  • "We were in the mood for steak and we ended up here. The Smothered blue was recommended and it was a top sirloin cut. The steak was chewy and hard to cut. My boyfriend had same cut but it was thinner and med well. He seemed to like his. I complained and the manager apologized and said that it must of been a bad cow. What? Nothing was offered to rectify the situation. The only thing worth going back for was happy hour, which we stopped for a drink before our reservation. Our bartender was very nice and provided great service!"

  • "I wasn't entirely sure about this place when I first drove up (it's in an out of the way area) or when it took a few minutes to get seated when the restaurant was empty... But my girlfriend and I ended up thoroughly enjoying our visit. The steaks tasted great (and came with a salad, baked potato) and the service was even better - our server was very attentive and friendly. Other than minor issues - drinks are pretty expensive and the steak temps weren't spot-on - we had a great dinner. I was pleasantly surprised by the bill as well, as it only came out to $64...would definitely recommend this place. Just don't overdress (like we did) - it's not the Sycamore Inn. : p"

  • "This local restaurant has been around for years and is always dependable for great food and service. Prime rib is excellent as well as a full salad bar if desired. Main dining room is really unique and shows off its historic side, but is really crowded on weekends. Definitely make a reservation or you may be waiting a while or have to go into the bar area. I really appreciated that the restaurant held my reservation (made on Open Table), even though I was about 10 minutes late."
