As soon as we walked in, we felt welcome (which can be very rare these days). Our server was extremely attentive (I'm sorry I do not recall his name) and the other staff in general were friendly and made sure everything was well without being overbearing. Between the two of us, we ordered the crab cakes, stuffed salmon, small steak, salads, and dessert. All I can say is WOW. While I wasn't a huge fan of the dressing on my ceasar salad, the rest of the food was simply amazing. Concluding the dinner was a trio of desserts which was perfect. The owner and the staff are very friendly and extremely attentive. No wait and no rush. They let you enjoy your meal and they don't try and rush you through to make room for the next seating. I hate that.

They are so good to my son, I can't say enough about how well we are treated.

The ambiance is perfect for a romantic dinner. We were seated by the fire, enjoying a nice quiet table. We both had the coconut encrusted halibut, which was delicious! We also loved the small loaf of bread they served. Our waiter was attentive and right there when we needed him. The only small complaint we had was over the dessert. The waiter said they serve mud pie for anniversaries (which was yummy BTW!) This implied it was complimentary. When we got our bill, it had been added (half price), but a little strange because he intimated it was complementary. It was a nice change from your typical texas roadhouse. It was romantic and quiet though with a great wine list! We had a 25 dollar off coupon which helped with our meal, but we wouldn't go back without one. The total was about 35 dollars more than at most other steakhouses and honesty, the food was exactly the same. Great selection of wines by the glass at reasonable prices, including a Beringer Knights Valley Cab and Footbolt Shiraz. My Kansas City Strip was perfectly cooked, encrusted in peppercorns but a bit heavy on the whiskey peppercorn sauce. I had to be careful to not eat the entire loaf of crusty bread; I just wish they used regular unsalted butter instead of whipped.
