Our server Kevin , was helpful yet verbally rushed with the verbiage that must repeat over n over .. Even with a bottle of wine returned our experience still held high customer svc. expectations. And specifically due to Kevin's attention we Did try foie gras which was new for all..

Aside from the delicious food, the staff was super friendly and helpful, making our group feel extra special. The restaurant is set in a historical home which was converted into a resort, making for lovely ambiance and interesting conversation.

Instead we decided to have dinner and boy were we happy we did! We each had something different and from the duck, to the salmon, to the trout, to the pappardelle with lobster they were all delicious and beautiful to look at. I had the pappardelle which had chunks of lobster with mushrooms in a brown mushroom sauce and was fabulous. My wife had the trout which was moist and nicely seasoned. Proceeded to desserts and were equally impressed from the Creme Brûlée to the Bananas Foster. Service was friendly and informative. It was a quaint setting with a very friendly setting. It took a while for the server to initially greet us, but once he did he was great! This was an early Mother's Day celebration, and the staff at T.Cooks made it the most perfect experience ever. We coordinated flower delivery through Open Table and called ahead. The T.Cooks staff made sure the flowers were on the table when we arrived. We requested a patio table and they gave us the best one with the best view. We also requested a few other special things that they handled ahead of time. Service and organization is impeccable. Cook's many times - always excellent - great cocktail and/or dining patio as well as indoor ambiance. We met several friends (4) who had never been to T.Cook's and had a wonderful evening - we might have been laughing too much or making a little too much noise because the table next to us (3 people)who were very rude and made extremely inappropriate comments when we left. The management offered us complimentary after-dinner drinks which was not necessary by very much appreciated. The point is, they offered even though we knew it was not the managements fault - we just had a very bad, unhappy group next to us. We will certainly be back again and again. The grounds of the resort are beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxed, the staff is incredibly efficient and it is THE place to dine in Phoenix.
When my husband and I lived in Phoenix, it was our favorite special occasion restaurant. There recently on vacation with our four-year-old son, we couldn't wait to take him there. My husband and I went to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary, he also proposed to me at T Cooks. They brought us to the table, had rose petals laid all over, the menu also said Happy Anniversary up top and we even got to keep one, they even presented us with little chocolates on a plate that said Happy Anniversary in chocolate. They did everything they could to make our special night, "special". Have dined at T Cooks half dozen times...anniversaries, birthdays, special business dinners...superb in each instance. Spouse and I were ( in from Dallas..back to our 'home in the desert')' made T Cooks our first of three 'dinners out' we'll have on our 4-day stay.
Dinner at "Elements" ( the Sanctuary) last evening was superb. Dinner at T Cooks the evening before was slightly better...excellent Waiters at both... Robert at T Cooks was great... David at Elements/Sanctuary, likewise.

It was difficult choosing an entree. I want to try new things but I don't want a chef to push the envelope too much. After the chilled pea and truffle soup, I was pleasantly surprised by the cod. The pork appetizer was not iimpressive. The bread was hard and the pesto bland. The cod and chocolate decadence saved and otherwise lackluster meal. Breakfast on the other hand was exceptional.
