A casual mention of our anniversary brought out a complementary glass of champagne for my "Bride" and myself. Parking was a chore but the rest of the night out celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary was excellent at Carmen Anthony's. Kudos to Carmen and his fine restaurant."

  • "I was disappointed by the quality of service and food at Carmen Anthony. The live piano musician was awesome. I took a date to this venue, we were seated in the middle of the restaurant, next to a loud group, they did not offer us a booth, although I had made reservations. My server was not exactly hospitable and I ordered Prime Rib. The Prime Rib was juicy, but was not well seasoned. The chopped salad was not what I was expecting. The Long Island Iced Tea was just terrible, they actually charged us for the Sparkling Water, didn't find this out until I got the bill. This place is high price and elegant; I expected the service/food to be 5 Star, but not this time."

  • "Restaurant Week - probably not the best time to see them at their finest, but a significant discount to the normal price. Their salad with balsamic dressing was quite tasty, although by the bottom it seemed a bit salty. My wife complained that the dressing was too thick, but I liked it. They also served wonderful bread, which seemed to have a brushed-on salt glaze. Combined with their soft, whipped butter it was a new experience for me. The "signature sliced filet"was very good, as was the prime rib. I especially liked the sauteed mushrooms and onions with the filet. My wife planned for a spoonful of creme brulee but ate the whole thing, I was very fond of the chocolate torte. Good for the price, but too expensive for me otherwise."

  • "My wife and I went here for the first time the other day for lunch. I had the sliced filet, and it was cooked perfectly and very delicious. Veggies were great, and mashed potatoes were super creamy. Excellent service. Would definitely go back!"

The staff was very apologetic during this time, however it did take a while. Anthony our waiter was very good, very attentive, knew the menu and I would suggest him to serve any of my friends. When we arrived pretty much everyone was dressed accordingly as well accept for a couple with jeans on which i can deal with but when they sit someone down with a hooded sweatshirt and baseball cap that just totally ruins it for us and is unacceptable. This is the kind of nite were you hoped Tony Soparano was around to tell the idiot that they dont serve hotdogs here and took the bleachers out years ago."

  • "We celebrated my son's 21st birthday at Carmen Anthony and they delivered. Great food for all though we definitely overdid it. All the appetizers (shrimp cocktail, crab cakes, and fried lobster) were delicious. The clam chowder and salads were equally good. But the stars of the evening were the filets and prime rib. They even combined the two options I was considering into Filet Mignon Florentine! You'd think we couldn't fit dessert but we all made valiant efforts and enjoyed the bread pudding, carrot cake and cheesecake (including a candle for my son). Definitely will return."

I understand that yes it was Valentines day and there was a lot of people but when a person makes reservations they shouldn't be seated a half hour later. the point of it is so I don't have to wait. Then it took 10 minutes to get a server then me and my date waited over hour for our food because they over cooked her fish. But I wouldve like to know that so I wasn't sitting there starving and expecting my food because the server kept reassuring it'd be there. 8:30 reservations seated at nine and didn't leave till 10:15. We ate so fast because we just wanted to leave. Also over priced for not the best seafood."

  • "Great steak place!! Went to celebrate one son's birthday -- and he loves meat!! He and my husband had the prime rib -- so big that they could eat only about half each. My other son had a NY strip -- about 14oz -- and he managed to finish it!!I I am not a meat eater so this was not the best place for me!!! I ordered the stuffed sole which was OK. Sides were good, expertly cooked. My sons raved about Mac and cheese -- which they declared was "real pasta and real cheeses -- none of this Velveeta stuff". We were so full, we could not try dessert!!Service was great -- friendly, attentive without being intrusive, we never felt rushed.This is a great steakhouse -- go with plenty of money, and a big appetite -- or plan to bring lots of food home!!"

Could not have been more pleased! My husband was wished a Happy Birthday when we arrived and was treated to a birthday dessert at the end of our dinner. Courses were served at time appropriate intervals. Waiter, Anthony, was knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. Food was great ! Loved the wine!! Except for the family who let their child run around their table til she tired out, the ambiance was great ! Glad they were seated a distance from us! We love kids but if you're going to bring them to a classy restaurant, don't let them run around."

Most of the food not excluding my dinning partner 's entree was very bland to taste, almost as if no seasoning was used. The mushrooms however were amazing. Our server was amazing as well. Dinner for a family of four, including two kids, was over $260 with only two glasses of wine and before tip. Ouch! The food at CA is great but I will only go to the restaurant for special occasions now or with work."

  • "First time at this restaurant for starters the valet car service was horrible, they tried seating us at the only table for 2 squeezed in right next to the piano ,when we asked to be moved they were not accommodating. It was early 6:00 and there were plenty of open tables. Got the manager we were move . A waiter walked by with a huge tray of food and bump into our waiter which sent food flying . Our meal was way overpriced , my steak came out really rare for medium well and my veggies were hard so all I was left with was a small scoop of mashed potatoes.It took a while and when my meat came out it wasn't even in the demi glaze it was supposed to be topped with . Our dessert was Creme brulee it dripped like liquid . $240.00 for 2 people"
