"Service was very good. But the food fell short of expectations. The mole was not as complex as most; in fact it seemed to little more than a red chili sauce. The Caesar salad dressing was a touch heavy on the anchovy. The one bright spot in the culinary experience was the dessert course."

"The food was very unimpressive. Two of us had the pork carnitas. The quality of the meat was inferior although the taste of the spices and sauce was good. The other adult had the mini tacos which were much better. For the price of the food we thought for sure we shouldn't be charged for intial chips and salsa, but we were. Overall, a disappointing experience."

"I thought I did not like Mexican food. This restaurant redefines Mexican food. The house chicken dish and pork chochintas (not carnitas) were amoung the best dishes I have tasted. Have been back 3 times and each time consistently superb."

"Our first time here (although we've been to the Basin many times)--the chips, guac and salsa app was one of the best we've ever had ( fresh, crispy chips); the crab enchiladas are to re-order for sure; the prawn entree was good but relatively bland esp. in comparison to the enchiladas. Wine was fantastic. Kailua flan is also a re-order (good to share because it's rich). I think we've found our favorite Mexican food place in the area!"
