We've also never gone wrong with something from their specials. Nice to get away from the chain restaurants and eat at a family owned establishment. And has always been very reasonable. However with the menu change, three of us had dinner with one app and waters to drink and it was $100 after adding salads, meat sauce, mushrooms, etc....
This will now have to be a special occasion spot only as we just don't have the budget for it! Warm and attentive service including a visit from the chef, decadent and delicious food, and the perfect atmosphere for a special occasion. Buzzing with life and happy people, but not too loud. The bread and garlic and herb dipping oil were divine; the fried mozzarella surprisingly light; the olive salad fresh and flavorful; the ribeye steak sizzling, perfectly marbled and cooked; and the seafood lasagne rich and creamy; the suco divine. Our new go-to spot for special occasions, and anytime we are craving exceptional Italian! We drove 30 minutes to get there, and would drive 2 hours if we had to. Also, the food is reasonable and the menu extensive. There are specials everyday during the week for the lunchtime crowd

The restaurant was full but service was still pretty snappy. Our waiter Patrick still took his time with us and made us feel welcome. Not only is the food great it gets better with every visit. This probably had a lot to do with the quitter ambience. Even though it was an "off" night, we enjoyed outstanding service in the bar and in the restaurant. Cascone's food, service, ambience constantly ranks number one. Their classic pasta dishes are fabulous. (there were 6 of us). The food is always delicious and served hot and fresh. I enjoy the chef coming out and telling us about the specials of the day. It makes me feel like he is truly involved in the success of the restaurant and enjoyment of his guests. And he always treat us like his guests. Although we had a slow start with service at the beginning of our dinner, the other servers in the area rose to the task and not only located our server but took and served our drink order.
