Varied menu, with new takes on some old favorites.....appetizers Fried Mac and Cheese, Fried Calamari with an Asian dipping sauce, and my favorite, Pulled Pork Sliders topped with tangy cole slaw. Been here several times, order different entrees each time...all wonderful. This week we tried the Rigatoni alla Vodka which was perfectly done, al dente, with shaved parmesean cheese. We also ordered the Short Ribs over mashed potatoes in a delicious sauce. They were so tender you didn't even need a knife. Our favorite dessets, the Banana Betty and the Creme Brulee. We often go with large groups with and without children and they are always very accommodating. They have a lot of different options and a great beer menu as well. The food is good and the prices are reasonable. This past week was Restaurant Week so they had a 3 course special for $27.95. I had the Beets with Goat Cheese, Chicken Milanese w/Arugula and Creme Brûlée for dessert....everything was nicely prepared and tasty. I have to give my dessert an extra star as it was especially creamy and the caramelized topping was crispy and delicious. Portions are generous as well. The food was especially good this time and the waiter was particularly helpful. One of us had a few issues and the waiter was very accommodating. Our table wasn't situated in the best place but we were all very able to hear each other-unlike most restaurants in Long Island.
