  • "We made our reservation for outdoor seating and we seated immediately at a lovely outdoor table. The view of Lake Quinsigamond was lovely. Everything was going very well, until my steak arrived way over cooked. I told the server about the steak and she immediately apologized and took it back, the hostess and the manager came to apologize, brought me more bread and then personally served my steak and waited for me to check it before leaving. The staff more than made up for the over cooked steak. Everything was wonderful!"

  • "I went to Ceres with a friend for lunch. We arrived at 12:30 and chose to eat outside. It was very quiet and it was beautiful! The menu is quite varied and very reasonable. Our food was delicious! I had the tuna tarragon salad on a croissant while my friend had grilled chicken flatbread. Both were great! Our server was outstanding. Perfect spot for an awesome lunch!"

We all had the basic breakfast food and each got home fries that were diffrent, some were heavily seasoned and some not at all. Our waitress was very nice and knowledgeable and hostess was pleasant as well. Again good but not hitching notable."

  • "My girlfriend and I went for a special night out. Getting there early we went to the bar for a cocktail. The bar service was very good and the drinks were excellent. We both were not too impressed with the décor. Especially didn't like the lighted bar or the material they were constructed of. Just personal preference. Our server was not quite up to the level I expected for the price, but she was pleasant. The food was very good and worth the price. "

  • "Hi, This is the first time I've been back to Ceres since it moved from the Niche group. I was surprised at the menu changes and at first didn't like the idea it was no longer "small plates".. BUT the food was amazing. The salad was fresh and the main dish was full of flavor. I didn't give the food outstanding because my steak was overcooked and the vegetables were a little blah. The waitress we had wasn't good at all - but we weren't in a rush so it didn't ruin our experience or anything. The outdoor area is so beautiful and has enough shade that we weren't being overpowered by the sun. I would go back for sure. "

It was pretty quiet on a Saturday night - only about half full, and cleared out early - but this didn't detract from an enjoyable dining experience for my wife and I."

  • "been here multiple times for brunch! great for brunch, you can choose from the breakfast or lunch menu and it's not very crowded which is nice. service was slow at first, but got better and ended well. i was annoyed the roasted cauliflower soup was made with chicken stock - why? make vegetable soups vegetarian! they do have limited but tasty veggie options. the tort was served cold which made the dough gummy, ew. don't get that. everything else was tasty and portions are generous."

The view from the dining room and stained glass ceiling is very nice - lots of class and glass though not exactly cozy in the winter. I had the "salmon platter,' bagel with cream cheese, smoked salmon, capers, onion. Good, fresh - kindof basic. Competent service. Overall though we were very pleased. I'd like to try a full meal have drinks at the lighted bar tables and maybe even do an overnight stay. It's got a cool vibe. Enjoy!"

  • "This was our first experience with Ceres Bistro and it was wonderful. We went there for Valentine's Day, and the overall experience, service/food was incredible. The bar area is contemporary with a white lit bar top giving a very cool feel to the bar. We started with a couple glasses of Merlot then our table was ready. We started with a fried calamari appetizer which was easily the best we've ever had. We then tried their Clam Chowder which was very unique with whole clams and leeks, and maple cured bacon, also excellent. For entrees, I had the Gorgonzola Filet and my wife had Sesame Sea Scallops. We topped it off with a dessert they called Sticky Toffee Pudding. Three words - Oh My God! This is now one of our favorite restaurants."
