My husband likes his Prime Rib rare and he was able to get it just the way he likes it. It was rear, tender and very flavorful. Best restaurant for any occasion.

It was a busy graduation night, yet our server managed to handle us and the other groups with ease. Started off with an assortment of seafoods for an appetizer for two. Nice and fresh and a great starter. Our steaks (filets) were cooked perfectly as we had hoped would be for such a well known steakhouse. We choose the carrot cake for dessert and it was very sweet with a delicious light creamy filling in the middle layer. But really, what made the night's composition a perfect dining experience was the wonderful service we got from our attentive waiter (Dan). It took me 3 attempts to get a cocktail because there apparently was no Mango juice in the bar that night. No specials announced and we were referred to a print out for that. Only one piece of butter with the breadbasket for several people and we had to ask for more. We were also informed that we had to pay extra, if we wanted to exchange mashed potatoes with baked potatoes on a dish. Not a good experience after that cocktail disaster. All of us were served steak knives although only half of us were eating steak, no fish knives. The steak/fish were very good as always but the poor service made us decide not to go back there for a while...4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMThe over-all quality of theThe over-all quality of the food was very good. I just have a couple of suggestions to tifgten things up. When I tried the crab cakes which were outstanding I had to tell one of your servers that the remoulade sauce container was empty. I also noticed that there was a period of time(5 minutes) when on one was at the meat station. The meat server was in the back getting a fresh prime rib. However, someone else should have been there to serve the lamb and ham that was still available. The food was outstanding. Thank you for a great Easter.

It was absolutely fantastic from the food to the service.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AMExcellent food, a bit noisyExcellent food, a bit noisy and sitting by the piano made it even more difficult to carry on a conversation. The waiter had a hard time hearing us because of the noise level. It did die down about 9pm and the dinner was much more pleasant afterwards. We will now have a snack and plan on eating dinner at a later time if we plan on eating at Carmen's from now on.
