Cellar 56Our monthly wine group decidedOur monthly wine group decided to go here instead of doing it in home. We were not disappointed. Nice place, good service and good food. The good was nothing that I would rush back for but was all enjoyable that evening.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMNot Your Average CellarMy friends and I were in town for the weekend and stopped at Celalr 56 for a late night snack after the Atlanta Hawks game. The food was amazing - the portion sizes were perfect and the taste of the various dishes were amazing. The wine selection was very extensive as well.
When I walked in, I was expecting the restaruant to be more represenative of a cellar, however, it is well decorated, open and airy and could be very romantic as well. But the true finds of Cellar 56 are the desserts, particularly the S'mores and the Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding. The wine list was incredible and my server was so knowledgeable.
The food is tapas style , so we ordered a few small plates which were all very reasonably priced and outstanding. The quality of food is out of this world.
