It's one of the best restaurants in the neighborhood hands down, and one of the best Italian restaurants in Denver. The pear salad and smoked chicken ravioli were out of this world. Manicotti was a bit drab. The lemon shrimp could have used a bit more lemon flavor. The cheesecake and cannoli were great. The staff works together really well making you feel as everything is taken care of just for you. As a working mom and wife, I appreciate when I am taken care of. This is definitely a place that has proven to me that they can take care of everything just the way I requested. No. I don't have control issues... ;)

We started with a regular salad that was absolutely delicious! Then we enjoyed the "jazzed up" chicken marsala and a side order of ziti. There were two of us and we had enough food for dinner the next day (the pasta), and lunch for my husband (chicken) today and tomorrow! The wine selection is good and the recommendation by our server was excellent. Nice, full-bodied red wines. This is a busy and popular restaurant, so be prepared for a high level of noise if you dine inside the restaurant! The wait staff is friendly, professional and fun, so there are no problems with service, even though extremely busy. Make reservations or you may have to wait awhile to get a table. The covered outside patio is probably not as noisy when they are busy--so next time, we will request a place on the patio. The food is usually consistently good - although this time, the lemon shrimp pasta was very bland. All was well when the waitress brought us extra "lemony" sauce -- so I have no complaints! This was our first time there and the waitress made sure to inform us that the menu was set for large groups so don't order more than one entree unless we wanted a lot of left overs. The other waiters who complemented her made sure we had plenty of drinks, bread and always check to see if we needed anything. It was my husbands birthday and they brought him out what ever he wanted for the desert which was great - I made note of it in our reservations and never said another word.
