However, the wine list is a bit limited. We enjoyed the quietness and calmness as we can carry out a conversation comfortably. The staff are warm and friendly, even the manager stopped over for a couple of time. The special price which include a starters and dessert is very reasonable. From the outside, this place was ordinary, but once you go inside, decor was romantic, and it was quiet. For the price of their 3 course meal, you couldn't go wrong... everything was really good, and the steaks were done exactly as you requested it. I had the rib eye in medium, and instead of it being overcooked, it was a perfectly cooked and really flavorfull. Chef Manuel is excellent and I enjoyed the Seafood Linguine very much - the sauce was just right ! Helen and I shared the creme brule and cheesecake for desserts - a good surprise to taste the creme brule without the crispy sugar topping which is good because it is not so sweet and is just right after taking the entree with still "a bit of room" to enjoy the dessert !! Just one suggestion - we would like to see some variations on the dessert menu or some changes / additions as the dessert menu has been the same since I first dined at Carver's almost 3 years ago.
