Delicious and craftfully prepared authentic lebanese food and drink! The servers are attentive, fun, and on-point. We've been coming year for years and while there is a bit of good Mediterranean food in Orlando, nothing compares to Cedars. The kibbeh nayeh is AMAZING, and all of the grilled meats have a flavor, texture and perfection that is second to none. Even the rice here is a cut above!

  • We went to Cedar's last year
    OpenTable Diner Since 2009
    Dined on 5/13/2012
We went to Cedar's last year for Mother's Day and loved it. But, not everyone could make it so we went again for Mother's Day dinner and had the "Lebanese Feast." We all loved the food and had a great time. I made reservations for the family, so we were seated promptly. Service was great (again). Only downside was that the patio was reserved the entire night for hooka which I didn't think to reserve so we were unable to get on the patio. Unfortunately my mom was looking forward to hooka, and we weren't able to do it. My recommendation would be to make reservations for the dining area and patio if you want to partake in both. Despite that we would certainly be going back and recommend going!

The consistency of Cedars is AMAZING. I was in a party of 4 for this visit, and yet again the food and service were spot on. Instead of entree's we ordered multiple appetizers and went tapas style. Everything was delicious, though the sauteed chicken livers could've had a touch less lemon juice. Cedars has the best hummus in Orlando hands down, and their kibbeh nayeh is fresh, delicious, and artfully made! To top it all off the owner is present and takes great care to make sure that his guests are enjoying their food and the atmosphere.

  • Orlando's Best Mediterranean

This is hands down the best Mediterranean cuisine in Orlando. I have been eating at Cedars regularly for years, and the consistency and quality of the food continues to amaze me. I've also made a point to both try many different things on the menu and to sample the nearby competition. There's just no comparison. Whether's chicken, lamb, beef, fish, or veg appetizers...WOW. The food is authetnic to the region, the service is stellar, and the atmosphere inviting and comfortable.

Being of Lebanese descent, I can honestly say that this is very authentic and delicious Lebanese cuisine! There's a wide variety of options, including many vegetarian dishes and an assortment of different meats too. We ordered several dishes (mezza) and they got each one of them right! There's also a live band and belly dancer on the weekends. This is also one of the few Orlando area restaurants that serves a full menu until midnight! Highly recommended.

The review said live music, dancing, there was none of that. Service was super slow and the food did not reflect the true Lebanese cuisines. The pricepoint is certainly $$$ but the fodd just does not live upto that.

Cedars is my "touchstone" restaurant when in Orlando. The service, the food, the timing, the ambience, the prices, are all good reasons to be there. The authentic bellydancer on certain evenings adds a really fun touch, and we'll get to the hookah experience next trip. I recommend Cedars to anyone, whether they've experienced Lebanese dining or not.

Not such great service as we expected especially for a birthday and plus they didn't even offer dessert! Anyway the lamb chops were good, but you could use help with decor and maybe update the place a little.

Food has been constantly fabulous when we have dined at Cedars. They make their own pita bread fresh on as needed bases. It is the only place where we eat bread. At times we get large to go orders for parties and everyone has always enjoyed the food.

  • I have always had good food

I have always had good food at Cedars. The hummus is delicious and the warm pocket bread is my favorite bread basket in all of Orlando. I ordered the Chicken Cedars which was tender, juicy, and well seasoned. My guests ordered the lamb kabob and chicken kabob. The chicken was moist and not dry at all. The lamb was probably the most delicious of the meals: juicy, seasoned, cooked properly, and tender... best lamb in town! The service at Cedars is usually fine to good. However, this visit the service was barely passable. It took over 10 minutes for our waters to arrive, even longer for the wine. Server only returned to bring our check after our meal was delivered. All three water glasses were empty and not refilled.

  • An independent gem near IDrive

I'm in Orlando a few times a year on business & saw Cedar's last time I was on Restaurant Row/Sandlake Rd. I enjoy Lebanese cuisine & found Cedars is independently owned (making it a rarity amongst all the good but corporately owned restaurants in the vicinity). Less than 10 min. drive from my hotel near the conv ctr on International Drive makes it an easy dining option for visitors but most of the diners were locals and included tables for 2 as well as several family tables of 8-12, making for a festive atmosphere. Our waiter guided us well and my friend and I shared several appetizers and several entrees & a baklava for dessert. All delicious. Next trip to Orlando we will certainly dine at Cedars. Delicious & pleasant atmosphere.

We have been going to Cedars since they opened. It is our fall-back restaurant for large groups. They have handled groups of up to 24 people very efficiently. Our guests love the appetizers! On weekends, the dancers and outdoor pipes make for a very festive atmosphere. Inside is subdued and elegant if that is what your group is looking for. Reliable staff and attention to detail make this one of our favorite restaurants. And the Lebanese food is terrific!
