    The Bistro was humming with diners for Worcester Restaurant week. This new two month addition to the Worcester scene is total eye candy. Slick and scaled up, as was the menu. Our server was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the chefs were not up to the challenge for such a turn out. We waited over an hour and half for our meals, and to boot they were cold. Once the glitches are out I believe this will be a frequented Hot spot to the Worcester area and the Beechwood hotel.

    We decided to take advantage of Restaurant Week and try out Ceres. Our waiter was named Jarrett. He was excellent! The service, food and atmosphere was superb. I am looking forward to revisiting when your Outdoor Patio is complete.

    Really loved our experience at Ceres! We were greeted by the hostess, and promptly led to our table, as requested, by the windows. Our server, Lauren was wonderful. She quickly greeted us after being seated, and explained the WorcesterRestaurant Week specials, and the specials for the evening. She was also a great help in recommending our wine selections. The food was served at a nice pace so we could enjoy our evening. The onion soup was hearty and warm when served. The swordfish was tender and delicate served with rice and summer fresh vegetables. We finished our meal with a scrumptious flan with fresh berries. Our evening was so enjoyable from beginning to end thanks to our waitress and the fellow waitstaff.

    This is THE place to go in Worcester! The food was fantastic, the resaurant is beautiful and the service is unmatched. I love the menu and the overall concept of farm to table. Their commitment to enviromental stewardship is also a plus.

    Move over 111, Worcester has a new top restaurant! Clean, friendly, and the best service that my wife and I have received in over 5 years of Worcester dining. Even the owner took time to check and see how everything was, asking the types of questions that showed he really cared about our experience. As for the food, the fish was cooked perfectly (very fresh) and the bistro chicken is a definate "must." we will be back often, thank you!!

    This is NOT a typical 'hotel' restaurant - the new management run several of the area's best restaurants, with a focus on high-quality ingredients, thoughtful wine lists, and well-conceived menus. This place is no exception - I've dined here twice in the past week (Restaurant Week!) and had impeccable meals in a very lively atmosphere both times. Surprising for this city is the decent selection of very good shellfish - both raw (oysters, clams), chilled and dishes like moules - very much needed in a town with just one other good seafood place. Delighted this restaurant is on the scene.

    The waitstaff was very knowledgeable about the menu and were able to answer any questions my friends and I had. The food was also very good. Unfortunately the service was EXTREMELY slow. Three of us went for Restaurant Week on a Tuesday to try it out. We had to wait for our soups and salads because they did not come out together, they were too staggered. We feel we should have received our salads/ soups closer together and not one receive her salad then receive our soup 5 minutes later even though we had ordered salads also. We will try the restaurant again but will hope for better service.

    The service was outstanding and the meal was wonderful. My friend and I tried Ceres during Restaurant Week. We both had the hanger steak which was tender and cooked to perfection. Portion sizes are smaller than what we Americans consider the norm, but I appreciate that. The wine list is very interesting. I will be going back.

    thouroughly enjoyable evening. Server made well considered suggestions and really seemed to know the menu. Small plates were a nice touch as we were able to have appetizers and dessert as well as dinner. We had a range of seafood, duck and chicken. My son is still exclaiming over the prosciutto appetizer. The dessert selections were varied and very delicious. Loved the presentation. Looking forward to our next visit when the outside dining area is finished. Food was interesting and well prepared./

    We were the only ones there at 5:00 pm on a Sunday. The new dining room and bar area is done very nicely. They have a filtration system and carbonation system so a liter of their own sparking water is only $2 and very good. We had a caesar salad and "blt" salad with buttermilk dressing, both were excellent. We had corn/potato chowder which was excellent. The rolls were excellent. My husband had Colorado lamb chops which were excellent, but 3 small ones for $30 with only a side caesar salad included seemed expensive. I like that they had some entrees that came in two sizes. I had sea bass in the small plate size which was quite small, and I really wasn't thrilled with it. We will come and try it again.

    A nice addition to the Central Mass dining experience. The first time we visited it was outstanding, the second time, not as good. I would have to say the dining experience has been a little uneven. Hopefully since this is a fairly new restaurant they will iron out the unevenness. Service very good both times. The second time the meal came out at a slow pace but the manager gave us a free drink to compensate. Would definitely return to give it another try and have recommended it to others.

    They are doing some renovations around this hotel and I will admit we just stopped in based on open tables feedback. Had we not been in a rush I would have sent my food back. The osso buco was too salty and more like a stew than anything else. The veggies in the dish were more than al dente in sections (really raw) and mush in other parts. Very poorly executed. My date had the chicken - overcooked. Nothing can save a poorly cooked chicken dish. The place was empty when we were there and so that may excuse the exceptionally overbearing service. There truly is no need to double check on us every two minutes. Skip this one.

    Ceres has been open just a few weeks and so far hits the mark. The decor is modern and minimalist cool. Menu is straightforward American Bistro taken up a notch in quality of the ingredients (especially the meat) and preparation. Steaks are juicy (I've had the sirlion and the filet and both were cooked as requested) and sides the like corn and yukon potato soup are quite good. Wine by the glass list also has variety with some tasty reds. I'd recommend Ceres for a date or small group wanting a modern dining experience with comfort food done exceptionally well.

    We were excited to try this new restaurant at the Beechwood. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Everything is al la carte so be prepared to spend accordingly. The server was enthusiastic but a bit unprepared and nervous - it's new and they are still working through their early days. Bar was busy and lively. This should have a rating similar to 111 ChopHouse for expense. We had no dessert, no appetizers, no salad and no drinks and it was $40.00 / person.

    The new restaurant is probably the most elegant dining space in Worcester. When they complete the outdoor garden, it will have an added plus. The Asian Shrimp entree salad was very good; so was the BBQ chicken salad. The appetizer crab cake was of the best kind: nearly all crab, little breading. Reasonable prices, too.

Staff seemed distracted.Food soso: short ribs fully one half fat,yummy risotto cake, vegetables very nice, dessert good, nice touch with water bottle; fussy salt & pepper table (it really got in the way). No one asked if we wanted to take home our leftovers.Why any one would want to sit outside and gaze at the parking lot and route 9 is beyond me.
