Excellent menu ... I had the Rockfish entree (with awesome sun-dried tomato risotto) and my wife had the Crab Cakes. Both entrees were extraordinary. Our server, "Catilano", was superb. We came away feeling good about paying the extra $18 each, to upgrade our entrees to include crab soup (absolutely stunning, perfectly seasoned and just plain delightful), salad, and desert. Our overall tab, including the tip, came to $134 ... not bad considering the top-shelf quality of our entire dining experience. We were very, very pleased. Our only disappointment was the mustard sauce the chef drizzled over the julienne carrots and green beans (served alongside the Crab Cakes entree). The mustard sauce just plain didn't work for us. Not at all. We would have much rather tasted the lovely vegetables without the harshly dominant sauce. Other than that small slip ... this was certainly one of the best dining experience we have ever enjoyed together. We had a lovely indoor table overlooking the marina. The ambiance was quite perfect. The restaurant was not at all loud (we dislike that when dining). And it felt elegant ... even though we were dressed casually. It was relaxing to watch the sunset (we arrived at 4:00 pm for our dinner reservations and it was cool to see the many sailboats ... and the impressive U.S. Naval Academy buildings just across the "creek". Definitely recommended ... A ++++.

We always enjoy going to Carrol's Creek. The food and view are very good. This time we had brunch - two of us had omelettes and the other two salads with fish or crab. We were all happy with our choices. The restaurant is very versatile - it is great for a casual dinner or a special night out. We also had a great group dinner there in a special room, which was part of the restaurant that could be glassed off.

Entertained out of town clients. Food was average at best... Not much taste on the Rib Eye or Rock Fish. Wedge salad was great. Service only average, had to ask twice for wine. Very loud atmosphere... don't entertain clients if you need to discuss anything important.

All of our entrees were delicious; the chef's table for $18 was a good deal. However, the service was slow and the area where we ate had no view and was too hot. Nevertheless the food was so good it trumped the defects. We'll go back for special occasions; too expensive to return more often.

We were celibrating our 50th anniversary and were treated very well. We just picked a poor time as Navy was playing that weekend as was Maryland, so the cafe was very busy and very loud. The romantic part of the night was lost. However your service was good considering how many people were there that night. The food was very good and it came on time and hot. We may be back at a later time but pick a more relaxed night.

Our server, Sarah, was outstanding. Very attentive and knowledgeable about the food, wine, etc. I noticed instead of appetizers, the menu now has small plates as an option to the larger entree sized portions. This was a great way to try a couple of things I never had. We tried the lobster and truffle pot pie and some sort of ahi tuna stack, I don't recall what it was called exactly. Both were delicious and much larger portions than I anticipated. 3 small plates could easily be dinner for two. My husband had the sirloin which was delicious and juicy. We were stuffed so declined dessert which is always good. I am looking forward to trying more small plates next time.

Overall our celebration of my birthday at Carrol's Creek Cafe was good. I think it is an excellent bargain to get the "Chef dinner" which includes soup, salad and dessert with any entree for an additional $18. The salad was fantastic but I think people should be warned that it includes nuts. I did not enjoy the cream of crab soup which tasted more like cream of wheat with very little crab meat. The crab cakes were delicious but most of all I loved the bourbon raisin bread pudding served with a warm caramel glaze and vanilla ice cream. That is a "must have". The waiter was very friendly, helpful and attentive. which really made our dining experience great.

My wife and I travelled to Annapolis to meet up with relatives who flew in for a reunion. We made a dinner reservation at Carrol's Creek Café because of their scenic location and excellent menu selection that could even accommodate my wife's vegan diet. We arrived at the restaurant an hour earlier than our reservation time and the staff accommodated our early arrival without delay. The service and ambiance were great; and, everyone enjoyed the outstanding quality and presentation of the food. I would definitely recommend Carrol's Creek Café.

Carrol's Creek is a restaurant with a varied menu of delicious appetizers, salads and entrees. Being an ocean side restaurant, I expected the seafood dishes to be the best but I had filet mignon with scalloped potatoes that was wonderful. The wine list is extensive and priced reasonably and the service was attentive and friendly. If in Annapolis, Carrol's Creek is a must.

Although overcast and rainy, our meal indoors was delicious. We were seated quickly and next to the window that provided us an unobstructed view of the Annapolis Harbor where there was constant traffic due mostly to the boat show this weekend. Our food came out promptly and was all well prepared. We had some very nice white wine and everyone enjoyed their respective entrée. I highly recommend trying this establishment.
