Diner Reviews
  • "Great drink selections, very tasty food. Small plate sharing was definitely the way to go. Too bad for downtown that they're moving."

  • "Stopped on the way to a Broadway show. Tried their 601 happy hour deals ($6.01) on food - The Short Rib Philly, Chicken and Waffles were very good. Tried the 9 buck lobster roll which was excellent. The lobster roll is smaller than average but is very fairly priced. The service was fast and very professional. In short we loved it and would love to go back. I read the Graves hotel was sold and Bradstreet will move to Lowry Hill. We will go to the new establishment at some point."

  • "Good for a happy hour. Great drinks, and food was good but nit a dinner place. We were kind of disappointed because we went for a special occasion and it is really just a nice happy hour bar."

  • "We were headed to a show and this was right around the corner. Enjoyed the food and the setting. Would go back for the chicken and waffle sandwich...mussels were good too."

  • "While staying at the Graves hotel we made reservations in the more casual of the two restaurants, Bradstreet. While their menu may not seem suited for a full dinner we found their meals to be substantial. Their drinks as advertised are phenomenal! Our chef recommended the "Elvis" much to my hesitation but it something you have to try! No question, will be back with friends!"

  • "Great cocktails and small plate food. Everything outstanding!"

  • "The service is excellent, and the food is quality and meets the claims by the chef. The atmosphere is nice, but it is a lounge and not a restaurant setting. It is a good place for a couple that likes to share smaller fare food in a relaxed setting."

  • "Food was fine. Drink menu is outrageously priced for what was presented, although the little taster drink was a nice touch. Service was inattentive at best; 20 minutes from when we ordered said drinks until our waitress noticed they still weren't there. Food came out 10 minutes later and was lukewarm but tasted good. Would not bother to go back or tell anyone about this place- nothing special. (We said thank you to our waitress as we were leaving and she just nodded.?!?!?!)"

  • "I've been here twice for a girls night out before a concert and both times left me wanting to go back! The first time we sat at a table and were really impressed with everything on the menu. There were six of us and we ordered a variety of items off the menu, and were impressed with them all. The food took a while to arrive but the wonderful drinks made it worth the wait. When it did arrive, we were not disappointed! After dinner we ordered an assortment of desserts as well and truly loved them all. The second time there were only three of us so we decided to sit at the bar as other reviewers suggested. We were amazed at the skill level and intelligence of the "bartender". It was a great experience. We look forward to coming back!"

  • "The food at Bradstreet was great. We went for Restaurant Week and had the Carrot salad and peppers for apps and the Arctic Char and steak sandwich for "entrees". Even though the food is small plates, I was full after my dishes. BUT, I still ordered the Tuna Tar Tar (sp?) b/c I have been craving it. The food was great! My only gripes are with the restroom and the seating. To use the restroom, you must take the elevator up to the 4th floor (from the 1st) and go in to a different restaurant, Cosmos. This is very inconvenient and awkward! When I walked in the hostess asked if I had reservations and I had to say no, just using the bathroom :/ Also, we were seated at a table that was awkward behind the host stand."

  • "You can't go expecting a meal. It's not a meat and potato type place. Great small dishes are fun to mix and match. Cocktails are amazing. The lobster mac n cheese was loaded with huge hunks of claw meat. Ribs were amazing."

  • "The food was excellent and we were early so it was very quiet. This was our first visit and both my wife and I were surprised by the limited menu options. Probably a better option for lunch or after a night out for drinks and a snack, rather than for dinner. Great service."

  • "We love the food bar. Great service on Vday with special touches such as complimentary drink teaser and mini app. At times, service can be spotty at the food bar, especially later in the night but on Vday everyone was on their game. Great food. Our favs are tuna tartar, pb and pork belly sandwich, fries, mussels, and truffle Mac and cheese. Drinks wre ways amazing. Our waitress did a great job narrowing down our many choices. Great stop before or after First ave show."

  • "Loved the food! Definitely want to go back but live 5 hours away. Did not have change for cash immediately, but didn't mind waiting. Dinner only took a half hour and I was planning 2 so had some time before our show."

  • "The drinks here are what you would come for. Great craft cocktails. Maybe a touch on the expensive side, but you're getting good attention to detail and a great drink. The food was excellent too. Happy hour "sliders" are perfect to share. Great bargain and match up well with drinks at the bar. Service was great; had our spot reserved at bar. A great standby."

  • "We were given sample flights when seated and again after our first drink, which we enjoyed. The waiter was knowledgeable and friendly, and the food tasted excellent. Their drink menu is extensive and my date and I both enjoyed all of our drinks. The menu had a good variety and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it."

  • "Lovely atmosphere and cocktails, difficult if you are a wine drinker (only two by the glass red wine choices), and poor service (he was pretty to look at but lacked basic knowledge of fine dining etiquette)."

  • "The food was really good and loved the variety and small plates. The service was not good, she was very slow to greet us, get us a beverage, deliver the drinks, she forgot a couple drink orders and we never received them. Also, you could tell she had no time for us, she kept looking around while we were ordering and at one point while we paused in ordering, she actually left the table. If was very disappointing since we were out on a group date night, which we rarely get these days with the busy life of kids and work."

  • "Food portions are VERY small. Waitress/Bartender move at the rate of a snail. The cook does too. With those few things bothering you, it's hard to care about the ambiance. It would also be very helpful to have a some kind of description next to the drinks since the average person does not know what the concoction will taste like. Since it is spendy, mistakes can be costly. Oh, it is also so dark at our table that we had to use our flashlight app to read the menu.u"

  • "The place was quiet because it was dead on a Friday night. The food was expensive and lacked taste. The lobster Mac and cheese was really runny and had no flavor. The only thing that was good were the fries and really anyone can do that and not charge a ton of money. Won't be returning."

  • "With a quiet ambience and quirky menu Bradstreet needs to be more well known. The happy hour pricing is great. The restaurant is just a short distance from The Orpheum or Pantages, which makes it a convenient option for dinner before a show. I couldn't believe how dead it was though. It was my first and only time there (so far) so I don't know if it was just a slow night or what. Also, while I admit to being directionally challenged, it was a bit difficult to find. Even once in the hotel lobby it was necessary to ask where the restaurant was. All in all I would recommend Bradstreet to anyone looking for a great happy hour, a quick bite to eat before a show, or a delicious cocktail. Try the walleye fingers or the Elvis, both were amazing!"

  • "This is on my short list of places in the twin cities that I'm going to miss. I love the stylish decor paired with the relaxed atmosphere. Of course the cocktails are amazing. It's my favorite craft cocktail place in the twin cities, which is saying a lot. Further the stff have always been informed and enjoyable. It's definitely not cheap, but every drink I've had there has been worth it."

  • "My only issue with the place was that I ordered a Kiddie Cocktail, which is a cheap 3 dollar drink, and I got a nonalcoholic drink named after a greek goddess that cost 7 bucks or so. I did't make a fuss because the waitress was incredibly nice and I had a concert to head to. I will go back, it's too cool of a place not to go back to. A restaurant with seats that help cuddling... That's what I'm talking about."

  • "We like going to Bradstreet Crafthouse because the cocktails are excellent, the food is great and imaginative, and it's easy to share dishes. Our server was informative and spent time answering questions and did not rush us in ordering or in getting out. The only drawback is that it gets a little loud, so conversing gets difficult. We enjoy this place a lot."

  • "Went after making reservation change from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Seated right away. Ordered their special sandwiches and drinks. Served drinks right away. After nearly an hour of waiting for the food, I approached the Manger who investigated to find out our order wasn't submitted by the waitress. He apologized and paid for our meal and drinks. The problem was that only 3/4s of our food arrived. The sandwiches that did arrive were small in portion and served on plates with no garnishes and no sides were offered with the meal. Skimpy meals for a full meal price. Not impressed with the service or food. Sorry. Also due to the wait on the food, we missed out on the opening Band for P!nk. Heard they were good."

  • "I really liked the location and decor. However, if you plan on going on any semi busy night, you may want to email in your drink order a few days ahead of time. I totally understand that specialty cocktails are a bit of an art form and may take a little extra time, but beer is beer and should not take 15 minutes between ordering and receiving. If they staffed a few more people on a busy night, like a Target Center Concert night, then it would make for a much more enjoyable time."

  • "Awesome drinks and the wait staff was great in suggesting one of their incredible drinks based on your preferences. The food choices were fun and very uniique. Tapas style allowed you to make several tasty choices and the mood informal yet very trendy."

  • "We had a large group of ladies out for a 40th bday party. The drinks and appetizer foods were amazingly good! The service was fantastic. They were on top of our needs, had great suggestions and never missed an order...with 14 ladies changing spots all the time, that was impressive! We sat at a huge table that fit us all!"

  • "Most of the food was great. We did order what was called a lobster roll, which ended up being lobster on plain bread. It was dry and had could not think of why they served such a plain tasteless dish. The worse part of the experience is they seat you in a just below need high table. In order to get close to the table to avoid spilling on your cloths, you had to sit sideways and straighten your feet. I am 5' 5" and still had issues. Anyone taller.....well good luck."

  • "Went with another couple. Easy to make reservation on line. They got there first and waited 10 minutes before server came to take drink order. Happy hour from 5-7 on a Friday so that was nice. The happy hour food was good but only 3 choices. We loved the food but do not think you will get filled up on 1 item. You have to order a few things which we were able to try more. The tuna, scallops and tempura shrimp were good. But as I said small 2 scallops, 5 shrimp and 4 small pieces of tuna. Our server was a little flighty and seemed to forget to bring things. I had to ask other servers 3 or 4 times for things. They were not that busy either. So bottom line more like appetizer size for your portions but very good."

  • "The small plates are very good but the craft bartenders seem to get over busy. We have visited two times, had a great dinner with one glass of wine or drink. Keeps the bill down but we would have enjoyed a second."

  • "It is very very dark in the resturant, this is not a good place to go if you want to hang out and really have a good time with your friends...it's the best place for a dark corner to make out in because no one else can really see you. And the service was horrible. Our waitress just wasn't all there. She asked me how my juicy lucy was and I looked at the table and looked at her (thinking maybe I didn't realize someone put it in front of me because of how dark it was) and told her it wasn't there yet...and even she took a second look at the table to verify. Will never go back again....just a waste of money for"

  • "Bradstreet Craftshouse was a great experience. My wife and I tried it before a show at a nearby theater. The atmosphere was intimate and inviting. We sat at the counter in front of the "kitchen" area. The 2 chefs chatted with us and showed us the dishes they were preparing. It was a good show and Great food! Very unique and tasty options. The service from the wait staff was a bit slow. We even made it for Happy Hour which was a great 2 for 1 deal! Please try it!"

  • "had a friend recommend a place, and thought we'd try it. They had interesting food, small plates, and it all was very good. The fact that the drinks were all "handcrafted" was kind of silly, and they were all very small, but I thought it was groovy and would return."
