Diner Reviews
  • "Very nice place, well decorated, trendy but at the same time very inviting. During summer time is too hot and humid to dine outside at the Courtyard, the tables in the A/C area are set up more like a lounge and not very friendly for eating."

  • "Came to Miami to celebrate mine and my fiancé's respective bachelor and bachelorette weekends. We decided to spend an extra night in Miami together to have dinner at Cecconi's (our favorite Miami romantic spot) to celebrate our engagement and it being exactly 2 months till our wedding. The food and ambiance were incredible! Our waiter on the other hand didn't care much if we were there since he rarely came by or asked how anything was."

  • "Our hostess pointed us in the direction of our table to seat ourselves. Our server was not bad but seemed disinterested."

  • "Food was excellent and service was attentive. Only disappointment was that the velour-covered bench was stained, dirty and littered with crumbs."

  • "Friends had given Cecconi's raving reviews, but I was not expecting to have the same experience! Everything exceeded my expectations. Service was great (a little slow on water and drinks though) food was top-notch, and the restaurant is just beautiful!"

  • "we didn't know that saturday lunch, they serve only brunch. But even though, it was ok. we seated in the hotel lobby (!!??) because it was very hot outside. The service kind of sloppy, few options, but the food was great and the ambience is very nice. Deserves a second visit."

  • "We love coming here every time we are in Miami! The food never disappoints (amazing spaghetti with lobster and chicken paillard). But best of all is the service! The staff is amazingly trained to treat customers with upmost respect."

  • "The girl told us to wait at the bar. We wait there for 1,5 hours and many people came later than us and have a table before us because they say hello to the manager. Dont take reservations!!"

  • "I went here with my family for my 30's birthday and we all loved it! The servers are italian, and very friendly. The service was outstanding, the food delicious, and the ambiance super romantic!!! The seatings are outside!! Its a little hot during the summer, but they have a few fans around. If you are in Miami, you need to eat here. You will love it!"

  • "I was referred here by a fashionable and worldly friend of mine and had high expectations going into the evening. Cecconi's did not disappoint. I was kind of surprised by the informal dining room, but it worked out fine. I wish it was more romantic like the outside area, but I wanted to sit near the live music inside. The piano needed tuning, but otherwise ambiance was great. The service was impeccable. We had a very knowledgable waiter. Best of all was the food. We shared the plin agnolotti and cannelloni pasta dishes starting with the butter lettuce and avocado salad. The salad was good, but the pastas were absolutely delicious! They were so flavorful that I wanted to savor every bite. I would definitely go back and will refer to others."

  • "Went for my gf's b-day and it was nice, pretty decor with the lighting and all. Food was good as well, had the calamari & meatballs for appetizers. Gf had the duck pasta (real good) I had the rigatoni bolognese (real good also) to finish had the key lime pie... Overall nice restaurant, would go back......"

  • "My friend and I went to Cecconi's to spend some quality girl time and were very delighted with the service - especially our server Dariel - (I hope I spelled that right). The ambiance, the sitting set up, the wine list, the quality of the food, the service...every detail was great. We will for sure go back to enjoy the outdoor bar which we didn't enjoy this time. Keep up the good work !"

  • "Great restaurant, great food and lovely setting. The real downside was being asked to pay $80 to park my car. Then they reduced this to $40!! Why is when you go to a restaurant in Miami they rip you off with the valet, I thought the idea of service was to be served and valet is part of the restaurants cost in having quests or customers go to eat there."

  • "We had the best date night at this restaurant! The ambiance its outstanding! very romantic! with dim lights and the indoor/outdoor feeling was very nice. Although in the summer it gets hot, just try to go after 8pm when its cooler. The service was top notch! Wine list was amazing! The food was good it wasn't out of this world but the ambiance and service make this restaurant a winner. I would definitely come back to this place. The valet its $25 ... so that's a downside too."

  • "The best trouffle pizza ever!!! The trouffle caneloni was wonderful too"

  • "We went for an anniversary dinner and had a great experience. Most of the restaurant is outside, but under cover. It was hot and loud, and the staff suggested we would be more comfortable inside. We were seated in the hotel lobby, at a table with a large window overlooking the main dining area. The seating was so comfortable -- large armchairs with pillows! Service was wonderful; our waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful. And the food was delicious. The burrata appetizer blew us away, as did the pasta special, with porcini mushrooms. Chocolate mousse dessert finished the dinner perfectly. After dinner we walked next door to the Fountainebleu for some great people-watching! Highly recommended!"

  • "Dinner was fabulous. I wanted a special lovely night out for my boyfriends birthday and we got just that. However the menu wasn't as extensive as I would have liked but we ended up just sharing a few things which was fine. Pasta special wasn't that impressive. But the ambiance was great I loved the lighting and the hanging lanterns/bulbs all around. We ended up sitting in the lounge after dinner while we listened to live music and having a glass of wine. We really enjoyed each others company. I was completely satisfied with the whole evening."

  • "We booked Sunday brunch 2 weeks ago from London. As regulars to the US we subscribe to the Sunday brunch tradition and try a new place each time we are in the US. Cecconi's is a buzzy, noisy family affair and expect to mix with octogenarians (who come for the delicious buffet) hipsters (it's an outpost of soho house) and families (very child friendly). I don't think you'd find this mix of people ANYWHERE. This is testament to the experience of dining Cecconi's offers. The food was delicious and the choice vast and you can try everything. Particularly good are the shrimp and spinach quiche, though my partner raved about the roast beef. Don't miss the experience. Choose to sit outdoors"

  • "I've been twice for the brunch feast and I can't wait to go again. I have also attended the Old Fashion Wednesday nights, great music, ambiance and signature drinks served plentiful. As for the brunch, absolutely delicious food to choose from! Don't miss the oysters, salmon tartar or the lamb! There is something for everyone, plenty of vegatarian options too. The outdoor dining is gorgeous and the staff is impeccable."

  • "Disappointing!! Reserved for 22:30 and when I arrived, they told me that the kitchen closed 23:00!!!! The service was just like Mcdonalds. Lousy. They should have warned me on the reservation. Very limited menu, poor."

  • "Meal was amazing, wait staff perfect. Only complaint was being told by the hostess my daughter and I had an amazing table waiting for us. We were promptly escorted to a table shoved in the back corner with an oscillating fan blowing in our hair. The waiter turned it off per my request. Not my first time at this restaurant but please, unless you are a celebrity wishing not to be seen, do not accept table 115, unless of course you want to look at a wall all evening."

  • "Go there you won't be disappointed! Better probably at night for the ambiance! Romantic, charming, good food and good service! "

  • "Our big problem with Cecconi's was narrowing down the menu for just two people. Next time we'll bring no less than six and insist everyone share. Also, the waiter made everything sound life altering, so we over-ordered a bit. We came on the evening of a menu change as well, so we were able to order from both the incoming menu and the outgoing. The burrata was creamy and delicious on top of heirloom tomatoes with a drizzle of very old balsamic vinegar that was as sweet as maple syrup but gave it that characteristic tang that brought everything together. The Branzino came filleted and slightly crisped on one side (I like Branzino whole so I can fillet it) but my girlfriend prefers having someone else do the work so she was thrilled."

  • "Front desk lady was very rude. We got there at 7:00 at opening time after having a resurvation and tables were not even ready. It was an "okay" experience, not what we thought it would be."

  • "The restaurant is very well located and has a good customer. However, the food portions are very small and expensive. The highlight of the evening was a trip to the bathroom where I saw an excellent pianist and a wonderful bass player playing jazz."

  • "Dinner at Cecconi's very good, because the place is very nice and the food is very good. This time we ordered the pasta with black truffle and missed the truffle. The explanation that was not tartufo season did not please us. The correct would have removed the dish from the menu."

  • "There were five big bugs running on the floor so that many guests wanted to move the table to somewhere else which was not immediately possible"
