas. The price for all of this was a reasonable $26 + tip and tax. The bar scene was hopping and the Happy Hour food & drink prices looked great. Next time I might try that, but it looked pretty crowded and noise in there."

  • "This place remind me a more upscale mexican restaurant, there's no mariachi here. but do got a live band in the weekend night time. However it can be too loud for conversation in those time. The food in general are good, big portion also there's free chips with salsa. The presentation of the food is very good. from the appertizer to the dessert. Tasted is a good, the salmon wasn't flavor enough but such huge portion can't finish it. The cake was was delicious. Overall I like the $20 I spend here, would recommend."

  • "We had a combination Taco platter...all were amazing but the carnitas tasted like Hawaii its a fresh twist on Mexican with the mango salsa on it...its so good! Also we had guacamole and chips..chips are addicting they are so good! Best guacamole ive eaten at a restaurant its so flavorful, chunky and fresh. we also had a enchilada plate. They were sooooo good...I font lijr black beans but the black beans here are great! And the rice....oh tgr rice... lets just say we made reservations for Thursday last week and are taking friends out for dinner there again tonight!"

  • "This is not a Mexican restaurant! It is Latin, as the name implies, and is evident in the flavors of the foods. My husband had the carnitas selection. They were not your typical carnitas, but they were VERY good. The serving portions were very generous, so you won't leave hungry! The margaritas compare to some of the best I've had. And the flan surpassed any I have ever had!! The wait staff was very friendly, and timely for the most part. We sat on the outside patio on a cold rainy night but with clear shades down and heat lamps, it was very comfortable. It would be very nice on any night, especially in warmer weather! They were very accommodating to make sure all customers were comfortable, and adjusted the temperature as needed."

  • "Food ok. Chicken tortilla soup not the best. Waiter was nice but was slow and forgot a lot of things. In a hurry to collect bill because he told us he was going to his next job."

  • "I felt the prices on the Margaritas were way too high. It discouraged me from ordering them because the drinks would have added up to more than the food. Not a good value."

  • "I love this place for brunch, but also their Traditional Tortilla Soup is really good. I live 25+ miles from this place and don't mind the drive to have the soup. Their guacamole and margaritas are great too!"

  • "Even with a reservation, it took 20 minutes to be seated. The services was not great, our waitress only checked on us a couple times and our food took forever. The waitress recommended the carnitas, 2 people in our party ordered it. When served, it was in a hot pan, the server advised us to be careful because the pan was very hot. That was a nice tip, however after taking a bite of the carnitas, it turns out that while the pan was hot, the food was only luke warm. Both pans were hot, and both carnitas was just at room temperature. Not sure why this place is so popular. The food is definitely not worth it."

  • "Good food, we were there on weekend. They had nice band playing music. Crowded and wait staff were doing their best. We had gift certificate , which they were not familiar with it, so they had to call manager. He was very accommodating and did his best and took care of us. Will go back again, may on a regular day."

  • "I have been to this restaurant a couple times before and I always have a good time. I think the restaurant recently started a VIP program, such as happy hour pricing for food and drink items that you wouldn't be able to receive if you didn't have a VIP card. My friend and I tried to sign up for the card online using our phones but the cite was not working, so our server Kevin said he would talk to the manager and see if he could get us the the happy hour pricing with out having the VIP card. To our surprise, Kevin came through and we were given the happy hour pricing for our food and drinks; we just had to fill out a comment card about or time at the restaurant. I love dining at Cha Cha's. The food is delicious and the drinks are divine."

  • "The food here is delicious! Saturday nights are always busy, so make sure you reserve your table or you may have to wait quite a while. We ended up having to sit outside all the way round the side of the restaurant, so you felt a little bit left out. There was a patio heater but it was still quite chilly so I would recommend bringing a jacket in case you get stuck out there. We were excited to see that a band were going to be playing. Unfortunately, someone must have complained about it being played outside because they turned off the sound outside so we couldn't here it. We did ask for it it to be turned back on so we could enjoy the band but it didn't happen. That was a real shame."

  • "pricey..It was my first time having Flautas it was great, i almost thought that it was baked. My hubby had the carne asada and it was perfectly grilled and the chimicurri sauce was very different. Cocktail are not to be missed. It's a phenomenal deal to get the prix fix meal of $24.95. If you get the meal, then you can get a grande margarita cocktail for $12. Sans the prix fix, the drink is 3x the regular price so about $19 bucks!!! Oh, as for the ceviche, please skip that.I was shocked, i thought I ordered a tortilla soup. I guess it's very authentic but I wasn't use to it. It's still sitting in the fridge. Overall, great experience but for 2 people, the bill came to $100, not including the 20 % tip. Service was flawless no complaints"
