Catch 35 - NapervilleMother's Day Brunch at Catch 35I took my mother to Catch 35 for their Mother's Day Brunch and it was great. The food was exceptional and cooked well, which can be hard to do for a buffet serving large quantities at a time. I am considering making Catch 35 and annual Mother's Day tradition.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMMother's Day BrunchWe frequent "Catch 35" quite often and always love it; however had never been to a Brunch there (they only have it for special occasions and only for about three years or so). We were pleasantly surprised - the buffet was probably smaller than at other places and I believe the only dish geared especially for children was mac n'cheese but......... all the food was outstanding. They did not have a carving station or omelette station but......the best beef tenderloin medallions ever, tasty scallops, fried rice with shrimps, potstickers, the fluffiest scrambled eggs, the best crabmeat eggs benedict and superb lox etc etc etc - and the cutest desert creations.

They did not fulfill the request for a window table for my MIL's 75th birthday. :-( we were in the traffic path from the entrance. The kids menu had excellent quality and quantity (a little too much food) for the price. We will definitely return. We had a perception that the cost would be far more than it turned out and we definitely saw a great value in our meal for the price that was paid. Our waitress, Tara, provided us with excellent service. We each had the fixed price special of beef medallions. Everything came out cooked perfectly. We enjoyed excellent Lavazaa coffee. They have a great selection of seafood and they also have other things on the menu for those that prefer something besides seafood. I had the Creme Brule for dessert and it was excellent!
