This was our first time dining at Cedar's. My husband and I were having a night away from the kids and wanted to treat ourselves. From stat to finish, our meal was fantastic. We ordered cocktails, appetizer and the 3 course meal for two special. The food was delicious and we were more than satisfied. Would definitely come back to Cedar's!

We decided to check out Cedars after we were told it was renovated. The place looks really nice with new plush carpets but that's where it ends. The food is very plain - asparagus - steamed plain no seasoning, mushrooms - 8 caps of mushrooms plain steamed not even salt on - almost like hospital food. Steak was decent but for non prime 16oz bone in ribeye for $48 - being bone in and 16oz the steak was about 3/4'' thick. The crab cake was decent size but for $18 it was all back fin crab! Scallops app was our favorite. Service was just below ok. The worst part of the experience was the wine service. The restaurant has very limited wine selection so we have decided to bring our own bottle. We called ahead and asked for the corkage fee and were told it was $25-$40 per bottle - never heard of the range for the fee? Is it based on the price of the wine I bring? Is it based on how much we spent? Needless to say, server opened the bottle for us and that was it - we had to pour wine ourselves all night. Lastly we get a check and the corkage fee is $45 (forgot to mention we started with 2 glasses of prosecco for $18 each). On the way out I asked the manager how much was the fee and was told it was $40 this time. Overall we felt rubbed. Unless you are casino player with tons of points to burn stay away.

The Staff was just wonderful. They went out of their way to find herbal tea because it wasn't on hand that evening. Most places give you a "sorry we're all out". Cedar's staff hunted down three sachets. The communication with the kitchen was excellent as well since two out of three in the party have food allergies. We weren't an "easy" group, we asked lots of questions, and they handled it with grace and poise.

Cedars is always a great dining experience if you are looking for something more upscale and elegant than the alternatives at Foxwoods. We celebrated my mom's 65th and the food was very good. We had filet with lobster. Lobster was an impressive size but not sure if it was fresh or frozen. The meat is always a safe and delicious choice. Service was excellent! Wine list very good. We will definitely be back again! Thank you for a great birthday celebration.

Cedars is as good a steak restaurant as one can hope for within the large casino complex. Food and service were excellent, the atmosphere very nice given the hustle and bustle of the surroundings. A great spot for a better than average dinner when at Foxwoods.

I recently visited foxwoods for my 22nd birthday. We made a reservation for 7:15 and we were seated in a booth within five minutes of arriving. Once we sat down, it took a little long for our waiter, I think his name was Ray, to come over and take our order, but it was pretty busy, so I didn't really mind. The pinot noir was great. The bread and raspberry butter was out of this world. I ordered a caesar salad and a filet mignon for my meal. The salad tasted great, my only criticism was that there could have been a little less dressing. My filet was exactly how a filet is supposed to taste. My only bad experience was our busser took my fiancé's plate before I was finished, that is my pet peeve. Overall great restaurant.

Part of a package deal we purchased at Foxwoods. Food was fair. Entrees were very overpriced and meager portions. Had the filet mignon and lobster tail and my daughter had the swordfish. Two appetizers of tomatoes with feta and onion which was good and grilled mushrooms which was tasteless. We are not over eaters and try to dine healthy but we walked away hungry. Wine was reasonable and ended with espresso and Sambuca. Service was very good but always dislike restaurants that want to clear your plate before you are finished. Overall, would not return again!

We had dinner reservations for 6:45, and we did not get seated until after 7:00 In the mean time, we went over to the bar to have a drink while we waited. The bartenders did not great us, or even acknowledge we were sitting there until we actually called him over. We sat down shortly after for dinner, and put our food order in right away. I specifically asked for a side or sweet potato plain, and that wasn't brought out. She had also forgot my boyfriends wine. When we reminded her of that, it was if she couldnt be bothered. The busser came over to the table about 4 times to see if we were done in the matter of 20 min. Over all, I was EXTREMELY disappointed to pay 300$ for dinner, and not have exceptional service. We will not be back there.

Like most steak houses in casino resorts, Cedars is on the expensive side. However, an unadvertised bargain is what is called the 2 for $75 menu. It is limited in options, and portions are a bit smaller (that is fine with me) but a great option. You get soup or salad, a choice from three or four entrees, and dessert. Two people, $75. Almost always order this option. Ask for it. If you don't ask it will not be offered.

We visit Foxwoods often and do not have a wampum card for privacy. The au jou that came along with the prime rib was like water. Our waiter Ramon mumbled, we could barely understand what the specials were, we had to as him to repeat. He charged us the wrong amount for the bottle of wine we ordered, and was not attentive at all. The bread was dropped on our table. Overall the prime rib and filet were ok, we will stick with dining at Burkes for steak when we dine at Foxwoods.

My wife and I had a wonderful dining experience. Everything from reservations, table service, and restaurant management was wonderful. We enjoyed our appetizer, my wife enjoyed her meal, drinks etc., and for the most part everything was wonderful with the exception of the Aged Rib-eye steak that I ordered. It was cooked perfectly, but it was lacking in it tenderness. Although it was cooked medium rare to perfection. I casually mentioned it to the server who promptly notified the manager anyway. Another example of the quality dining place this truly is. I explained the situation. Regardless, I know that this is a top notch restaurant and we will definitely be going back to give it another try.

Cedars Steakhouse is an EXCELLENT place to go if you want an OUTSTANDING EXPERIENCE the next time (and EVERY time) you go there!! The food was DELICIOUS and more than ample in portion size. I had stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer. They were stuffed with sausage and very tasty. The French onion Soup was EXCELLENT! The Prime Rib was Medium Rare the way I ordered it and melt in your mouth tender. The waitstaff was PHENOMENAL especially the hostess Alyssa!! She is as sweet as she is adorable. She is also fun loving and willing to join in the fun.

Made a reservation with my boyfriend for our anniversary. He is a steak lover, me a vegetarian. I didn't see anything vegetarian on the menu and was expecting to eat just usual side dishes, but I figured id just ask the waitor if they had a vegetarian menu. He says he would inquire and the manager came over to our table within minutes and asked me "what can we make for you?" Even asked all my dietary restrictions and offered a custom pasta/vegetable dish. Unbelievable! And very very delicious. Oh and my boyfriend said his steak (porterhouse) was perfect. I was impressed at level of care and service here. Definitely recommend Cedars to anyone at Foxwoods. It's a real winner.

Although the food was quite good and the service was fine, there was a sense of snobbishness there. We're used to upscale dining, and this is good-to-very-good. But compared to Al Dente in the same complex and price-range, it's a bit too "snooty" for my comfort (especially the greeters/seaters in front of house). Al Dente is just a bit friendlier.

My hubby and I were looking for a reasonable (price wise) steakhouse to celebrate his birthday. All I can say is for $170 bill I should have just added 100 more and would of had a much more enjoyable meal at the other steakhouse on site. Both the food and service were horrible. If I were offered a complimentary meal there I would not take it. Lesson learned and money wasted.
