A word from Century Grill & Century Room
Century Grill is the flagship restaurant of the Century Hospitality Group and is definitely not your average "grill next door" - we've been 'grilling' for over a decade and continue to strive at setting the bar high when it comes to innovative food & drink.

Corporate Chef Paul Shufelt has assembled an ambitious menu that promises a dish to satisfy every taste. His characterized collection of savory & sophisticated fare is "contemporary comfort food w/ flare". This is fresh quality food at a reasonable price coming out of a serious kitchen, complimented by an extensive & impressive wine selection.

In addition to the expansive restaurant, the Century Room takes on it's own vibrant identity, with a popular happy hour, 1/2 Price Wine Wednesdays and their resident house DJ spinning Thursday thru Saturday.

Century Grill & Century Room strive to provide the ultimate experience in Eat, Drink & Play...truly a restaurant with serious scene & cuisine.

The place was pretty dead. Service was good most likely for that reason. Food was really overprived for what it actually was. I would not go back.

We had never been to Century Grill as a family and it had been years since we had dined there as a couple. It was a busy Saturday night but, with three teenagers in tow, we had an excellent meal and a very pleasant dining experience. Michelle, our waitress, was efficient and friendly throughout the night and she was ably assisted by other staff in quickly serving the meals and drinks. We will be back!!

  • 'New' menu needs further help

    Dined on 10/25/2014
Unfortunately, this was one of the worst meals that I have had in a very long time. The service was extremely good - I just wish that the quality of the food was up to the same standard. My shrimp taco appetizer was flavorless and messy to eat. My New York steak was over-cooked and came with a sesame sauce that made each bite taste burnt. Dessert consisted of a strawberry cheesecake that was grany and lacking flavor. The almond purée that the cheesecake came on was unnecessary and did. Not add to the dish in any way. The 'new' menu still needs some work, in my opinion.

While the food was good it was pricey. Other fine dining establishments serve warm bread, flavored butter or oil and vinegar dips and or olives soon after the order is placed free of charge. Even with the high meal costs, we had to purchase our bread. We were celebrating a birthday, which was noticed by the server. I thought the birthday guest would be recognized by an offer of a free dessert or even one item that is a signature offering by the restaurant. It seems that you have to pay for every little food item and seemed to be chintzy of the restaurant to be this way considering the cost of the menu items.

The one renegade was the chicken with mushroom risotto - also a hit, as were the 'Cheese & Crackers' & Gyoza Appetizers. For dessert the pineapple pie proved perfect for sharing to rave reviews. The Chocolate Decadence would be difficult to resist anytime, but my fav was the butterscotch/pecan cheesecake - yummy! Best of all our party of 6 was taken care of delightfully by our waitress Sarah. She proved a wealth of info, was efficient and charming. The patio was very lovely with a heater to provide warmth when necessary for the reunion of a group of friends who hadn't seen each other for a couple of years.

We have dined at the Century Grill a number of times and every time we have had excellent service from freindly staff who are knowledgable about the wines and menu items. The food is prepared within a respectable amount of time regardless of how busy it may be. On this occasion we brought some freinds who had never been there before and they thouroughly enjoyed the experiance.

Its time that the Century group look at there level of service you deliver for the price one pays . I am very disappointed right from the start . I had reservation and the hostess could not figure out my reservation furhter I then got a notice from open table telling me that I had missed my reservation. I had several Capital investors from US and eastern Canada and when you come in for lunch at 11:45 and didn't get your food till 1:45. We left the restaurant at 2:30 and not by choice. Prior to leaving the on duty manager who was dressed like he was on his day off came and asked how everything was. Here a tip before you go ask, go check your food tickets etc. Don't waste my time with your APPEASING COMMENTS.THIS is my honest comments!!!

I came here because I got a gift card from work. The food is overpriced. My mom order "Where's the beef" with tomato sauce instead of Alfredo sauce. The dish came out with Alfredo sauce. It took 20 mins for the fish to come out the second time. I ordered oysters, the server forgot it. Bugs flew around the table. A high classy decoration restaurant with terrible food and service. That was the first time and also the last time I came for this place.

My family was so impressed with our experience at Century. My son had graduated that day and decided that he would prefer to go out for dinner instead of attending the dinner put on by the school. I had made reservations about 2 weeks before the event for 5:30pm but ended up getting there at least an hour early (you were actually not open when we arrived). One of the managers came out and told us that we were more than welcome to come in for drinks until they opened... we all thought that it was above and beyond as I'm sure everyone had a long night ahead. Our experience was awesome as was our food and especially service. We would definitely recommend!!

I was very disappointed with the Mother's Day brunch. While there were fresh pastries and muffins offered, there was very little variety of anything else, and what was offered was tepid. Two of the diners at my table had fried chicken that was pink in the middle. For the price, I expected a world-class buffet with a large spread. Furthermore, I ordered tea and was not served hot water with my tea bag, and I had to wait for a long time to ask my server to remedy this.

Walking into the restaurant one is reminded of the higher-end restaurants of the late '60s & '70s-somber, with enough light to read the menu, but calmer than many of the new establishments: a perfect place for a business meeting or long quiet conversations. The menu however has been updated, but in the newer taste traditions - a very good kale salad, light on dressing; and a perfectly acceptable beet and arugula combination, both with a larger portion of well-cooked salmon. The cheese gallette was excessively salty and baked almost to the point of tasting burnt. Did not try dessert, but found the variety of herbal teas to complete the meal were limited. Alas! I should have remembered the suggestions from Mad Men.
