  • "The food at Catch was amazing. It was fresh, local and prepared perfectly. The atmosphere was a little strange but the quality of the food overwhelmed everything else. Highly recommended."

  • "My husband and I have been here 3 times. It is officially our favorite food in wilmington. It is a bit pricy compared to what we usually have but we do not mind paying when the quality is above the norm for our area. We love the fact that he supports local and grows his own erbs. We recamend it to all our friends. Keith Rhodes is also a very plesent person as well as the Bar tender Ricky."

  • "Quaint fine dining restraint for a change of pace from the everyday offered menu. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Service little slow due to small staff but totally worth the wait!!! Save room and Don't miss out on dessert!!! Met the owner/chef who demmonstrates the importance of good food and customer service. Would highly recommend the hidden gem."

  • "Some day the chef will write a memoir of his rise to the top of the food restaurant business. The flavors excite. The presentation is beautiful. Plan to have a relaxing wondful dining experience."

  • "Wow!! We were beyond impressed with the food on our first visit to the Catch. We ordered 4 different appetizers for the table and they were all fresh and outstanding. I ordered Lobster dish for entree and was blown away by the freshness of the flavors and the creative presentation. Some of the best food I have ever had. Beats out many upscale restaurants in Las Vegas and Charleston. The chef is fabulous. Cannot wait to return to Wilmington just to dine at The Catch again!"

  • "Excellent food, if a bit pricey; seemed chintzy of them to charge $2 if you wanted a refill on the bread. Waiter spent 5 minutes telling me about all the awards the chef has won, which I thought was rather tacky, and unnecessary, since most people are going to have sought the place out because they've heard something about the chef. it's in a strip mall, very inconspicuous, I had trouble finding it because hard to see their sign from the road. But the food was very, very good."

  • "Chef Keith never ceases to impress with his unique take on combining local ingredients to create delicious meals. We brought our visiting son and daughter-in-law, who live in Austin, TX, rich in good restaurants, and they said Catch was "over the top"! We've been there many times before and will be back many times in the future."

  • "Our second trip to Catch was as enjoyable as the first. Great food and drinks, excellent service. It was off season and not as crowded as summer."
    Dined on 3/10/2014
  • "My wife and I took a short trip to the Wilmington area and wanted to make sure we found a great place to have dinner. Catch met our expectations in all categories and I'm sure we'll be back when we are in the Wilmington area. We shared the roasted sweet potato salad for an appetizer, which we both enjoyed. My wife had the recommended crab cakes as her entree which were almost completely void of any fillers, mostly just delectable and sweet lump crab meat, delish.. My entree was a special of stir fried shrimp with lobster tail in an asian sauce with rice noodles. It was a great mix of flavors, savory, sweet, tangy, with a little zing from the fresh ginger. The most surprising part of the dish was what seemed to be marinated beets."

  • "Did not have a good experience due to too much fancy additions to what would have been a good meal. The basic food was good, but they are getting too fancy with extras added on. Probably will not go back for awhile. Our waitresswas excellent"

  • "The food was absolutely delicious. This was our first time at the Catch and we will defiantly be back."

  • "Our first visit to Catch......we will be back. The food was very good (crab cakes are NC award winning) and beautifully presented. Loved the sweet potato salad which our server advised(thank you) was large enough for two to share. Portions are not oversized....no need for a "to go" box. Service was attentive.....only concern was that we were not asked about a second glass of wine until our entrees had arrived....would have been nice to have been asked during the longish wait for the entrees. Molten lava cake was tasty but cake was a bit too spongy to be "perfect". A nice meal overall."

  • "We have eaten at catch many times but this time was not good. From 4 things on the menu not being available and not being tod this til one of us ordered it to slow service with a less than helpful waiter to ordering a specialty drink off the menu and being told after waiting for the drink for 20 minutes that they no longer carry the brandy from the drink,,,I was so disappointed, I took my son and daughter in law for dinner and it was so bad I do not think they will ever come back. Then I gave the waiter a visa gift card and my debit card to pay, he split the bill onto the 2 cards and ran them like credit when I was paying $100 with the gift card and the balance on my debit card. The entire evening had one think after another happen"

  • "We couldn't resist the appetizers. Shrimp pizza was excellent. Perfect size for four people. The clams were great. The spinach sweet potato salad was perfect. We all had fish entress that were supurb. Service and food were five star."

  • "I was disappointed in the resturant. I have never seen a place charge extra for more bread in the bread basket and the bread was terrible so that was good since I didn't want anymore. The price of menu items I thought were overpriced and while the food was good it was not worth the dollars. I tried it but see no reason to return since there are better sea food places and less expensive and just as good in food. Service was ok, but had to wait to get the first glass of wine for quite a while."

  • "as we were traveling from Virginia our goal was to the guy at the catch.the food was excellent and the service was great. I would recommend anyone passing through the Wilmington area stop and take a bite of the catch"

  • "On this occasion, I tried the Firecracker Shrimp appetizer. Loved it and may order it as an entree next time. My husband had his favorite -- the Flaxseed Scallops OBX -- and they were delicious as usual. Our friends and I ordered the crab cakes. They were prepared as well as any I have had in restaurants on the Chesapeake Bay. Despite the busy Valentine's saturday crowd, service was terrific. The little black and white decorative box containing 2 yummy bonbons that was given to each couple was a really nice added touch to mark the occasion."

  • "My family has lived in Wilmington for awhile now, and when I want high quality, delicious seafood, Catch is my restaurant of choice. The building exterior is unassuming, and the dining area is fairly small, but all the food that comes out of that kitchen is phenomenal. I can personally vouche for the firecracker shrimp, salmon, crab cakes, and seared tuna. While the location can't compete with the beach or riverfront, the food at Catch definitely beats most other area seafood restaurants."

  • "Another great experience at Catch. Service was excellent, as usual. Calamari and sweet potato salad were delicious starters. Crab cakes and flounder are our favorites."

  • "We were seated at 7:30, Saturday night. Wine ordered was not available. Five out of the thirteen entrees were sold out, really on a Saturday at 7:30?? We were served our food 1 1/2 hours after we were seated. We will not go back there."
    Dined on 1/18/2014
  • "We tried Catch after it first opened and were not impressed. A friend suggested we try it again. We were very disappointed. It took at least 40 minutes for dinner to arrive and was truly NOT worth the wait. So, we will not be going back."
    Dined on 1/18/2014
  • "The food was great and the serve was good but the atmosphere was a little sub par. Of course ambiance is not the most important but a new location could really do Catch some good."
    Dined on 1/17/2014
  • "Still the best seafood restaurant in Wilmington. Creative choices on the menu. Plenty of good non seafood selections for those non seafood members of the group. Service was very good."

  • "Good for seafood. We had a grouper special and crab cakes. Both were good. Service was good, wine list very good."

  • "This is mine and the husband's third visit to Catch and it did not disappoint. Our server was wonderful and the food was as good as always. The bread they bring to the table is some of the best I have ever had. Our server was very knowlegable about the menu and made wonderful recommendations (the fish was right on point)."
