We were so pleased with our experience that we would highly recommend it to everyone wanting an excelent meal and quite/ romantic ambiance. The service was friendly and very knowledgible. The proprietor even came by and spoke with us for several minutes about his passion and our experience. The wine list was diverse and broad. The deserts looked incredible, we just couldn't add to our already full bellies. We started with the crispy calimary with the organge ginger glaze (Winner)! We also strated with the macadamia crusted goat cheese(yum)! For our main courses we had the seared ahi tuna and diver scallops. I had duck which is something I don't usually order, but thought what the heck? It was delicious! My boyfriend had the scallops and crab cake...also, great. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience. He told us to sit on the patio; even though a cool night the two top next to the fireplace was great. Server was nice & knowledgable, happily accommodated our request for a modification of an appetizer (add two scallops to the crab cake, they are FANTASTIC). Caesar salad was a bit more acidic than I'm accustomed to, but still very good. Wife had the stuffed chicken breast. She added a touch of salt but was otherwise perfect. I had the special; lamb sirloin w/ goat cheese au gratin potatoes and green beans. The lamb was closer to rare than the ordered temp of med, delicious just the same. Stand out item on the plate were the potatoes. Welcoming, professional, helpful to patrons, as well as staff helping rest of staff without resentment. The food was delicious, served hot and exactly as described. Service was friendly, but not overbearing. We were a party of six and each individual enjoyed their meal. This was the best sea bass I have ever had in a restaurant. It was moist and flavorful, with crisp skin. Lamb shank was prepared the way lamb should be served. Portions were equal to pricing. Becuase of that it often gets overlooked. We are locals and sometimes even forget about it as well. But no more. Our meal was one of the best I have ever had. My Grilled Lamb was done perfectly with a fantastic mushroom risotto and sauteed spinach as supplements. My wife enjoyed a ribbon pasta with a pulled pork/mushroom sauce and my fifteen year old son scarfed down the pepper seared ahi. We opened with the always fantastic calamari and a special beet salad. Everything was top notch, the service, the outdoor ambience, but most importantly the food. They have a lovely indoor dining room and a closed in patio where we ate that is divine. We sat by a fire place surrounded by a virtual garden. Our waiter, Shawn, was right on top of things, fun, and helped to make the dinner special. The food was perfectly prepared and beautifully presented.
