  • "It was a very festive environment and the entertainment was superb"

  • "retro Mexican restaurant, they serve tasty Mexican food, all the traditional plates and innovative twist on the traditional. But what makes this a special place is the wonderful entertainment by an excellent mariachi band. You feel like you just took a quick trip across the border on holiday. You will not be disappointed by the service, food or entertainment."

  • "Food, ambiance, service and music is all great. All of it! Took my BFF to celebrate her bday and she simply loved everything about it! It's a wonderful place and this mariachi show is a must"

  • "though there are lots of great inexpensive Mexican food options in our neighborhood, it's great to have Casa Sanchez as another option. It is a little more pricey, but you get the nicer decor, a beautiful outdoor patio, fine service, mariachi entertainment and free guacamole upon seating. The owner is the consummate host, greeting every table numerous times to make sure everyone is happy. The menu is a lot more expansive than the usual taco, enchilada, relleno, burrito combo plates. The seafood, steaks, salads and appetizers are very flavorful and a nice change for the palate, but still in the Mexican tradition. Don't expect your neighborhood dive prices, but try it out if you want to have a special night out."

  • "We wanted to get out and try something new. When we arrived the neighborhood was a little industrial, but once we parked and went inside the interior was very nice and the staff was extremely pleasant. If you want really spicy food this isn't the place for you, but if you want tasty food done well it definitely is. I will repeat."

  • "From the moment we walked in. We were greeted with a smile, our table was ready on time for our reservation. Everyone in my party seemed to have enjoyed their plate. I ordered the carne Tampiqueña but the meat was a little too hard to cut. Everything else in the plate I loved. I brought in a cake ans i koved ths fact fhat you guys cut it and served it. The mariachi was outstanding and entertaining!! They made cool jokes funny dance moves and involved the audience in it. Overall service was great! Ambience too I love the paintings and the cleanliness of the place. Very elegant and classy. Keep up the good work. All you are a great team. Raul our buzz boy was very funny and welcoming.Thank you all for making my moms birthday memorable."

  • "Casa Sanchez is a hidden gem. They are consistently good in food quality and customer service. The Carne Tampiquena is amazing. The cheese enchiladas are muy flavorful. I strongly recommend this place. They offer valet parking when it's busy and self parking in a private lot when they are not too busy. weekends get crowded so make reservations."

  • "Be very clear for the purpose you're going there. If you're going for the show, then you'll be entertained. It's more than the typical mariachi show with a HUGE mariachi band, dancing, and even a few classic numbers in english. Now, if you're going to get to know your date or for conversation, you want to arrive at least an hour before the show starts so you have plenty of time for conversation because once the show starts, it gets very difficult to hear unless you want to go out on the patio. But, if you're on the patio during the show, the server seems to spend less time with you. Amazing service in the main room. Great food. Pricier than I thought, but worth the price"

  • "Brought my husband & kids here for father’s day. Very authentic Mexican. Long tables set family style. This is the place to bring "toda la familia". The mariachi were excellent. We were wearing flip flops and shorts and t-shirts and felt very under-dressed, even for a 12:00 Sunday lunch."

  • "Delicious, free guacamole. Overcharged for our drinks but they quickly reimbursed us. My favorite dish is camarones ala diabla. Ask for them to make it spicy only if you can handle the heat!"

  • "My family enjoyed the music. Food was not so much in our price range but we really wanted to hear live music. Food was well seasoned. Maybe adjust the price?"

  • "Casa Snachez really raises mexican food to a higher level. Besides the food, the bar serves great drinks, and the service is always excellent. The mariachi band is also first class."

  • "Casa Sanchez is a great place to dine, but the mariachis make the experience special. The menu features Mexican fare of course, but we love their other specialties as much, and never worry that a member of our party will not find something to enjoy. The staff is very accommodating, service impeccable. All in all it is a wonderful evening guaranteed each time we visit."

  • "This is the third time we've attended the Mother's Day dinner at Casa Sanchez. The ambience is always awesome and the food is good, but the prices are a bit much for the limited menu selections. Either way, mom really likes the show and has a blast. "

  • "Was pleasantly surprised that the decor, it was attractive. I was expecting a more casual place. The food is overpriced, but essentially the high prices pay for the show. The show was great. Everyone in the party of 8 enjoyed their food, from salmon to Chicken Enchiladas with Mole sauce. A nice touch was complimentary guacamole, however it had too many raw onions. "

  • " I have eaten at countless Mexican Restaurants in the last 40 years. This is probably the best Mariachi Band I have ever heard. The menu had some standards and unique dishes. I highly recommend this place as the best Mexican food and entertainment in Los Angeles, and at a reasonable price. "

  • "I went with my boyfriend for happy hour and loved it so much I went back with friends 3 days later for cinco de mayo. Here's why I love Casa Sachez: 1. Delicious food. I don't eat meat (only fish). The fish taco were sooo delicious. They make their tortillas in house and the food is fresh. PLUS they give you complimentary guacamole with chips and salsa. 2. Diego and Alejando! Best service, super friendly, and provided great recommendations. 3. Passion fruit margarita! 4. Complementary valet. 5. Beautiful ambiance. 6. Live mariachi band. Casa Sanchez has instantly become one of my favs!"

  • "The place was beautiful. Service was great! The food was delicious. The performance was awesome..while we ate the Mariachi played soft music, which I thought it was romantic and enjoyable. I was totally amazed and speechless when I heard the the singer singing in English with mariachi😮. It was beautiful !!! Very great performance including the flokorico. I thought the alcohol was a lil over prized. That won't stop me from returning back😉 I fell in love with the patio.. I'm considering in celebrating my husbands 40th bday there. "

  • "I'll start off with the positive before I go into the areas they need to improve. Their drinks were good, the mariachi was excellent, the salmon plate was delicious as were the hand-made tortillas, but the fajitas and steak plate were mediocre at best. I understand that the food is a bit more expensive because the customers help pay for the mariachi, but Casa Sanchez really needs to improve the overall quality of their steak plates to justify the price."

  • "It starts at the valet. Really easy and convenient parking. The hostesses are excellent. The manager is very friendly and always says hello and remembers repeat customers. The food is really a couple of notches above most Mexican restaurants. The entertainment is one of the best Mariachi bands that I have heard. This is a great place to take out of town guests to expose them to the great Mexican culture that is a big part of LA."

  • "This place gets better and better every visit! I tried a new dish on the menu….i usually tend to stick to what I love which is the Salmon al Tequila but was in a adventurous kind of mood. I asked the server for a recommendation and he raved about the Carne Tamipuena and a New Mango tuna dish…Ahi Tuna? Im Sold! OMG this Mango Ahi Tuna was to die for!! It complemented my cucumber Margarita oh so well!!! The Band was amazing as always ! I really love coming here!! Everyone is always so friendly and the experience is always memorable"

  • "We had a large group and the service was fantastic, as was the food. The only negative to the evening was that the entertainment was pretty loud. The singer had an amazing voice and we enjoyed the talent, but the volume was just too high. If they could turn it down a notch, that would go far for us!"

  • "This restaurant offers two nightly shows with Mariachi's and dancers. The fingers Stay on stage so no wandering Mariachi which makes the show more enjoyable. These are are Amazing!! Food was good & they make a jalepeino cucumber Margreita which is soooo good! Go!"

  • "Truly a neighborhood gem and a super fun restaurant for a family Sunday night dinner. There is enough menu variety to take Casa Sanchez beyond the typical Mexican options, but enough of the classics to have something for everyone. I had the spicy shrimp last week which were delicious and on the lighter side. I've had the mole which was also great. Husband had the pork shank which we thoroughly enjoyed. Great kids menu too. The service is impeccable, really a pleasure to be treated so well at such a busy restaurant on a Sunday night. Amazing Mariachi show! Delicious and dangerous (because they are so delicious) margaritas. This is a great place for a fun dinner."

  • "Food was good, pork shank, doversole, my son ordered New York Steak no sauce and came with a mushroom sauce on it!! For 27 dollars they should be careful and check the food before it is send out to the guests, also ordered a Cadillac margarita for the birthday person and got a jalapeño margarita instead! Service could use a little improvement had to flag down the server every time we needed anything. I have been at Casa Sanchez several times and always the service is not the greatest you are basically paying for the ambiance, the Mariachi is great!!"

  • "Chose to dine on ValentinesDay! Unfortunately the lack of organization at the entrance was terrible. It's understandable that during holidays it gets hectic. But if the reservation process improved by providing guests with a table pager for example the check in would be way smooth! Next time I will avoid holidays and show my family members a second chance at this place. They weren't so impressed the first time. Food was ok but it's usually tastier other times...."

  • "I took my Fiance here for V-Day and we had a great time. Food was great, our chips and guac were refilled 3 times, water was never low, and the mariachi music was very professional. I got the ribs and french fries. I'm not usually a big mexican dinner lover, and the meat and fries were frickin bomb.."

  • "Went there for anniversary dinner. Food was very good, but pricey. Service was excellent. Mariachi show during dinner made it romantic. However, I had a gift Visa card I tried to use to pay, with remainder balance to be charged on my regular Visa card. Waiter said the charge was declined for my gift card. I called the card company the next day and they explained how the waiter ran the charge wrong. He was supposed to charge the gift card only for the $50 balance it said on the face of the card. This was only thing that ruined my experience there"

  • "We ran across this place last minute through Open Table. It's a nice looking place. The music is LOUD! We are musicians and are very supportive of live music, but the sound level was ridiculously loud. We couldn't even carry on a conversation because it was way too loud. It is a nice spot for a party. Large. The chile rellenos are good!"
