Altogether had a good time. Their Copper Ale was delicious, and no complaints about the burger and fries. We had a table of 8, and some people said their yam fries were cold when it was served. Service was intermittant.

The best thing about this place is the beer selection. Sample many kinds of craft beers with their "beer flight" of 4 small glasses of different beers. Their hops are fairly bitter so keep that in mind when trying IPA's. The food is so-so. The nachos come with baked beans (like Heinz's beans, not black beans) so I always order them without beans.

meh, beer is fantastic, setting is fine, pizza OK, music (both canned and live) what you would expect for a suburban restaurant in that it's unaware of the 80's, 90's, 00's and anything from this decade, service OK. not going to make a special trip anytime soon.

Have had lunch several times as I work in the Tower but first time I have had dinner. Not disappointed at all - lunch is always good and dinner was of equal quality. Service was professional; staff extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. It was so easy to book on line and then had confirmation quickly which was good as I had booked a table for 14.

Been coming here for 3-4 years now and a lot has changed from it being a club to an amazing restaurant. I would say it's more loungy. The service is really good! The manager and the waitresses that work there are super personable, nice, and they know a lot about the menu. Always on top of their game! Drinks are good and reasonably priced. Now the food... Central city definitely has the best food compared to all these repetitive chain restaurants. Everything to their appies to their deserts. Their beer battered fries are the best fries ever! I recently fell in love with their Chorizo sausage tortilini. All their deserts are just to die for! Best restaurant in Slurrey hands down! Good crowd, great service and awesome food! Always impressed!

Met some gal pals here for lunch during the week. Nice big interior area, big comfy booths. Two of us ordered the Burger, one had the Margherita pizza, and one had the soup. Service was a tad on the slow side, especially since it wasn't very busy. Everyone thought their lunch was good, but nothing to write home about. I could see this being popular considering there's not much competition in the area.

Overall this is a good restaurant/bar. We hadn't been here for about 6 or 7 years so thought we would give it a try again for a birthday dinner. The food was good as we had remembered it but I would have liked a bit more to choose from on the menu. We should have thought ahead before booking as there was a hockey game on and a big group right beside us cheering on the game. The service was a bit on the slow side but given the crowd it was understandable. Would definitely go again but would check the sports schedule before booking.

I had a group dining here for a going away party and the service was...honestly pretty terrible. I have been here many times before and never had this happen The server came around every 45 minutes if we were lucky the food took over a hour to get it was at least a 30 minute wait just to get our drink order to us in the end we ended up cancelling our final drink order after waiting 25 minutes and left... it was really disappointing, the experience really brought the mood down for the group and left the young lady who was leaving and the party was for feeling really disappointed. I do not know what was going on but my over all rating would be a 2/5 just because of the food and that is it.

I recently went to Central City with a large group for a sort of "going away" party. My friend and I, who were hosting, were running late and they let us pre-order and have the food served to the guests that arrived on time. On top of that, they let us bring our own cake and even provided plates and cutlery (and boxed the leftover cake we had brought). Aside from the amazing service, all of the appetizers were absolutely delicious. We ordered 1-2 of everything except for the soup (because you can't share that) and it was all finger-licking good. Hands down the best place in Surrey (and the raspberry beer is great, too). Would recommend to anyone!

We went for a casual weekday dinner but was quite disappointed. There weren't a lot of guests when we first arrived but they sat us at a tiny table for two right next to the bar. Our server was nice but the overall service was slow despite a fairly empty restaurant. The group by the bar was noisy and it looked like they were actually employees either just finishing or starting their shift. They started to pull up more chairs to accommodate more friends and it got to the point where we could barely get out of our own seats to go to the washroom! The food was ok but I wouldn't go back due to the slow service and off-work employees disturbing what would've been a good ambience.

This was the third time I've gone to Central City - the first two were good. The menu seems to have shrunk no longer offering the more interesting meals - like pulled pork sliders. Because we were a large group the server(s) seemed to think that because the 15% tip would be added automatically providing attentive service to our table wasn't important. This resulted in very direct answers to our menu questions as well as lack of table maintenance. Several used plates and glasses were left on our table for a couple of hours until we left the restaurant. The beer is great, the atmosphere good, music was great but our experience with the food and service this time has resulted in our decision to go somewhere else for our next guys' night out.

Previously visited and the service was very slow but I thought because it was a large group. As the restaurant is in the building that I work in, a group of us decided to go again. Group meaning 5. It was not busy considering the time of our visit - 12:30. Told our server right away that we only had an hour and we orders as soon as we arrived. We did not get out food until 1:15 and then they had forgotten to put in the order of one. Luckily, someone else in the restaurant had ordered the same thing so they took that one and started to make a new one for the other customer (I would assume, it would have delayed that persons order). Will not visit them again for lunch.

This place is pretty spot on for a brew pub. The food is familiar with exciting twists and delicious (try the cheese sticks). The beer is fantastic. The service is just okay and the ambience is slightly lacking as not enough people have found this beauty of a brew pub. They accommodate groups well and I've noticed that the floor manager is very involved in making sure that diners are having a positive experience. Overall, a fantastic pub that is convenient to get to, has great food, and wonderful beer!

We were there very shortly after they opened for brunch on Mother's day and I am not certain they were ready - though who goes to a brewery for breakfast? The service was VERY slow and we had to ask (and wait) for things I would expect to be standard, like syrup to come with French Toast and jam to accompany toast on a breakfast order. The food was good, though some of it obviously waited for other plates to be ready, as one diners food was piping hot, mine was tepid and had been waiting a while. We had brunch items (eggs benny, french toast, trad breakfast) and bread pudding for dessert - which was to die for. All in all it wasn't a great experience, but I would give them another shot, a little later in the day.

We were a group of 12 and this can slow down the orders but we did have to wait 45 minutes for our luch to be served and when it was served, the hot food was just warm and one person did complain that their fries were cold. Our server was wonderful and you could tell that she was uncomfortable that the food was taking so long. When we do have lunch, which is done on a regular basis, it is usually in smaller numbers (2-4 people) and the food come a little faster than 45 minutes.

I went back to the Central City Brewing Company because of the great service I had the last time. Also for the group it was central and easy to get to as some were coming in from Vancouver! The service and food was great. I had reserved a table for a party of 5 for four of my clients. Four tables were pressed together, in an area which was the main pedestrian egress corridor. The final chair was often bumped by people walking by. Given that the restaurant was only at about 60% capacity during lunch, I would have preferred to have my reserved table in a more centralized area where there wasn’t so much foot traffic within the restaurant. Other than that, we had great soup, great food, and a great service. Thanks
