  • "This restaurant has a lot to offer. They have reasonable prices for seafood, veal, and chicken dishes that are too much trouble to make at home. Their carpaccio is a bit thicker than I like. The prices for their wine are very reasonable, and the Valpolicella was excellent. Our waiter was outstanding. He was attentive without being intrusive or disruptive. I would recommend Capri to anyone who wants to get authentic style Italian dishes without going to Italy. Note that this is not "New York authentic Italian" food. It's much better."

  • "Capri was a first for us. Despite the fact that I could not access the Groupon ($15 for $30), we decided to go anyway. We were not disappointed. It was quiet that Thursday evening when we arrived at 7:00 pm; there were few diners as yet. This contributed to the friendly and attentive service. Our waiter told us the "specials," and I chose a varied fish dish which was delicious. My wife had the ravioli, which also was wonderful. Cappuccino and the most scrumptious cannoli ever completed our meal. ."

  • "The moment you enter Capri, you feel as though you've been brought to old Italy with the decor. While the restaurant was slightly noisy on this particular night (the restaurant was packed due to it being Valentine's weekend & the first free night after a winter storm) the ambiance was still romantic & Italian. The owner has a thick Italian accent & greets everyone warmly & checks on them throughout the evening. We go here occasionally & he remembers us each time calling my husband Doctore, making us feel special. The servers are all young, but very mature & well-mannered. Food: fantastic. Great flavors in the lasagna. The Caesar salad was fresh with a TRUE Caesar dressing. It's definitely a special occasion-type of restaurant."

  • "I guess it should have been an indicator that I was able to get reservations for 10 people for a Saturday on the Saturday. For that I was tgreatful, but the food was just so-so, girlfriend got the wrong meal but they didn't correct it, and the ambience looked like a cafeteria. Would not go back there again."

  • "Even though we arrived on time we were left standing for five minutes while they cleared a table. It seemed as though they were unaware of our reservation. Everyone was very friendly, food was delicious, very flavorful but not served with a lot of flair. Experience was more like going to a good friends house for a very delicious dinner. Noise level was only because a large party right next to us that were rather loud, again, comfortable like being at a friends home with friends."

  • "It was a decent italian restaurant. It was a little over priced. Salad was not included. Bread was good, grouper was delicious and ceaser salad was fair. Wait staff and host were very attentive. Will probably go back."

  • "My girlfriend and I made reservations at Capri for 6:45pm and didn't get seated until 7pm because there was nobody around the lobby to seat us. When we did get seated it took 15 minutes to get two glasses of wine and some bread with butter. The butter was those individually wrapped portions from Land O Lakes, no points for presentation. After placing our order it took another 30 minutes to get our appetizers. An additional 30 minutes for our entrees which were small and not very flavorful. Dessert was Chocolate Mouse and a Cannoli (apparently the last cannoli in the restaurant). All things said and done it took 2 hours for a small portioned 3 course meal which cost $80. Not worth the time or the money."

  • "Don't miss giving it a try. You will be glad you did. Spaghetti Carbonara was the best I've ever had (and I'm from the Northeast!) Mozzarella sandwich appetizer is fabulous as is the Seafood Ravioli in Vodka Sauce. We will definitely be going back."

  • "Went during Restaurant week. Monday night and the place was almost empty. Nice Sinatra & Martin playing for background. They didn't skimp on portions like others do with a limited menu. Fried mozzarella sandwiches were nice. We had the chicken capri & seafood ravioli. Both dishes were very good. Desserts were tiramisu and cannolis. Again solid dishes presented in a straight-forward manner. Capri was an above average experience."

  • "My wife and I made reservations for 8:00 pm on New Year's Eve at Capris. When we arrived, there was another couple waiting with no host/hostess up front. The restaurant was packed and one of the guys bringing food to tables came over to greet us. He explained that the kitchen was behind and he was performing both roles and we'd be seated shortly. I told him I'd made a reservation, but he didn't take my name or check the reservation book. He walked back to the kitchen and we waited. More people trickled in, with no restaurant employee up front. The host eventually returns when 25+ people have gathered. He starts seating without regard for reservations. We got seated quick, so no big deal, but that was just luck. Others were frustrated"

  • "As always, Dino was a welcoming owner/host/chef/FRIEND. Six of us were seated promptly, as always, taken care of impeccably and very personably, and enjoyed a wonderful meal AGAIN at Capri. Having never been disappointed, with one exception of not being able to get Dino's mussel and clam "special," everything was perfecto from beginning to end. BRAVO! BRAVO! BRAVO!"

  • "I wouldn't say Capri is the best of Italian restaurants, but if personal service, special requests, and being made to feel like family is what you're looking for, it's THE place for a good old world Italian menu made with love and freshness. Dino also welcomes Celiacs/gluten-intolerant customers openly which makes life so much easier today as the numbers of us are mounting. The staff is all family and you are treated like family but in a very relaxing atmosphere. There's nothing that you can't have - if it's not a special or on the menu, Dino will make it for you or he'll suggest something for you."
