Great family owned restaurant, great food, known for their Sunday Brunch but we visited on a Friday and were pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of Lent specials for such a small place. It's BYOB too, $8 corkage fee (per table). They had the PENS game on too for anyone who loves Pittsburgh Sports. Also had some wing specials during the game. Great little place!

  • Nice quiet place to get some

Nice quiet place to get some really good food and very good deserts. We were greeted immediately at the door and seated right away. During our meal the staff checked with us several times clearing our plates and refilling our drinks. Will definately go back again to try out some of the other items on the menu. The only knock from one person in our party was the side of mac & cheese with their fish could have had a more cheesy flaor. BYOB is a plus

Food was great! Especially liked the spinach pie appetizer and the stuffed chicken breast for dinner. Also, the gobs were amazing (red velvet & almond torte)and I don't usually like gobs!! Just remember it's BYOB!

The food was good but the dessert was a bit disappointing on the pre-fixe menu. There was no selection, just gobs that were a bit dry and not very tasty. I have had breakfast there and it was wonderful. I probably would not go back to a pre-fixe type meal there but will definitely go back for breakfast and lunch.

This site has been various restaurants over the years, but, this was my first time there. It is a repurposed ranch style house and there are several dining rooms. We sat in the "living room" which had a fireplace burning. They are currently BYOB but will be adding alcohol. The corkage fee is $8. They pride themselves on all homemade "comfort" food and the desserts looked wonderful. We had French onion soup, fried fish sandwich big enough for two, mixed greens salad, mac and cheese containing sweet sausage, mushroom and sweet pepper. All delicious. Alas! No room for dessert. The also serve breakfast and lunch. Will be back with another friend to try something different.

Food was really fresh and delicious and very reasonably priced. The menu offered multiple vegan options for our friend. Service was also prompt, which was very much appreciated since we were on our way to a play.
