Diner Reviews
  • "We went for an anniversary dinner and had a great experience. Most of the restaurant is outside, but under cover. It was hot and loud, and the staff suggested we would be more comfortable inside. We were seated in the hotel lobby, at a table with a large window overlooking the main dining area. The seating was so comfortable -- large armchairs with pillows! Service was wonderful; our waiter was very knowledgeable and helpful. And the food was delicious. The burrata appetizer blew us away, as did the pasta special, with porcini mushrooms. Chocolate mousse dessert finished the dinner perfectly. After dinner we walked next door to the Fountainebleu for some great people-watching! Highly recommended!"

  • "Dinner was fabulous. I wanted a special lovely night out for my boyfriends birthday and we got just that. However the menu wasn't as extensive as I would have liked but we ended up just sharing a few things which was fine. Pasta special wasn't that impressive. But the ambiance was great I loved the lighting and the hanging lanterns/bulbs all around. We ended up sitting in the lounge after dinner while we listened to live music and having a glass of wine. We really enjoyed each others company. I was completely satisfied with the whole evening."

  • "I've been twice for the brunch feast and I can't wait to go again. I have also attended the Old Fashion Wednesday nights, great music, ambiance and signature drinks served plentiful. As for the brunch, absolutely delicious food to choose from! Don't miss the oysters, salmon tartar or the lamb! There is something for everyone, plenty of vegatarian options too. The outdoor dining is gorgeous and the staff is impeccable."

  • "We booked Sunday brunch 2 weeks ago from London. As regulars to the US we subscribe to the Sunday brunch tradition and try a new place each time we are in the US. Cecconi's is a buzzy, noisy family affair and expect to mix with octogenarians (who come for the delicious buffet) hipsters (it's an outpost of soho house) and families (very child friendly). I don't think you'd find this mix of people ANYWHERE. This is testament to the experience of dining Cecconi's offers. The food was delicious and the choice vast and you can try everything. Particularly good are the shrimp and spinach quiche, though my partner raved about the roast beef. Don't miss the experience. Choose to sit outdoors"

  • "My bf and I were staying in the FontaineBleau tower right next door to Soho Beach House, and heard that the brunch at Cecconi's was fabulous. We needed to eat earlier than 11AM, so we opted to go to Cecconi's during breakfast hours. It was just perfect for casually taking our time to relax before having to leave Miami. The charcuterie and fresh fruit on the buffet was delicious and my bf ordered off the menu– eggs, bacon, & side of blackberries. He was thrilled to receive a bowl full :) It was like having a dreamy breakfast at home- with a butler and a fabulous seaside villa. Cecconi's for breakfast before leaving Miami is our newest tradition and I can't wait to be back!"

  • "Disappointing!! Reserved for 22:30 and when I arrived, they told me that the kitchen closed 23:00!!!! The service was just like Mcdonalds. Lousy. They should have warned me on the reservation. Very limited menu, poor."

  • "Meal was amazing, wait staff perfect. Only complaint was being told by the hostess my daughter and I had an amazing table waiting for us. We were promptly escorted to a table shoved in the back corner with an oscillating fan blowing in our hair. The waiter turned it off per my request. Not my first time at this restaurant but please, unless you are a celebrity wishing not to be seen, do not accept table 115, unless of course you want to look at a wall all evening."

  • "Our big problem with Cecconi's was narrowing down the menu for just two people. Next time we'll bring no less than six and insist everyone share. Also, the waiter made everything sound life altering, so we over-ordered a bit. We came on the evening of a menu change as well, so we were able to order from both the incoming menu and the outgoing. The burrata was creamy and delicious on top of heirloom tomatoes with a drizzle of very old balsamic vinegar that was as sweet as maple syrup but gave it that characteristic tang that brought everything together. The Branzino came filleted and slightly crisped on one side (I like Branzino whole so I can fillet it) but my girlfriend prefers having someone else do the work so she was thrilled."

  • "Front desk lady was very rude. We got there at 7:00 at opening time after having a resurvation and tables were not even ready. It was an "okay" experience, not what we thought it would be."

  • "The restaurant is very well located and has a good customer. However, the food portions are very small and expensive. The highlight of the evening was a trip to the bathroom where I saw an excellent pianist and a wonderful bass player playing jazz."

  • "There were five big bugs running on the floor so that many guests wanted to move the table to somewhere else which was not immediately possible"

  • "Dinner at Cecconi's very good, because the place is very nice and the food is very good. This time we ordered the pasta with black truffle and missed the truffle. The explanation that was not tartufo season did not please us. The correct would have removed the dish from the menu."

  • "I loved everything there: food, service, place... The only thing that I have to complain is about ONE order. I order a trufle and goat cheese pizza, but I received artichoke pizza. When I ask about with waitress, she told me: - We dont have trufle today, but this pizza is delicious. ??? But I recommend the restaurant and I'll come back. "

  • "Me and my boyfriend went to Cecconi's our first night out in Miami. I was amazed by the lovely inside-outside garden with romantic lightning and great ambiance. We came in time of our reservation, but we have to wait about 30 minutes to get our table. We didn't mind tho, we ordered champagne in the bar which was served with tasty roasted almonds. Once we got our table, we had a great 3 course meal. The gnocchi and passion fruit sorbet were our favourites. I can really recommend this place, although it is a bit pricy. "

  • "You come here for the ambiance. It is absolutely beautiful. Although we had a reservation we still had to wait around 20 minutes for our table - they were packed. Brunch is a buffet but the food is very good, and drinks are bottomless. Sit outside for sure."

  • "Did not live up to our expectations and was not worth the 5 block walk from our hotel. Food was not very inspiring. Adds a service charge to your check so beware that you are not tipping twice as we did at the bar. Would not return if we are ever in the neighborhood."

  • "Everything was pretty good. The only set back was the 30min wait despite having a reservation."

  • "I have been a long time customer of Cecconis and I always liked it, but today it seemed I went to a different restaurant. The food and service were simply terrible...The mayonaise on the beef Carpaccio tasted like Kraft's. The spaghetti with lobster looked and tasted more like a Gazpacho soup with pasta, and extremely spicy. My wife had the rigatoni a la bolognese and it was overcooked. When I spoke to the manager (Stefania) she spent most of the time talking and not listening. She was trying to explain me how wrong I was and teaching me about home made pasta, didn't she know I have been married to an Italian for 25 years. My advice would be, talk less and improve the food and service and also the listening skills of the manager. "
