We had a 6:00 PM reservation made through Open Table. When we arrived the place was a madhouse with a line extended out the door. We were not seated until after 6:30 PM. Not much of a reservation. Food was good. Waitress was very nice, cordial, not frazzled and with what was going on she could have been. Had to wait outside and it was cold.

We come to the Celebration Town Tavern once a year when we come to Orlando. We love the ambiance, especially during the holidays. We have been twice during the town Christmas tree lighting. Last year it was after the Thanksgiving day weekend and it was much calmer. This year it was on the Thanksgiving day weekend and the area was PACKED. However, we had a reservation and the Tavern didn't disappoint with very reasonably priced food and drinks. Love this place!

If you are looking for true New England fried seafood you must visit Celebration Town Tavern. Their clam chowder is second to none. The perfect golden fry on their foods will bring a tear to your eye if you're from New England. Nothing goes better with a fried dinner than an ice cold beer and their selection is exhaustive. Give yourself a treat and try their homemade Celebration Ale. I've been to this restaurant several times and have always found the staff to be warm, welcoming, attentive, and efficient. I only regret that I don't live closer to this restaurant. Beware of the onion rings, though, because they pile them so high you'll never be able to eat them all if you plan on eating anything else. Bravo!

I ordered a BBQ Burger. When the server brought a bowl&wipes I asked what we needed these for and he said your Ribs. I then stated that I ordered the BBQ Burger he replied we don't do that it is not on the menu. I was taken aback as I was sure it was on the menu and what I had ordered but the server was adamant that it was not and I had been mistaken, I then accepted that I must have been mistaken. After I had finished my Ribs I went and checked the menu outside and found that I had been correct about my order so I spoke to our server and he said that menu had changed and they were phasing out this dish and took no responsibility. I said that I was not happy as I was made to feel it was my fault. The online menu still has BBQ burger on.

Thickest, tastiest New England clam chowder!!! My cousin ordered a cup. Invited me to stick my fork in. Fork came out coated with the chowder, tasted delicious and even had clam pieces stuck to it. Fried clams with sweet and not greasy. Seafood platter was outstanding. I loved my steamed clams. Noisy, not romantic. "99 bottled beers" Will return with more friends and family. Not many places have authentic NE seafood as fresh and well-prepared as this restaurant.

Good service, good ambience, great location. Server was quick to recommend the restaurant's signature seafood medley to our party of three. All three portions -- whether baked or broiled -- were overcooked and oversalted. Stick to basic pub fare and you'll be much happier.

Too many crying tiny babies at 8.30 on a Saturday night, 2 beside us too. Waiter was great and food was nice but all these restaurants in Celebration are full of babies/young kids on a Saturday night not what I want after a 6 day work week, crying and screaming. Thai Thani up there was the same last visit. Back to Sand Lake Road I think.

99 Beers but not one Australian beer on the list. Third time we have used opentable at this location and it seems although we mention it when we first arrive we always need to keep reminding them so we get credit for out dining experience. Waitress even said there are no discounts for open table despite being told we just wanted our dining points to be applied. Our food was hit or miss as well, onion rings didnt seem cooked well enough and our fish seemed like it still had alot of oil left in it. I once loved this place but the service and food seems to be very hit and miss. Might start trying other places from no on.

This was our second time here, the first time we went we loved it. This time we requested to eat outside, little did we know they would seat us in the outside bar area. We have 3 young children, and they did have a separate outdoor dining area away from the bar, so I can't understand why they sat us there. They put us in the closest table to the actual bar and as the night progressed the bar scene became much larger and louder, people were literally standing on top of our table. It was awful, and on top of it all our dinners never came. We kept asking and then finally our waiter found out the ticket had been lost. We said to forget it and they took it off our bill. I would still go back, but if you have kids, make sure to eat inside!

We always enjoy our time at The Tavern at Celebration. They serve the best NE style seafood around. Add to that the location across the street from a lovely lake with rocking chairs & benches. On our last visit, the prime rib & fried seafood plate was fantastic. Then we watched two alligators swim around the lake as the sun went down.

Consistently good food and service every time! Great that they are one open table because sometimes they have quite a wait! If you are searching for a true taste on New England in Florida, this is your spot! You can even see it "snow" in the winter just around the corner! Everything is fresh and tasty, and if you are a Sam Adams fan, they have pretty much the entire brewery at all times! I love Cherry Wheat, and it's hard to find, but a permanent fixture on their menu! They are notable for their extensive beer list "99 beers". Great food, great atmosphere, and a great eatery for the whole family!

Waitress was excellent. However, food was okay, lobster roll wasn't a roll, no mayo, celery just a bunch of lobster on a roll. The onion rings were hard, like over fried. The fried food platter was pretty good except for the oysters, they were soggy but the scrod was excellent. I would go back but not until I tried the other restaurants in the area.

My family and I enjoyed a good meal on a busy night in Celebration (Exotic Car Night). My Black and Blue burger was delicious. Severval family members enjoyed the baked seafood dishes. My mother found her fried Scrod to be bland. That was the only complaint about the food. The service was okay, but not stellar. A very busy Friday night didn't help. Still overall a good family meal out to remember our trip.

Very good food and the service was excellent. Surprised me considering how busy it was. Seafood is there speciality so a lot of choices if you like seafood. My wife had the fried oysters while I had the baby back ribs. Large selection of non seafood if your like me and don't like seafood.Definitely recomnend if your in the area. Celebration FL. I have been to the Town Tavern many times over the years. I've never been blown away by any of the entries except the lobster roll. This last time was the same. The Fish and Chips were terrible, not seasoned and very soft and greasy. The actual fish was great. No brewed sweet tea is cop out. You are a nice restaurant in Celebration, FL with 99 beers, brew your tea. Service was not great. Long wait to get drinks, silverware and check.

A reservation doesn't seem to get you much here. Still had to wait for an appropriate table for our group even though the table we required was empty and available. They to seat us outside where it was cold, windy and the brick floor makes tables lean to one side. We finally got the table we wanted and the server was attentive and professional. I would normally ignore the situation with our seating given there were six of us but we noticed this to be a problem for other groups as well. One person in our party also received a completely uncooked order of scallops that our server immediately took back to the kitchen.

I would have to admit that I was a little let down by our most recent visit. I decided to surprise my wife with a nice lunch as today is her birthday, I had made my reservation and attached some minor requests to the order placed on opentable. I had requested that after arriving someone bring over to the table her favorite drink without having to order it. About half way through through the meal I asked if they could make sure I would get credit for my opentable booking with the hope they would look at the notes and catch it before we left. The food was great as always, we had a special minor request that would have been perfect and despite two attempts at trying to get them to notice it we left without the drink.

We were in Kissimee for a Disney vacation and plans fell through at the last minute. We had no idea where to bring our 3 kids besides the typical strip mall "Disco Food" joints. We wanted soemthing better, and more of a local fell. I went to Open Table on my smart phone and started searching. After reading reviews of a couple of local spots from other guests, we picked The Town Tavern. SOOO Happy we did, great food, appropriatly priced, and the Open Table reservation had us wait only 4 minutes after we arrived, and the walk in wait time was one hour!!! The Tavern is a GEM, and the Boston Feel is Spot On, as we are from Boston, and felt right at home with some Wicked Good Food.
