The food was good (though the bread was not what we expected -- kind of a fried pita -- and not very good. But what made me not want to go back was how the waitress started clearing all the plates, stacking them noisily, etc., while one person was still eating. We had to tell her to go away and please wait until everyone was done.

There was no one at the hostess stand when we walked in, and we stood there awkwardly for about four minutes. Finally, a waitress came to seat us and plunked us down at a booth for four that was all by itself near the front of the restaurant. She seemed a bit irritated when we asked if we could have one of the open tables for two that were visible in the middle of the restaurant. What the restaurant lacked in hospitality,it made up for in food. My boyfriend had the hanger steak, which was over creamy polenta and blue cheese stuffed mushrooms. I had the braised lamb shoulder, which was served with flavorful roasted tomatoes and DELICIOUS spiced Greek yogurt sauce. Maybe it was just an off night for service; I will go back for the food.

I get something different every single time I go and every time it's FANTASTIC. It's great during Restaurant Week because it gives you a great excuse to try the different appetizers and desserts. I highly recommend sharing dishes since everything is so delicious and different.

This used to be a good place and now it's fair at best. The decor is getting worn out and the menu is not creative and the prices are not at all aligned with the food quality. Let's see soon changes, Sari.

We went there to celebrate a birthday, the waitress carded the birthday girl AND I told the waitress when she greeted us it was her birthday... nothing, not a happy birthday, not a "oh great I'm happy you chose to spend it with us"... nothing. General indignation. She stood there waiting for us to fork over our IDs and was silent, almost as though we were inconveniencing her by having been sat in her section.
The food was great, as usual,and the drink menu is robust, but man that waitress really started our night off with a buzz kill.

My lunch was beautifully prepared and served. The first course (cigars?) was a bit ordinary though softly fried. The ribs, beans and even the slaw was outstanding. The pumpkin "cheesecake" was beyond any known cheesecake.

We looked online for their restaurant week menu and were very excited about the choices. When we arrived, they had completely changed the menu from osso bucco and cod (favorites for me and my date) to stuffed peppers and salmon (things we don't care for). We brought it up and the waitress pointed out that menus are subject to change, which is fair. But the dishes that brought us there were available for the full menu price. We felt bamboozled and just ordered some appetizers and left. I would probably never go again.
