Every bite was a party in the mouth and that went for everything we ordered including the drinks, there was nothing plain or usual about the food. Ambiance inside was a little boring but we ate early so we chose to sit outside and watch the sidewalk of south beach which is anything but boring! They let me and my husband sit beside each other ( they turned the table to accommodate us). They have the one and only Rasti sommelier ! The food was incredible! The waitress was very helpful in planning the perfect meal. Had the best lobster of my life! When they heard it was our anniversary, they immediately sent us Champagne. The wait staff were attentive without being obtrusive. The food was flavourful without overpowering the taste of the fish. The hamachi starter was refreshing and the tuna main had a nice spicy to it - tangy without being the main event. We also found some good value on the wine list. We sat outside as inside was empty when we arrived. It was nice to sit outside but by the time we were finished inside had completely filled up and had much more atmposphere. The food is just as diverse as Miami.
Be prepared for smaller servings and a bit higher fare then your average establishment.
I believe this keeps the loud glutinous element away.3/13/2013 12:00:00 AMWonderful (but expensive!) meal!My college age daughter and I went to Catch Miami this week and absolutely loved it - one of the best meals we ever had! The mussels in red sauce and mahi mahi tacos were are appetizers and they were both wonderful. We also had the branzino and the scallops and cauliflower for entrees and they were both delicious. Had the cookie basket for dessert which was just okay. It was quite pricey though so be forewarned. The atmosphere was great and i would definitely recommend it.1/1/0001 4:00:00 PM
