"Everything was delightful! I had the halibut and it was perfectly cooked and flavored. This was a birthday celebration so for dessert we had tiramisu. A wonderful end to a great meal. Service was very good as well."

"Casa Nonnative used to be a family style restaurant with classic Italian menu options. All portions are now individual, and frankly small, forcing you to order a first and a second plate. It's gotten a little too fancy from what it used to be and I miss the generous portions, the delicious chicken parmigiana and it's former more down to earth style. Probably won't be going back to Casa for a long time."

"I have heard a lot about this place. So tonight we 7 people, I tried it. Great choice. Excellent drinks and good wine list. eggplant and meatball starters were perfect. Pasta, chicken and fish dishes were spot on. Ice cream is a must to end the evening. Service and manager were very nice. will be back."

"Casa Nonna is definitely a neighborhood gem. The food was excellent -- very good "bread" was delivered to the table almost immediately. The meat ball sandwich and the baked eggplant were delicious. We will definitely return."

"The Tavola 12 chef's tasting menu is the COOLEST and most reasonably priced tasting menu in town. They will let up to 12 people sit at a counter around the kitchen on Friday and Saturday nights to enjoy a 12 course tasting menu made before your eyes by the Chef. Everything we had at this meal was amazing and at $55 without wine or $80 with wine it is a good deal. You don't need to have 12 people to partake, there were two of us the night that we did it. The restaurant contacted us ahead of time to see if we had any food allergies or foods we did not like. Definitely a great place to bring friends. Takes about 2 - 2 1/2 hours and well worth the time. One of the best meals I have had in DC in the last several years."

"Casa Nonna is my go-to sit down lunch and happy hour place. The food is good and the prices are reasonable. I'd like to see more "healthy" choices, for example, more entree-sized salads. The service is always attentive, although this time maybe a little too much so. The staff was a bit too eager to take away our bread tray even though we were still talking and drinking."
