All of our entrees were delicious; the chef's table for $18 was a good deal. However, the service was slow and the area where we ate had no view and was too hot. Nevertheless the food was so good it trumped the defects. We'll go back for special occasions; too expensive to return more often.

We were celibrating our 50th anniversary and were treated very well. We just picked a poor time as Navy was playing that weekend as was Maryland, so the cafe was very busy and very loud. The romantic part of the night was lost. However your service was good considering how many people were there that night. The food was very good and it came on time and hot. We may be back at a later time but pick a more relaxed night.

Our server, Sarah, was outstanding. Very attentive and knowledgeable about the food, wine, etc. I noticed instead of appetizers, the menu now has small plates as an option to the larger entree sized portions. This was a great way to try a couple of things I never had. We tried the lobster and truffle pot pie and some sort of ahi tuna stack, I don't recall what it was called exactly. Both were delicious and much larger portions than I anticipated. 3 small plates could easily be dinner for two. My husband had the sirloin which was delicious and juicy. We were stuffed so declined dessert which is always good. I am looking forward to trying more small plates next time.

My wife and I have turned this into our go-to place - when friends come to visit, anniversary dinners, or we simply want a night out. Great food and service that is not rushed, but also doesn't feel like we're being ignored. A great mix of small plates offerings & a full entree menu always keeps things interesting.

Overall our celebration of my birthday at Carrol's Creek Cafe was good. I think it is an excellent bargain to get the "Chef dinner" which includes soup, salad and dessert with any entree for an additional $18. The salad was fantastic but I think people should be warned that it includes nuts. I did not enjoy the cream of crab soup which tasted more like cream of wheat with very little crab meat. The crab cakes were delicious but most of all I loved the bourbon raisin bread pudding served with a warm caramel glaze and vanilla ice cream. That is a "must have". The waiter was very friendly, helpful and attentive. which really made our dining experience great.

My wife and I travelled to Annapolis to meet up with relatives who flew in for a reunion. We made a dinner reservation at Carrol's Creek Café because of their scenic location and excellent menu selection that could even accommodate my wife's vegan diet. We arrived at the restaurant an hour earlier than our reservation time and the staff accommodated our early arrival without delay. The service and ambiance were great; and, everyone enjoyed the outstanding quality and presentation of the food. I would definitely recommend Carrol's Creek Café.

Carrol's Creek is a restaurant with a varied menu of delicious appetizers, salads and entrees. Being an ocean side restaurant, I expected the seafood dishes to be the best but I had filet mignon with scalloped potatoes that was wonderful. The wine list is extensive and priced reasonably and the service was attentive and friendly. If in Annapolis, Carrol's Creek is a must.

Although overcast and rainy, our meal indoors was delicious. We were seated quickly and next to the window that provided us an unobstructed view of the Annapolis Harbor where there was constant traffic due mostly to the boat show this weekend. Our food came out promptly and was all well prepared. We had some very nice white wine and everyone enjoyed their respective entrée. I highly recommend trying this establishment.

Recently celebrated our anniversary at Carol's Creek. I consider Carol's Creek more for adults, we have 2 small children familiar with restaurants and I wouldn't take them there until they are older. Our table was in a corner away from foot traffic overlooking the docked sail boats - very nice. As for food, much better than I expected (and I have very high expectations for a new place). I grew up going to Gunnings and G&M for crab cakes and CC's was the same, if not better. Service was great as well. My only complaint is one of my crab cakes had a few shells - the other one didn't, so I think it may have been a new batch of crab meat. I didn't ask as that was the crab cake in my doggy bag! Overall, great experience. I recommend you go!

After a long drive to Annapolis for the boat show, we were thrilled to have such a wonderful experience at Carrol's Creek House. Our waitress was so knowledgeable and her recommendations were spot on. My husband had a delicious soup and I a great salad. We both had the Rock Fish special, which also had Maryland crab and a delectable sauce. The bread pudding was recommended and boy did it deliver. When she poured the warm caramel sauce over it, it was to die for! The wine selection was very good as well. Too bad Syracuse is so far away from Annapolis and Carrol's Creek Cafe. It is worth dining there.

We make a stop at Carrols Creek Cafe each year during our visit to the Annapolis Boat Show. We generally invite new guests based on our prior experience. This years visit did not disappoint. Our guest worked through Ahi tartar, spinach salad, and lobster tails, while we worked our way through muscles and crab cakes. Our server was outstanding, the service was attentive but not overbearing, and the food was excellent. We highly recommend this experience to anyone hitting the Annapolis area.

Wouldn't have occurred to me to check out a restaurant across the little bridge to the historic section of downtown Annapolis, but a friend liked the name. Wonderful view of the Marina. I had a first rate glass of Merlot and a delicious house salad with cranberries and nuts (added a slab of grilled salmon to it) and we split an order of flourless chocolate cake that was as good as any I've had. The server was warm, efficient, but never intrusive. It's not inexpensive, but it's worth the price.
