Located on Biltmore Estate, this warm, relaxing tavern overlooks the village green at Antler Hill Village. The décor, ambience, and menu pay tribute to the neighborhood pubs of Britain and Ireland. Enjoy satisfying pub fare alongside robustly flavored American and global cuisine presented with Biltmore flair. On tap are Biltmore's own Cedric's Pale Ale and Cedric's Brown Ale in addition to award-winning Biltmore wines and a full bar. Outdoor dining is available in season.



A valid paid Biltmore Estate admission ticket, Biltmore Twelve Month Pass, or current lodging at the Inn on Biltmore Estate are required to visit any Biltmore restaurant. Late day/evening Antler Hill Village only tickets are also available - inquire at the Biltmore Welcome Center.

  • "We were seated promptly after arriving, our server was friendly and knew the menu. The salads were just so so. I had the fish and chips, which was very good. Large piece of haddock, very mild. My daughter ordered the vegetable risotto and enjoyed it very much. We all ordered a dessert to share, I forget the name of it but it was a peanut butter brownie with ice cream, caramel sauce, peanuts, and caramel corn. It was very tasty! The only complaint of the evening was from the two older members of our party who did not like the entertainment. It was a jazz/rhythm guitarist, very loud, and while good, was just a little too much at times - it would have been more appropriate had the music been a little quieter and calmer."

  • "We love the live acoustic nights. Visit the winery for free tasting prior to dinner for a great overall evening experience. The only downfall was we chose our favorite wine at the tasting and they did not even have it available at the restaurant. But, we love it here for lunch or dinner."

  • "The excellent service was the most notable thing about our visit. The staff made us feel welcomed and spoiled. I had the chicken breast with bread pudding, which was well presented and delicious. The description, in the menu, did say it came with an asparagus salad but mine was missing. I did not mention it to the waiter so I'm not sure how it would have been handled. Anyway, my friend had the shepherd's pie and thoroughly enjoyed it."

Be sure to ask for some pickles if your server doesn't bring them to you. You can buy those, too. Cedric's is a must for lunch &/or dinner when visiting Biltmore."

  • "Enjoyed a New Year's Eve lunch with my husband. We like to split a meal, so we chose the fish and chips. It was plenty of food and they brought it in two separate plates-very hot and delicious! For starters we enjoyed some Ginger wings-pretty good,but not as flavorful as expected. My husband enjoyed Coke with free refills and I had a nice cup of Herbal Ginger tea. If I had wine, I would've enjoyed some Christmas White-every year I love this! I brought some home. The waiter was very kind and attentive, but not overbearing. It was a lovely lunch! Afterward, we toured the poinsettia display in the greenhouse. I will definitely use this reservation service again!"

  • "This restaurant was nothing more than bland theme park food served in a building styled as an English Pub. The food was average at best and a bit greasy. The specialty/seasonal drinks were undrinkable - stay away from the Caramel Moon-tini. Some of staff were unhelpful. When asked for additional information about one of the sandwiches, the waiter repeated the menu word-for-word, offering nothing else."

  • "We had a 5:45 PM reservation and arrived early. We were seated within a few minutes, but did not care for the choice of tables since it was directly across from the kitchen and quite noisy. We asked to be moved and were. The next table (booth really) was very comfortable. Two of us had the Bison Burger and one had Fish and Chips. All were prepared excellent. Our server, Christoper, was attentive but did not hover. He made good suggestions about the preparation of the burgers. The musician, Eric Congdon, was excellent, and added to a nice atmosphere where you could hear his music (which was extremely enjoyable), but you could still talk over it without having to shout. All in all we had a wonderful time."

  • "Excellent restaurant with excellent food and staff. Mix that with the views of the Biltmore Estate that surround you and you have a guaranteed find that will make you want to come back again. The staff gives you such attention that one feels as if the restaurant is serving only you. Eclectic dishes at reasonable prices add even more to the ambience of the establishment. If you are planning a trip to the area this is a must stop . Outdoor seating in warmer weather will offer an even more relaxed dinning experience. Enjoy!"

  • "This is a great place to meet and have a meal (I.e., lunch or dinner). Some nights they have live music which tends to be live so the entire restaurant is live so be warned. Shepherds Pie is with Lamb so if you have never had lamb it is a different taste. The burger is absolutely wonderful but make sure you get it medium well because the meat is much more lean than our standard beef. And it is to die for."

  • "Four of us had a delightful early dinner at Cedric's before the Candlelight Christmas tour at the Biltmore Estate. Our timing was tight - a 5:15 reservation and a 6:30 tour entry. We were set at ease by our timely seating, prompt service and the reassurance that our entry time merely meant that it was the earliest that we could enter. (So our arrival 15 minutes "late" after parking and taking the shuttle, was just fine.) Dinner was delicious, with three out of four having the trout. One of those trout eaters normally doesn't order fish! Desserts were 2 orders of Apple cranberry cobbler, shared. Wine choice was their Pinot Grigio. Everything was excellent!"

The atmosphere was a little loud, but we were still able to talk and catch up as we had not seen each other in a while. The wine was, of course, very good. I would definitely come back."
