Cariera's by CastelliKeep coming back!This restaurant was recommended to my husband and I about 7 years ago and now every time we visit Orlando, Cariera's is a definite stop. We have shared our experience here with many friends and look forward to another return. A friend recommended checking out the live jazz group on a Friday night. It looked like the restaurant had been given many nice coats of paint since my last visit - definitely fancier than I remember. Though still very comfortable. Service was excellent. Pizza was fantastic. And the added touch of a live jazz trio made it that much more enjoyable. It was a very rainy night, so it wasn't very busy for a Friday night. I can only imagine with a full restaurant, the buzz is even bigger over the music. Even still, after every number the band got a rousing round of applause. I had the Italian Wedding soup, which was so delicious. My entree was the Four Cheese Tortellini. It was so good I kept eating until I hurt. My boyfriend and his mom had the Veal Francaise, which I also tried. I might get that next time it was so good and tender. His dad had the Veal Marsala. Honestly, based on some of the other reviews posted, we didnt think the food was going to be good, but guess what? Every meal was really good -- chicken parm, fussilli, and penne dishes all hit the spot. Even the coffee was good.
Only complaint is that the bottle of wine we got was a bit pricey -- buy a bit . On the other hand, we were the only ones buying a bottle so maybe the stuff doesn't move and they up the price for storage.
