River Road north of the restaurant was closed due to flooding and I needed to pick up a family at the airport. They had a vegetarian entree that I wanted and a dessert which was too large. I forgot that two canoli's are served when this dessert is ordered. We waited about 5 minutes for a server to tend to us, this after the busboy was kind enough to ask us if anyone had come over. I was impressed that the busboy took notice and resolved the situation. We were very happy with the service throughout the remainder of the evening. I particularly appreciated that the server ackowledged my children and their requests respectfully. (It helps that my children have excellent manners & I can take them to any restaurant). The food was prepared well and quite delicious. You get what you pay for. After visiting their website we hoped this was a good choice, but after actually eating there we KNEW it was. They have a great menu, great wines and attentive yet unobtrusive service. I am SO glad I gave it another chance. All past missteps are forgiven! The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. They have great lunch specials. The Creme Brule was unbelievably good.
